3?Yep, had some last night. Not bad for feeding a family of three at that price.Red Baron Brick Oven is actually pretty good, especially at the $5-ish pricepoint.

Even had a slice leftover. Wife and son each had 2 slices and I ate 3. I guess not a family of big eaters.3?Yep, had some last night. Not bad for feeding a family of three at that price.Red Baron Brick Oven is actually pretty good, especially at the $5-ish pricepoint.![]()
Haha, single guy here. I cut mine into quarters. It occurs to me that eating a whole, uncut frozen pizza would make for an interesting eat-off competition.Even had a slice leftover. No. We aren’t Cleveland up here.Aren't they used to construct ice fishing huts? ... ignorant deep South resident. And in the winter time they are just on racks outside the stores for easy access......The nice thing aboot northern wisconsin is you can buy a locally made frozen pizza at every grocery store, convenience store, tavern, church, supper club, ice fishing shack, VFW hall, hockey rink, and hardware store.
Cauliflower crust pizzas are awesome!Yep.Sprinkling some Italian Seasoning on a frozen pizza goes a really long way to improving the flavor.
Friday night is pizza night in the Woz household and we usually make frozen cauliflower crust pizzas. I add Italian seasoning and garlic powder. I then add some Flatiron brand red pepper flakes. Works wonders.

Pro-tip. Take the pizzas out of the box (they are individually wrapped). Eat 2, put the other in the freezer.I've wanted to try Jack's but they only have it in a 3-pack at our usual grocery store and that damn box wouldn't fit in our tiny freezer.Yep... besides Jack's. Same; had my daughter pick one up on the way back from school the other night and we enjoyed it thoroughly. As a pizza lover this thread has directly contributed to my overall happiness. And my daughters'.Woz family tried Porta tonight based on this thread. Great stuff. Little Wozzes approve.
I always just buy the cheapest.
All frozen pizza is garbage anyway
If you're buying the cheapest then you are definitely buying garbage. I do agree that most is garbage and it usually has a lot to do with the crust. I started this thread because the Porta crust really took me by surprise. Definitely not garbage.I always just buy the cheapest.
All frozen pizza is garbage anyway
Yep. Like many things, frozen pizza has significantly improved.I always just buy the cheapest.
All frozen pizza is garbage anyway
Maybe in 1995 but frozen pizza has come a long way. But yes, most of the cheap stuff is rubbish.
We rarely eat frozen pizza, but sometimes get cauliflower crust cheese pizza, then add frozen spinach and sun dried tomatoes.Yep.Sprinkling some Italian Seasoning on a frozen pizza goes a really long way to improving the flavor.

I got the $900 indoor pizza oven that is down to $800 now, but was $700 on a sale and results have been spectacular so far. Related: I've put on 4 pounds since it arrived for the Super Bowl.God, I wish I had a $900 pizza ovenand cook it in your $900 pizza oven
They had scissors but no knives??Our favorite local pizza chain uses scissors to cut their pizza - it's what was available when they were founded,

I enjoyed the sausage and onions one. Haven't tried anything else beyond the pepperoni and margherita. We branched out and tried the mushroom & fontina Porta pizza. While still good it wasn't on the level of the Margherita. It was a little dry. They are going for a white pizza thing with that one. Someone had mentioned they were going to give that one a shot and I wanted to give a heads up. We're going to give the other two a shot in the coming weeks.
I do the same but after adding the cost of the extras you're basically at the cost of the real pizza, I do it for convenience but not for taste or health due to all the preservatives in the frozen pie.I can turn a Red Baron, Screaming Sicilian or Freshetta frozen pizza into a loaded nice looking and tasty pie after adding extras. Better than most chain pizza.
From what I gather it goes on sale at Whole Foods every 4 or 6 weeks for $8 and change.Tried the pepperoni version last night. Definitely good but also definitely not cheap.
yeah those things are good and decently healthy but tiny, can maybe have for lunch but not really a meal. Not sure who recommended the Caulipower frozen pizzas, but just had one for the first time and really liked it. Could be twice the size, but that’s beside the point
