I'll put my trust in Gimple if indeed Glenn is alive to have come up with a logical explanation. I'm not gonna pass judgment till I see how it all unfolds.

Any logical explanation should have been shown already. For instance, I could see a case being made for a fantasy sequence, but then that needs to be followed immediately with what actually happened. Killing off a character on screen and then coming back two episodes later with an "oh it was just a dream" thing is the kind of stuff that even soap operas don't do anymore because it's too hokey.

Due to real life circumstance, I've watched all of this seasons episodes too late at night and far too drunk. I've missed quite a few details. But even I came out of the episode thinking Glen is alive.

I agree that on the surface using the "It was just a dream" approach seems rather ridiculous. But I want to see what Gimple does before saying with 100% conviction it isn't going to work.

Just like Tyreese, the writers are really screwing up another chance to have a very beloved character. First they make Morgan an ultra-pacifist who makes idiotic mistakes which is already starting to make people sour on him, and now they put his dedicated episode (which everyone really wanted just a few weeks ago) right in the middle of a big cliffhanger when no one wants to be bothered with a flashback episode that doesn't resolve everything.It would be, but not right after the Glenn cliff hanger. I don't need a full 90-minute episode about how Morgan became Donatello from TMNT.I think it would be awesome to see what Morgan did from the time of losing his son, to Clear, to ninja Morgan trekking to Vathey better not dedicate the entire next episode to "morgan's dilemma".

Has anyone other than Glenn talked to Nicolas this season?
Any chance there is a 6th sense thing going on here. Glenn killed him in the season 5 finale and keeps seeing him thinking he is alive?
No idea if this is possible, but the thought just occurred to me that Nick is a hallucination of Glenn's.

Getting everyone interested and guessing for the next two weeks.. as I feel next weeks 90 minute episode is going to focus on Morgan..

My daughter has been too busy with School and friends to watch this season just been dvr'ing them, but after school yesterday and hearing "Did you see that!?!?!" she came home and immediately caught up.. Buzz = Viewership

He's been the one flipping out throughout the run through town looking for a building to burn.. and Glenn constantly pulling him back to reality..
So they get on top of the dumpster, both empty their pistol's and he goes into the
look thinking they are done..
Hallucinates that he miraculously finds one extra bullet... realizes that if he shoots himself he also kills Glenn who he owes... snaps too and they climb the fence and use it to get to the building..
He's been the one flipping out throughout the run through town looking for a building to burn.. and Glenn constantly pulling him back to reality..

The way Gimple worded the answer about how we did see a gun at Nick's temple and not directly saying Nick shot himself has me thinking we could see something involving Glenn having killed him and hallucinating the rest though.

Yeah that's what I just posted. Based on the way Gimple was answering the questions I'm thinking it was Glenn's.(HULK) said:

Wasn't Glenn involved in any of the group fights with the governor or other groups? If so it is possible he killed someone just not in a one on one situation. I still don't like that angle as he definitely would kill a threat if faced with one and don't want to rewatch every episode to confirm if that is true or not.

I don't think I'd get shanked by some wandering zombie like so many of these clowns. I'd either bite it in the days after the outbreak ala FEAR THE WALKING DEAD or I'd piss the wrong human off months/years after and catch a bullet.

To layer onto it, what if the shot came from someone else and that is why the splatter hit Glenn in the face like it did. Way too much splatter for a gunshot to the head like that, it wasn't a 44 magnum afterall. So the mystery shooter comes in and wipes out all the walkers and voila...Glenn lives.(HULK) said:

That's a lot of walkers to get rid of who are all on top of Glenn.
If Glenn's alive, I'm starting to think this is more about him killing Nick and somehow becoming seriously messed up as a result. If Kirkman's comments at Comic-Con can be trusted developing Glenn's character in a completely new way as a result of him doing something he'd never done before (something Gimple references in the article I posted) would line up as something cool to see. But ultimately, it all resides with a believable explanation for how he didn't die based on what we saw. That's on Gimple.

If true, that's not a good development or use of Glenn's character.
IMO, part of Glenn's allure (both in the comic issues that I've read and the show) is that he's NOT messed up. He doesn't carry baggage. I think that's what makes him likeable....
and really makes what happens to him in the book more deplorable.

I don't read the comics so I don't know how he was developed there but I agree on the show he's been the one person who's generally refused to succumb to the savagery all around him. But he has teetered on the brink before and maybe this is the moment where he loses control and now he has to deal with the ramifications of what he's done.
To this point things have not fared too well for the moral compass of the show. They typically end up dying. Maybe with Glenn, Gimple has other plans. The way he harped on Glenn never having killed a human in the article sure makes it seem like that's a character point they wanted to emphasize.
