Blake Bortles has had some solid fantasy outings as well, so I've heard.

Edit: How did he get you 49? roughly 16 on passing yards, 12 on TDs, 2 on rushing, -4 on turnovers
inflated scoring system with bonuses for hitting 300 yards and longer TDs (yes, I know, his receivers did the work....still counts!)

If anyone needed more evidence that Kaepernick is a ####### loser, the fact he decided not to vote is all that they should need.

And which candidate do you think he should have gone and and pulled the lever for, Mr Hot Take?

Clinton, who only would have been handed the 'status quo' baton and provided more of the same for the next 4 years?

Or maybe the "Law and Order" candidate who campaigned as being 100% on the side of LEOs?

Weird. My ballot had more than two options to vote for President. It also had many other candidates for different offices as well as ballot initiatives.

Weird. I seem to see the conversation / question he was presented with was based on who he voted for President. That's why I didn't bring anything up down ballot.

And don't tell me that, in 2016, those 3rd party Johnson / Stein votes matter.

Stolen from elsewhere, this is the rest of what he chose not to vote for:

-California's senator to Congress
-State proposition to increase school funding
-State proposition to widen the scope of parole for nonviolent offenders
-State proposition to abolish the death penalty
-State proposition for background checks on ammunition purchases + other gun control measures
-State proposition on legalizing marijuana
-State proposition on allowing bilingual education in classrooms
-State proposition to force a waiting period of 72 hours before a bill is passed, during which it must be available to be read online and in print
-Representative to Californian Assembly
-School District Board
-Community College Board
-City Measure to force businesses with 36+ employees to extend hours of current employees to full time before hiring new employees

Did he say he didnt vote for President or that he didnt vote?

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:  Why would you try to discuss politics when you can't even understand a simple sport?

I trust what people who get paid to do this for a living say over someone on a message board. And to refresh your memory, the OP has seen every 49er games for the last 5 years, but didn't give Kaep a chance to regain the starters role over Gabbert, so seeing all the playis not necessarily the last word on the subject.
Was the photo evidence not enough either, because you still have not apologized for being a Supreme ####### to Saints?  Or are you going to insist a pass which did not even go 15 yards downfield is a long ball and continue to be the jerk.  Or maybe you will attempt to change the subject yet again as we were not even talking about the OP.

His protest was already pretty useless but then he follows it up by not voting for any of his local positions (like sheriff), house or senate, or any propositions?  Come on, man.

Quoting Squistion

Show me where I said he wouldn't regain the role over Gabbert Squisiton? Please.

Is Squistion really 56? I didn't think this level of terrible set in until someone was at least in their 70's, this has to be an anomaly, I hope!

You lash out like a child at everyone that questions your opinion. Never relevant content, never a counterpoint, never a discussion about what was brought up. Just insults and mocking wrapped up in a truly incredible inability to use any form of wit. The behavior really screams ignorant rube.

And trust me, I'm laughing too. Its just not with you, its at you.

  Kaepernick didn't vote for anything.  My suggestion to you would be to do some research before responding to me.

What's to research? He was asked about who he voted for on the day of the presidential election because they wanted to know who he voted for for President. They didn't care who he cast his vote for Comptroller or if he voted for rec use of weed.

And I know that the odds are that he's just a lazy dolt, didn't research anything, didn't care and didn't go out and vote. That's his right.

On the off chance that he did,  and there wasn't a candidate or referendum that he felt was supporting the change he wants to see, then why should he vote? Why should he support the system that he thinks is wronging people?

By the way, here's the first time I even noticed that you existed:

Hypocrite much?

The point of the protest is that the flag and the anthem are now symbols of social injustice and inequality to a portion of our country.  It is time to get on the right side of history and get rid of the Stars and Stripes just as the stars and bars have been removed.
Called it

The school administrators need to be fired for not having a spine.

QB15, QB15, QB10, QB6 and QB10 since taking over so he's been improving and has been a very serviceable QB1 as of late. That definitely makes him A-okay in my book.

Colin Kaepernick's final line: 29/46, 296 yards, 3 touchdowns, 1 int. 10-113 on the ground.

Easily his best game of the season.

From Pat Daugherty's The Morning After at Rotoworld:

Colin Kaepernick’s latest good start.

Kaepernick completed 29-of-46 passes for 296 yards and three touchdowns against the Dolphins, coming up two yards short of sending the game into overtime. The three-score day was his first of 2016. Making a strong fantasy day an elite one was his rushing. Kap took the rock 10 times for 113 yards on the ground, continually burning Miami with the read option. The rushing yards were the fourth most of his career. Merely “fantasy good” the first few games after he replaced Blaine Gabbert, Kap has trended toward “actually good” the past month. He’s been a top-12 quarterback in four straight games, and has a soft Week 13 matchup in the Bears’ injury and suspension decimated defense. It goes without saying that you can keep living the stream with Kap. More surprisingly, you might consider him an every-week starter.

Would the OP or anyone else who plays fantasy football bench Newton for Gabbert (like Fabiano) if he (Gabbert) was still the starter? Raise your hands.

I understand fantasy is not reality, but honestly, Kaep is the best QB for this bad team, which was the point all along...

More proof that fantasy football is widely unpredictable from year to year ...

I'm benching Cam Newton for Colin Kaepernick this week.

Colin Kaepernick clarifies remarks on Fidel Castro

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick attempted to clear the air over remarks he made about Fidel Castro.

Kaepernick had been questioned by the Miami Herald's Armando Salguero a little more than week ago on why he wore a shirt with Castro’s image on it during a news conference in August.

In the postgame press conference following the 49ers’ 31-24 loss to the Miami Dolphins, Kaepernick was asked about his remarks, which were interpreted by some as a sign of support for the longtime leader of Cuba.

"What I said was I agree with the investment in education," Kaepernick said. "I also agree with the investment in free universal health care, as well as the involvement in helping end apartheid in South Africa."

Kaepernick continued by saying some people misinterpreted his comments.

"Trying to push the false narrative that I was a supporter of the oppressive things he [Castro] did is just not true," Kaepernick said. "I said I support the investment in education, I never said I support the oppressive things he [Castro] did."

Yeah...um....... Not really
Please. Gabbert couldn't throw the deep ball or run as effectively as Kaep. If he could, Blaine would be starting and Kaep would still be on the bench. Don't take my word for it, look at the fantasy football waiver wire recommendations this week, Kaep is a hot commodity, while Gabbert never was in his entire tenure in San Francisco. But, if you doubt that, fine, then accept your preconceived notions about Kaep coming into this season, which was the reason for this thread.

If the 49ers don't resign him (which I doubt) he will be competing for a starters job if not starting for another team next year.

They've lost a franchise record ten straight games, even the 1979 49ers who lost 14 games had more pride.  But I guess for Baby Boomers (squis) being the best QB on the worst team has some cache, like not getting salmonella poisoning when you go out to eat.

Are they wanting to resign him or re-sign him?  I'm resigned to the fact that you don't understand the difference.  :bye:
Maybe neither after they let him renegotiate his contract, giving him the option to move on to another team if he proves himself this year (which he has irrespective of the 49ers record).

Numbers last week:

296 yards passing, 3 TDs 1 Int

10 rushes for 113 yds.

QUARTERBACKS
1.
Colin Kaepernick, 49ers – Owned in 24 percent of Yahoo leagues
It is so obvious there is no longer any reason to make a case for Kaepernick as an add, and he has now graduated from a streaming option to a must-own after a great performance in what looked like a bad spot on the road in Miami. He will be an easy top-ten option this week against the Bears and in the next three games against the Jets, Falcons, and Rams.
Recommendation: Should be owned in all leagues
