Pretty rough response by the Raiders to Adam Shefter.

He report that Art Shell will be fire by Oakland at the end of the season and apparently the Raiders organization didn't like it. So they made some typical Raider personnal attack.

The bottom line of the NFL network was scrolling something to the effect that the Raiders were saying Shefter was a "known rumor monger" and was consistently wrong about the Raiders due to his ties with Shanahan and the Broncos

Wrong or not, that franchise is committing a public disservice if they employ Art Shell in 2007. I hate the Raiders more than any other team, but i'd still like to see 32 competant teams in the league next year.
