**SNF in NRG Stadium Lions at Texans** (+3.5, 49.0) (1 Viewer)

Great stuff there have barely gone to Laporta this year so it wasn’t the expected play. Proved last year how good he can be, nice to have that option in our locker that we have barely had to use so far this season

you up at 2am watching this lol?

I’m about to fly back from Dubai filming golf, 5.20am start here watching in airport before an early flight !! ( but yes I do usually stay up for this when in UK anyway )

How many chances is Stroud going to get to throw a TD and come up empty JFC
He misses Nico + our OC is so predictable it makes it even harder on CJ.

Watch, we’re the worst 2nd half offense. We need points now as we generally never adjust at the half and have to hang on for dear life.

Nice to see Vaki out there, even if it was just a big special teams tackle. Been holding him all year in a large bench dynasty league

He has the highest PFF grade on ST for the Lions

Not likely to unseat Reynolds this year but he is woefully inexperienced - just needs more time on task, if you add up college & preseason this year he’s had less than 125 Offensive snaps

Nice to see Metchie. Really think he should be the WR3 for them, but for whatever reason they like Hutchinson's size.

ETA: Because that's what happens when he's a featured target...ask Bryce Young.

Picked up Metchie in 15 leagues last week he scored 0 I cut Metchie in 15 leagues this week

Welp. Too many shades of the Baltimore game from last year.
Guess we'll see what fight the Lions have in the 2nd half.

Branch’s effort was suspect there. Don’t want to take a personal foul, but you’ve got to do better than that in the end zone.

They need to really get Amon-Ra going. If he's getting shut down, they aren't coming back, because the other guys are just ancillary types.

Same here. Probably not prudent anymore since Montgomery got extended. You’re basically hoping for an injury because he’s not going to beat out Gibbs and Monty.

Detroit with 114 yards of total offense

Goff 7/17 91 w/ 3 INT
ARSB 3 targets 2-22
team 23 yards rushing on 13 att

defense played OK until the last drive - stuffing the run, 2 sacks

the offense put the defense in too many bad situations & now the Texans get the ball first in the 2nd half

Texans are hitting Goff, deflecting his passes, and keeping him under constant pressure. The Lions OL is getting beat and not even opening up run lanes. Lions are not getting much pressure on CJ and he is eating them alive.

This is the most locked in the Texans have been all year and the kind of team I expected to see when the season started. Now just hoping they can turn the corner and carry some of that momentum to the 2nd half after the Lions inevitably make the necessary adjustments.

Yeah, if it wasn't deep bench I wouldn't bother as the extension for Monty (although deserved) certainly hurt.

The Texans have 151 yards, including 4 rushing.

That's hard to believe, but the Lions have smothered Mixon with 12 carries for 10 yards.

Stroud is 14 of 20 for 164 yards, 1 TD and a 111.2 rating.

Metchie stepped up with 4 catches, 65 yards and a 15 TD.

Dell has 4 for 30.

On the TD drive, the Lions had a semblance of a running game. Gibbs for 6, 3, and 5 before the TD to LaPorta. They're getting pressure without Will Anderson and his 8 sacks.
