"Oilers say Warren Moon will win a Super Bowl: "It's inevitable."

Seems like it is, perhaps, kinda completely evitable.
There's surely a 50%+ chance that at least one of Jackson/Allen/Burrow fail to win a Super Bowl, right?
I think it is most likely that two of them will not get one.

there might be 1 SB out there for the taking after Mahomes finishes this 11-peat

Plus, and I know this is tough for some to admit, but Lamar simply isn't the player in the postseason that he is in the regular season. I think last year was his best shot (1 seed with home field), and he pooped the bed in the AFCCG, and while there is a lot of blame to go around for this past Sunday, his two early turnovers put them in a hole they ultimately could not climb out of.

I don't know how other teams operate, but the Ravens have always been lax with established-veteran attendance at these things. Now if you're a new player, you'd better be there even if you're injured. Jackson was there the first day of OTAs.

Yeah Lamar is fine. He’s been in Fla training and got some reps in with teammates down there. He was at the OTAs for a bit. Looks lean and quick like early career and last years version of Lamar to me.

Right. I'm not worried about guys like Jackson, Andrews, Stanley, Humphrey, Smith, Ricard, etc... having to get themselves ready for a season at volunteer OTAs. They know what they need to do. Plus, the Ravens haven't had near the coaching turnover that they had before last season so there's no big learning curve for those guys. Let the newer guys get used to what Baltimore is doing and see who sticks.

I'm only mildly surprised he is missing OTAs because he's forfeiting $750k. He did it last year too.

I know he's set for life, at least he should be, but still.

I'm not sure how his contract is written in regards to OTAs. As I said above, he was there the first day.

In any case, he's just wired differently. Definitely not a conventional thinker and I think a lot of Ravens fans have a problem (or, at least, questions) with that.

His play on the field should eliminate any concerns the fans have.

Oh, it doesn't bother me  But - you know how it goes - there's always a contingent in any fanbase that'll go ballistic if things don't happen like they (supposedly) did in 1975.

Lamar Jackson traveled 75.9 yards on this 19-yard scramble.

Jackson is responsible for 4 of the 5 longest scramble runs by total distance traveled over the last two seasons.

#BALvsBUF | #RavensFlock

Jackson was contacted 20 yards behind the line of scrimmage, the fewest yards before contact on a play that gained positive yardage since 2017.

The previous mark was held by Cam Newton (-13 yards before contact on an 8-yard gain in Week 7, 2017).

Some are saying he may be suspended for the fan incident.. NFLN said that is a big no-no for the league.
He probably needs to be, as the league needs to send out a clear message to players that you cannot push fans even if they push first. That could have gotten ugly fast had fans then pushed back and other players starting pushing as well. The league needs to also send out a mandate to every NFL team that fans in their stadiums need to be ejected immediately in such scenarios and banned for life from attending another NFL game.

I think I agree with you, in principle, even though there’s a huge part of me that laments the fact that I can see the necessity of it.

Lamar isn’t Metta World Peace Artest. He knee-jerk pushed a fan that hit him in the head. But you can’t have fans hitting or throwing things at players and you definitely can’t have players laying hands on fans.

They can't suspend him. We'll just create some sort of army of self sacrificing psycho rival fans knowing all they need to do is get a physical reaction from a player after the illegally assault a player who defends himself, but the league still suspends and ruins a teams' season.

League/Team need to come down HARD on the fan.

There is a 0% chance that Lamar gets suspended for this, because he’s Lamar. But because he’s Lamar, he may get a six-figure fine. The NFL will also surely reiterate to all teams what the consequences of players touching fans in instances like this could lead to (if you’re not a franchise quarterback).

Honestly, if they can identify the fan, I would be totally fine with assault charges being filed against him. Being that close to the field does not give you the right to push a player like that.

When I saw the replay, I was actually surprised at how Lamar got pushed in the head.

I doubt the NFL does anything to him as quite frankly, isn't it the responsibility of the NFL or the team to protect the players on the field?

This is a bad look on the NFL and the Bills, not the player. No protection for the players from fans. Fans throwing stuff in the field during play. Where is security?

Dude did it twice, I think the first was to Hopkins.
