While a body is needed for the LEO position, I feel that Tuitt offers versatility and more return on this this pick.

With the 36th pick of the NFL Draft the Raiders select Xavier Su'a-Filo OG UCLA.

The Raiders OG play in 2013 was atrocious to say the least. Especially at the LG position. Adding who I consider the 2nd best OG in the draft will go a long way to help shore up the offensive line for the Raiders.

Defensive line was also considered here both DE and DT are areas of need for the Raiders as well. However, LG is also just as big of a need with the LG spot being a big soar spot for the Raiders last season.

Strengths: Powerfully-built. Very good initial quickness, hand placement and impressive upper body strength to gain the initial advantage on defenders. Due to his core strength and flexibility, Su'a-Filo anchors very well against bull-rushes and shows lateral agility and balance in pass pro. Perfect match in UCLA's drive-blocking scheme, but has the athleticism to fit in a zone-blocking scheme as well.

Weaknesses: Has a tendency to lose leverage on contact.

Yes, I was happy to see him still on the board. It really fills a big need for the Raiders. The Raiders had like 3 or 4 guys play the LG spot during the season. They even got to one point where they moved their RT Khalif Barnes to LG who ended up playing decent but he is not somone who I want there full time. With Veldheer at LT, Su'a-Filo at LG and Wisniewski at C that should help to create a very nice left side of the offensive line.

The Bills have an obvious need at RT so there is a good fit here. Richardson had a good year playing in a difficult conference. While there are questions about Richardson's consistency, he flashes at a dominant level at times so hopefully our coaching staff can bring that out. Richardson has the ability to play at both left and right tackle. He will make an excellent bookend with Cordy Glenn. Combined with our first round pick of Eric Ebron, these picks both serve to aid in the development of EJ Manuel.

Team needs a Tight End to replace Jermichael Finley. ASJ is a unique talent and Ted Thompson decides to jump on him and look for defensive help in the later rounds. I expect his stock to skyrocket after the combine.

The team's problems are not on offense. They need safety help...and may need corner help too if FA falls the wrong way this year.

Id rather them go with Bostick and a cheap FA over spending a 1st on a TE when there is a solid safety on the board who has been a ball hawk in his time at Bama.

Awesome value. If Baltimore had operated under the assumption that we resign Monroe, would not have traded up to get LOT Lewan and would have likely taken Richardson at my normal pick of 1.17.

Buts its not as if you are only ever going to need a single player and always draft that need.

They have needs at other positions (like RB) and you can see higher skilled/rated players sitting there.

And they have three 3rd round picks. Assume you will fill a couple needs, but take the long-term solutions, which are talent based.

I think he's a good one. I was hoping he'd fall to the Dolphins at 50, didn't happen. I saw 5 Tennessee games last year and he never looked bad in any. I read the CBS review on him and it says most of his faults are coachable. That's what I like to see with any football player. Technical issues can be fixable. Good pick IMO.

More reinforcements for the STL defensive weak link, the secondary. A top 3 safety, but one of the best nickel CBs in the nation, an increasingly important position. He would upgrade that position for the Rams. He could also be paired with the taller McDonald or Pryor if either were to be injured. Another tone setter like Robinson and Pryor, he reminds me of a combination of the Honey Badger, Bob Sanders and Antoine Winfield, and is one of the best pound-for-pound players and tacklers in the draft. He led one of the best defenses in the nation with 5 sacks, tied-first with 3 FFs and added 2 INTs, making plays all over the field. He is a former USA Today Defensive Player of the Year.

Fisher and Snead have doubled up on trouble positions several times already in just their first two drafts together. At WR (Quick and Givens), CB (Jenkins and Johnson) and RB (Pead and Richardson) for three starters in 2012, and WR again (Austin and Bailey) in 2013.

* Would have taken Van Noy if he lasted one more pick. Not sure how much STL will prioritize LB in the actual draft. With Laurinaitis and Ogletree, it is almost certain to be a two down position. Vet free agent starting OLB JoLonn Dunbar played for new DC Gregg Williams in NO and scheme familiarity could recommend his re-signing to a team friendly contract. Former Miami blue chip safety recruit Ray Ray Anderson was a UFA signing ST demon last year, is now up to 235 lbs. and might be in the process of being groomed as a future starting OLB.
