This actually makes sense- the browns don't need to reach for what looks like a weak qb class, and tyrod gets to go to a team with some young talent. He'd be the best qb Cleveland has seen since one year of Derek Anderson. It makes so much sense the browns will never do it, right? I really don't know what the bills are thinking here....(USA Today Fantasy Sports) Buffalo Bills QB Tyrod Taylor could draw interest from the Cleveland Browns if they cut QB Robert Griffin III, according to ESPN's Pat McManamon.
Fits perfectly with Cleveland's "moneyball" approach. Have they actually done/not done anything? Taylor is still with them afaik. Not sure what the bills are thinking here.....

Terrible analysis here.$30m is too much for a QB who isn't helping you win and got benched for EJ Manual? Cut the loses now.
Coach Sean McDermott made it clear the new Bills' offense will feature Tyrod Taylor's "movement" ability.
New Bills OC Rick Dennison comes from the Kubiak-Shanahan tree, whose offenses feature bootleg-heavy play calls and get their quarterbacks on the move. Dennison was Taylor's position coach in 2014 with the Ravens and should have a full grasp of Tyrod's strengths and weaknesses. McDermott did emphasize that running the football will remain the Bills' identity on offense.

Speaking with the MMQB's Peter King, new Bills GM Brandon Beane promised an "open competition" at quarterback.
Coach Sean McDermott initially said Tyrod Taylor is the quarterback of the future, but he amended his statement after Beane's comments, saying it "remains to be seen" if that player is currently on the roster. In an interview with WGR 550 Buffalo on Monday morning, Beane added the Bills will continue to "turn over every stone" until they are "100 percent set" at quarterback. Despite a completely new front office and coaching staff, it is clear Taylor's spot atop the depth chart remains precarious. He would leave over $8.5 million in dead cap, but the Bills can get out of Taylor's contract after this season.

Or not...
Agreed.Multiple picks in each of the first three rounds next year doesn't look good for Taylor's spot atop the depth chart in Buffalo
Don't think it says anything about that. They're stockpiling picks like Cleveland. Taylor's performance this year will determine his future.Multiple picks in each of the first three rounds next year doesn't look good for Taylor's spot atop the depth chart in Buffalo

He is taking part in individual drills today though.
Tyrod Taylor (concussion) returned to practice Monday.
It is a bit of a shock after coach Sean McDermott said his Week 1 status was "up in the air" on Monday morning. He is not out of the protocol and only working in individual drills, but this work gives Taylor a good shot to suit up against the Jets on Sunday.

That's part of the protocol. They slowly increase his physical exertion and measure responses to it. After practices they do a new set of baselines to see what level of symptoms, if any, are still present.GroveDiesel said:He is taking part in individual drills today though.
