Squistion needs to take a page out of the book of Tim and create an alias to make these strawman arguements.
You should take your own advice. Your credibility has never recovered from the defense of your hero George Zimmerman in the Trayvon Martin shooting.

Same thing it did before, nothing. No one should really care. However, that didn't stop the OP and the other Kaep haters from railing against him for 50+ pages and stating that he should be blackballed (so to speak) from the NFL and not be allowed to even be rostered on another team as a backup QB, let alone start another game.
:link:

Blackballed sounds like a porn video.
black·ball

ˈblakˌbôl/

verb
past tense: blackballed; past participle: blackballed

  1. reject (someone, usually a candidate applying to become a member of a private club), typically by means of a secret ballot.
"her husband was blackballed when he tried to join the country club"

    synonyms:

reject, debar, bar, ban, vote against, blacklist, exclude, shut out; More

Did I miss something?   I am pretty sure the jury found him not guilty just like I said they would.   It was a very weak case that under normal circumstances would have never been prosecuted.  Only a complete fool would take a case of being correct as losing credibility.  You have become the biggest jerk on this forum.  Good luck with your number 1 seed BTW.

What exactly happened to the contract?

Revised deal means Colin Kaepernick likely auditioning for next team, not 49ers

[...]

The 49ers and Kaepernick’s agents have been working on a restructured contract that, when finalized and signed, is expected to make him a free agent in March, according to a person with knowledge of the negotiations.

The person spoke on condition of anonymity, because they weren’t authorized to speak about the new deal, which would delete the last three years (2018 through 2020) of Kaepernick’s existing pact. The remaining season would void automatically if he remains on the roster seven days before the start of the 2017 league year. The new contract also would convert $125,000 in per-game roster bonuses to guaranteed salary and add up to $1 million in playing-time incentives this season, ensuring Kaepernick, 28, makes at least $14.3 million — and more if he keeps the job.

In exchange for freeing him from the rest of his long-term deal, Kaepernick would give up an eight-figure injury guarantee for next season, removing the risk for the 49ers to put him on the field at a time Kelly maintains Kaep isn’t where he was two or three years ago.

So basically the rest of his contract is voided out?

[Squistion] Twitterverse is blowing up guys.

Kaep completed 3 straight deep outs 20 yards down the field during 7 on 7's in practice today, keep hating! [/Squistion]

Colin Kaepernick will start for the 49ers on Sunday.

This is the biggest Sunday loss for Trump supporters since the last debate.

Chip Kelly on naming Kaepernick the starting QB:

"Our quarterback has totally failed our fans, the players on this team. Period.  For those cheering the most who have been failed and failed by their quarterback — year after year, failure after failure, worse numbers after worse numbers. Interceptions. Fumbles. Horrible accuracy. No touchdowns, no first downs, no championship. Incompletions at levels that nobody has seen. You can go to stadiums in cities that we are playing and it's better quarterbacking than by the one being started by the 49ers. And I ask you this, I ask you this — incompletions, all of the problems — to the coaches, who I employ so many, so many people, to the fans, tremendous people: What the hell do you have to lose? Give Kaepernick a chance. He'll straighten it out. He'll straighten it out. What do you have to lose?"

Nice way to stand behind your team, coach.

Seems kind of ironic considering Gabbert only kept his starting spot because, prior to his injury, Kaepernick personified all of those crappy things.

I also think they didn't want Kaepernick on the field until his contract was redone so they wouldn't be responsible for his salary if he got hurt.

If he had been any good it wouldn't have mattered.

In his 9 games last year he had a 59% completion rate, 6 TDs, 6 turnovers, and a 78 passer rating.  He was atrocious.

Gabbert was better last year, but worse this year so it makes sense to throw Kaepernick back in there and let him try again, but Kelly's comments with regard to the reasoning are silly.  He threw both quarterbacks under the bus as justification for giving one of them a chance.  He's not even making sense.

From Adam Caplan and me: 49ers and Colin Kaepernick agreed to a restructured deal, wiping out the last four years on the contract and turning it into a one-year deal with a player option to extend the deal for next year, sources tell ESPN. The monetary value of the deal for this year remains the same. Should he want, Kaepernick can void the deal after this season, before the new league year begins in March, allowing him to become an unrestricted free agent if he so chooses. The 49ers will not be allowed to use their franchise tag on him.

:lmao:  Nicely done.

More on the Kaep deal:

Adam Schefter@AdamSchefter 36m36 minutes ago

If Colin Kaepernick doesn't void deal after this season, his contract terms for 2017 are same $14.5 million salary, but no guaranteed money.

Ian Rapoport@RapSheet 37m37 minutes ago

In Colin Kaepernick's restructured deal thru '17, his 46-man roster bonuses become base salary. A bonus also triggers at 50% playtime.

Agreed to a restructured contract voiding injury guarantees, adding a performance void after 2016, and voids his 2018-20 salaries with San Francisco (SF)
Basically he gave up the injury guarantee in exchange for a player option next year.  Not sure what he gained because the 49ers could have cut him before 4/1/17 without penalty and they can still cut him before the season starts.

He is betting on himself and what he gained is the right to be an unrestricted free agent if he proves himself with the 49ers not being allowed to use the franchise tag and/or trade him.

Ah, gotcha.  I guess he knows he's gone and wants to be able to sign somewhere at the beginning of free agency.

I'm sure they let him know if he wants to play, that needs to be redone.

IMO his agent knew at best he would pick up some 1 year $4M offer during the offseason if he didn't get to showcase his talents this year and the risk/reward is one more little ####ty contract or some 3/$50 if he plays half decent.

I'm rooting heavily against him - I want the 49ers up in smoke 1-15 this year, plus I disliked him well before this.

@General Malaise

He did play well under JH, but that was also during read/option times, RG3 was also looking like a stud. DC's figured that gimmick out for the most part.

The scouting report on him is pretty simple and there is a ton of tape to back it up.

Pros:

- Athletic

- Fast

- Cannon for an arm

That's really all the positives

Cons:

- Cannot go through progressions, forcing passes to first read

- Poor accuracy

- Bad decision making

- Below average when facing pressure, extremely below average when not facing pressure

- Leadership has been called into question throughout his starting tenure

In summary, he sucks, not just a little, I think Gabbert really is the better QB. His negatives FAR outweigh his positives. With all that weight he lost, the Vegan NFL QB is going to find out that running the ball with 25 less pounds on your frame might not work so well.

As I've mentioned, I think we get one or two decent performances out of him - All the fanboys walking around smelling like patchouli oil will be so happy, I'll be waiting for the implosion in about 2 weeks.
