[DYNASTY] I think it's crazy to declare a guy a bust, at this age, after 10 games, with the injuries and on and on.
I think ARich owners need to evaluate the team. With a guy like this, it takes a village.
Do you believe in the Colts organization? Do you think they are going to do the right thing to develop their young QB? If you do, then I think he's a hold. If you drafted him, you believe in the talent, the measureables, the traits are still there. You had to think he was a project, and there would be bad games. He's a sell if you don't think the Colts have the infrastructure to develop him.
I was thinking about this, as I watched Geno Smith and Sam Darnold performing well for their respective franchises, and thinking about what their careers may have looked like if they had been drafted by the Seahawks and VIkings instead of the team currently rolling out the withered husk that used to be Aaron Rodgers.
My issue all along with ARich was cost. I thought he was drafted way too high for a project, I thought there was an over-correction in scouting. People missed on previous mobile guys, and didn't want to whiff on the next Lamar/Josh Allen. Thus, as a fantasy asset, he was overpriced. He pretty much cost the same in rookie drafts as Kyler Murray, and his cost should have been closer to Malik WIllis. Unrealistic expectations, based on his experience and past performance, at a high cost, and you have the current opinion of him.
