Lamar Jackson completed 15-of-31 for 257 yards and a touchdown in the Ravens' Week 7 loss to the Bengals, adding 12 rushes for 88 yards. 

Jackson was yanked midway through the fourth quarter after Baltimore's defense gave up against a Bengals offense that did anything it wanted against the Ravens. Jackson peppered Marquise Brown with 14 targets, hitting Hollywood on a long first half touchdown and narrowly missing him on a couple other deep throws. Jackson, who salvaged his fantasy day with 88 rushing yards, had a 40-yard run called back on a holding penalty -- a crushing blow to any chance at a Lamar ceiling game. Jackson and the Ravens take on the Vikings in Week 9 after their Week 8 bye. A Ravens-Vikings game profiles as a track meet, giving Jackson a chance to break out of his mini statistical slump.

Lamar Jackson completed 27-of-41 pass attempts for 266 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions in the Ravens' Week 9 win against the Vikings, adding 21 rushes for 120 yards. 

Jackson continues to function as Baltimore's quarterback and primary running back. He missed out on a rushing score by mere inches in the second half before Le'Veon Bell vultured the touchdown on one of his 11 carries. With a long rush of 12 yards, Jackson didn't register a lengthy run, but regularly ate up six to eight yards when he left the pocket and danced around and between Minnesota defenders (he's now averaging a silly 75 rushing yards per game). His fantasy day could've been bigger: Mark Andrews dropped a touchdown from L-Jax in the first quarter. He'll be an elite Week 10 option against a poor Miami defense. The only question is whether Jackson will play in the fourth quarter of a likely blowout victory against the Dolphins.

Lamar Jackson completed 26-of-43 passes for 238 yards, one touchdown and an interception in the Ravens' 22-10, Week 10 loss to the Dolphins, adding nine carries for 39 additional yards. 

In one of the Ravens' worst offensive performances of the Jackson era, the unit simply faceplanted against a hyper-aggressive defense, one committed to zero blitzes and man coverage. The Ravens never countered by getting their middle-of-the-field game going. It didn't help that one of Jackson's short, slant completions was immediately coughed up for a game-changing fumble six by Sammy Watkins in the fourth quarter. It also didn't help that Watkins simply quit on a would-be touchdown in the first quarter, seeming to lose the ball in the lights in the end zone. Either that, or he felt too close to the field goal post or the Dolphins' admittedly too-close wall. Jackson's pick came in the dying moments of the game with the contest already decided. The Ravens' lack of adjustments this evening was surprising, but they also had the looks of a gassed squad on a short week after running a billion plays against the Vikings four days prior. They now have 10 days to rest up for a Week 11 Chicago road trip. Jackson will be back in the top five for that one.

Lamar Jackson was sent home from Ravens practice Wednesday with a non-Covid illness.

John Harbaugh did not sound overly concerned with Jackson's health, noting "I guess it's that time of year." Jackson will be looking to bounce back in Week 11 against the Bears after the Dolphins held him in check in Week 10. Jackson's fantasy managers may want to consider adding a backup option on waivers in deeper leagues. His practice availability will be important to monitor this week.

Lamar Jackson (non-COVID illness) remained sidelined on Thursday. 

Jackson might set a new Guinness world record for the most practices missed with non-COVID illnesses, but all that matters is that it's not the coronavirus. Unless that changes, Jackson will be out there against the Bears, and can be trusted to bounce back from last week's zero-blitz shutdown vs. Miami.

Lamar Jackson (illness) returned to practice Friday. 

Jackson missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday with a non-COVID illness. Perhaps he found some zinc at his local CVS. Jackson should be good to go this week against the Bears. Marquise Brown and Rashod Bateman also returned to practice Friday, a big development for Jackson's Week 11 prospects.

Lamar Jackson is still sick. And it's left his status for Sunday's game against the Bears in question.

One day after being a full participant in practice, the Ravens quarterback was put back on the injury report and listed as questionable with an illness. Jackson said Friday that he had been dealing with cold symptoms. They continued Saturday, as NFL Network's Stacey Dales reported that Jackson wasn't feeling well at the team's morning walk-through due to the sickness, which is not COVID related.

The former MVP will travel with the team to Chicago and continue to be monitored, per Dales and NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. Jackson's new game designation could ultimately prove to be precautionary, as the Ravens would be in violation of league rules if he were unable to play and wasn't listed on the final injury report.

Jackson did not practice Wednesday or Thursday because of his sickness, allowing second-year backup Tyler Huntley to claim all the first-team reps. On Friday, Jackson said he was feeling "way better" than he did earlier in the week and was full-go in practice.

The next 24 hours will be critical in determining whether the superstar QB ultimately plays in Week 11. If Jackson is able to go, he won't have his top target at his disposal.

The Ravens announced later Saturday that Marquise Brown has been downgraded from questionable to out. He was limited in practice Friday after being sidelined the previous two days. The third-year wideout's 52 receptions, 719 receiving yards and six touchdown catches are all team highs.

But he said he was much better Friday and practiced in full. It is a cold. And the blurb above suggests they had to list him on the injury report because if they hadn't, and then he ended up sitting, it would violate league rules. So maybe just precautionary.

Ravens had a non-COVID virus go through their organization last week, affecting a multitude of players including Lamar Jackson, WR Rashod Bateman, C Bradley Bozeman, amongst others. Jackson arrived at stadium a short time ago and team soon will test him to see if he can play.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Lamar Jackson will try to play through a non-COVID virus in Week 11 against the Bears.

Jackson will likely be active as he was spotted at the stadium and is reportedly making an effort to play. However, Rapoport added that "he's not really himself." If he does play, expect a lighter-than-usual workload for the young quarterback. He'll be closer to the back half of the QB1 cohort if he's active this week. Tyler Huntley is his backup and would be a mid-QB2 if he draws the start.
