That's the muscle, and the hip is the joint - could well be that both are accurate.
Also very glad he is ok and hope he is able to get back out there as soon as makes sense.

ASAP sounds like it could be a little while. The latest headline I saw was “doctors believe Robinson will be able to play this year”.
All good thoughts, also nice idea to have the option to return fire if it comes down to it and a life is in serious danger. "Daydreaming" about these kinds of specific scenarios on a regular basis is a really good idea, as crappy as that sounds. The more things you've dreamed up ahead of time, the less time it will take to decide what the frick to do.

Woah Woah Woah...the man was just victimized and violently attacked where he could have lost his life, I'm not trying to be overly sensitive here but doctors say he can maybe play this season, doesn't sound like Week 1 and I wouldn't be comfortable as a Front Office Senior Exec allowing him out so quickly after something like this.

It is funnier that way. Usually when I have a gun pointed angrily at me, I try to lighten the mood. "Here take 20 or whatever I've got and get gas and snacks but lemme have my kids..." And of course the obligatory "keep my wife"

It's actually a lot better than that since he had medical doctors remove the bullets surgically. I have no idea what his timeline is though.
I’ve see all sorts of examples. Paul Pierce was stabbed 11 times in the back and face and neck and had surgery on his lung. He then went on to play all 82 games of that nba season.Raekwon Davis got a sack for Alabama, days after suffering gunshot wound
The Alabama defensive lineman took a "minor" wound to the leg.
College player shot in the leg and records a sack in a game the next week /shrug
I don’t know if others are in the same boat as me but I can only put a player on IR who is actually on the a NFL IR. If he gets put on this list then I will likely cut bait since I don’t want him clogging up a roster spot for at least four weeks when waiver pick ups start happening after week one games. If he went to IR it would be an easy hold for me.
Not me. If it was a minor surgery to remove a bullet (and it did not hit anything major), don't see why he can't be back within 19 weeks. Even a month seems doable. How does it not?
