QB Tyrod Taylor, NYJ (1 Viewer)

Where ever he goes, he will have better chance to succeed than in Buffalo.

If Buffalo doesn't want him, someone will.

(USA Today Fantasy Sports) Buffalo Bills QB Tyrod Taylor could draw interest from the Cleveland Browns if they cut QB Robert Griffin III, according to ESPN's Pat McManamon.
This actually makes sense- the browns don't need to reach for what looks like a weak qb class, and tyrod gets to go to a team with some young talent. He'd be the best qb Cleveland has seen since one year of Derek Anderson. It makes so much sense the browns will never do it, right? I really don't know what the bills are thinking here....

As a dynasty owner I'm bummed. Was hoping he would go to Cleveland.  Oh well, maybe the OC will open up the offense some and Watkins will play more than 5 games.

Coach Sean McDermott made it clear the new Bills' offense will feature Tyrod Taylor's "movement" ability.

New Bills OC Rick Dennison comes from the Kubiak-Shanahan tree, whose offenses feature bootleg-heavy play calls and get their quarterbacks on the move. Dennison was Taylor's position coach in 2014 with the Ravens and should have a full grasp of Tyrod's strengths and weaknesses. McDermott did emphasize that running the football will remain the Bills' identity on offense.

I love the mindset, but I'm not really sure that's something you can design an offense around.

Bootlegs definitely play into Tyrod's skillset, but at times you have to have a QB that can take a straight drop and exploit all areas of the field.

I almost wonder if they could put together an offense where they split the OL an extra foot or so, in hopes the D plays to it to give Tyrod better passing lanes to the middle of the field. If the D doesn't adjust to the wider splits they almost have a "hot-route" package in place to go to bootlegs, with adjusted WR routes, while the DL get funneled up the middle.

Speaking with the MMQB's Peter King, new Bills GM Brandon Beane promised an "open competition" at quarterback.
Coach Sean McDermott initially said Tyrod Taylor is the quarterback of the future, but he amended his statement after Beane's comments, saying it "remains to be seen" if that player is currently on the roster. In an interview with WGR 550 Buffalo on Monday morning, Beane added the Bills will continue to "turn over every stone" until they are "100 percent set" at quarterback. Despite a completely new front office and coaching staff, it is clear Taylor's spot atop the depth chart remains precarious. He would leave over $8.5 million in dead cap, but the Bills can get out of Taylor's contract after this season.

Nobody should buy this "open competition" garbage, least of all Tyrod. He's the most experienced and talented QB on the roster, by a fairly wide margin. Yates came in the league the same year but is a serviceable game manager at best. Neither Jones or Peterman are ready to face an NFL pass rush. Tyrod is the man.

Tyrod Taylor (concussion) returned to practice Monday.

It is a bit of a shock after coach Sean McDermott said his Week 1 status was "up in the air" on Monday morning. He is not out of the protocol and only working in individual drills, but this work gives Taylor a good shot to suit up against the Jets on Sunday.

He is taking part in individual drills today though.
That's part of the protocol.  They slowly increase his physical exertion and measure responses to it.  After practices they do a new set of baselines to see what level of symptoms, if any, are still present.
