Or what?Should have started Diggs. Better not cost me the title.
I like him and he had a fine game but it was another sub 4 ypc game.Hankmoody said:Awful quiet but he put up another great run and he looks the part. He was a solid RB2 for one of my championship dynasty teams and he's got the potential to be a an RB1 for quite a few years.
I have him in the two leagues I won, both are very deep teams and I will be looking to package him in consolidation moves. I have the 1.03 in one and 1.04 in the other so I might use him to get up to 1.01 but there are lots of ways for me to use him.Is he a hold or trade?
have a few teams sniffing around in a keeper league and I have Collins, Lewis, Henry, Ingram to sell off and keep one to pair with Gurley
He is definitely an interesting player going into 2018.I have him in the two leagues I won, both are very deep teams and I will be looking to package him in consolidation moves. Hellohttps://www.cbssports.com/fantasy/football/news/ravens-kenneth-dixon-mentioned-by-harbaugh/
"Ravens coach John Harbaugh mentioned Dixon (knee), Alex Collins and Javorius Allen when discussing the team's backfield for 2018, Jeff Zrebiec of The Baltimore Sun reports. "I think we have a whole good group of guys," Harbaugh said. "Obviously, we have a starter and Alex has proven that. He had a great year last year. He makes people miss. He breaks tackles, gets yards after contact. This is a player that makes stuff happen. He's exciting. I know our fans love him. And we're going to get Kenneth Dixon back. I think Buck Allen had his best year by far last year. He's kind of growing, coming into his own as a football player. Those are three really good backs.""
I feel the same but this team has a ton of problems that are bigger than rb.I want to believe. I’m just afraid this translates somehow to the Ravens drafting a RB in rd 1 or 2 and then giving 70% of the carries to Buck Allen.
I'll believe it when I see itDid Harbaugh finally have the chance to look at the tape and realize that Collins should be the lead back instead of rotating constantly?

Agreed. They still need o-line help and some more LB help too. I think its very possible they don't draft a RB even in the late rounds, and just roll with Collins, Dixon, and Allen. After 2 picks in round 1, I think the Collins arrow is pointing up. A TE that can block and a running QB that usually improves the run game + no RB taken with 2 offensive picks and a greater need to draft a WR coming up.
They had a lot of injuries last year but were still 6th best in run blocking DVOA. Not bad.I am more worried about the oline then another RB. They need a lot of help on the right side.
No argument, but I think they over achieved. They take a pretty big hit losing Jensen. I am skeptical about Yanda durability. The dude hasn't played a full season since 2015. They also lost Howard. You might say who cares, but Pro Football Focus graded him out in the 77% percentile. I look at all this info and it leads me to believe they need online help. They had a lot of injuries last year but were still 6th best in run blocking DVOA. Not bad.
I doubt lamar starts unless flacco is injured, or Baltimore is out of playoff contention. After 2 picks in round 1, I think the Collins arrow is pointing up. A TE that can block and a running QB that usually improves the run game + no RB taken with 2 offensive picks and a greater need to draft a WR coming up.
Don't think Dixon can outplay Collins?I love Alex Collins, but I think he is limited in PPR. He is an OK pass catcher and he says he is working on becoming a 'complete back', but don't forget about Kenneth Dixon. He was injured last year and is probably the 3rd down guy. However, Collins has a good chance to get a huge amount of TDs along with 1200+ rushing yards.
I also think the Ravens team as a whole will be better than last year, so game script and some balance on offense will help out Collins a lot. Their defense is legit and going to keep them in games.
This makes no sense. Not sold on Collins. Ravens have historically used their RBs well. Might just be a product of the system.
Personally, I like Dixon more.
Agree with you on his talents, I am still skeptical that he is going to get the full complement of carries and be in on situations to warrant him being used as an RB1, or even a dependable RB2. No knock on Collins, who I think is amazing, but more on the staff who never seemed to let him become more of a bell cow despite the signs he could do so. Whether it was too nervous about repeat fumbling, they see other backs as being better situationally, or whatever, it's hard for me right now to think his usage is going to be drastically different than last year.Man, I strongly disagree with both of you after watching Collins down the stretch last year. His feet never stopped moving, and his tempo was incredible. I think he's going to be heavily involved on 1st and 2nd downs.
Dixon is still a fine player but I think he will be a change of pace back and a nice 3rd down option.
This. It made me sick to watch them keep using an extremely ineffective Allen at the goal line after Collins already proved himself as the season wore on.If they gave him the GL carries, which they should have, this guy would be discussed as a higher end RB going forward.
Solid buy low candidate
Plus, Collins isn't coming off a torn meniscus.Man, I strongly disagree with both of you after watching Collins down the stretch last year. His feet never stopped moving, and his tempo was incredible. I think he's going to be heavily involved on 1st and 2nd downs.

Same here. And I have no reason to believe it won't happen againThis. It made me sick to watch them keep using an extremely ineffective Allen at the goal line after Collins already proved himself as the season wore on.
lol. I like Dixon more than Collins, but I also kinda liked West more than Dixon. Collins had a nice year though. This makes no sense.
