Andre Johnson's late scratch when Williams and Berrian were already on bye, combined with Murphy and Branch getting shut down, killed my WR's. Ray Rice's knee and Chris Johnson's dud didn't help at RB. As long as Welker has a decent game, I should be ok, and if so, my uniqueness should increase significantly. The AJ/Chris Johnson/Rice/Murphy/Williams owners should be trimmed back this week. I'm afraid I might be in that trimmed back group if Welker underperforms like the rest of my WR's. The sim has me at 84% survival, down from around 99% before the games. If I make it, I'll have my studs Rodgers, Finley, Foster, and Welker to thank.

with all the stud definitions bouncing around, I would not list Foster as a stud. He was a value pick if viewing studs in the amount of $ a player cost.

In at around 140 with Brady still to go (minus D. Anderson's measly points). 100% chance of survival. Considering I had 7 players on a bye and two players out I'm pretty happy with this. I don't expect to make it through next week though with Anderson as my only healthy QB.

Swapped out Ben for Bradford/D Anderson combo. Anderson actually started for me one week, but something tells me he might not again this season...

I think Moss just had a bad game but yes your WR's suck. Mine do as well. Bad enough I had to use the 3.5 from Knox and 11 and change from Henderson. But like you the rest of my team is good and I put up 192 this week with some non WR's still playing and have not scored less than 182 this year. I won this thing last year with a poo poo platter at WR. Needed guys like Schilens and Earl Bennett to produce for me last year. Honestly, I didn't expect my squad to light it up this year. Just to put up enough collective scores to get me through. The only big regrets so far are Burleson and Garcon. That's about $22 I could have spent on a much better WR.

Looking at the roster, it looks like the only player they have left is the Dolphins (-2.0)
The distribution of 133 in all cases then jumping sharply to 170 as a top score is a bit odd. It's further strange since I would think that the odds of the Dolphins defense getting more than 2 points would be pretty high.
Just figured I'd point it out in case there's a bug in the Turkometer.

I view Foster as an anomaly, as he was clearly perceived as a "stud" by most of the entrants at the time of the contest entry deadline, despite his $13 price tag -- I don't think anyone else has ever been owned by over 75% of entrants, or anywhere close to that. He should have cost at least around twice as much, putting him in the stud range. He was obviously mispriced because the pricing structure was put in place weeks earlier. If Adrian Peterson were mistakenly listed at $13, and then most of the entrants rostered him, I would also consider him to be a stud despite the price tag.

I doubt that he was perceived as a stud by the entry deadline. What he was perceived as was a "must have" for the price. I didn't expect anything close to the production he has had but figured a $13 starting RB was a must that pretty much everyone would have on their roster. Anyone that says they had him tagged as a "stud" prior to the season starting is a loon or a liar IMO.
I got Foster in the 4th round of my ff draft just days before the season started. He certainly wasn't viewed as a universal stud then. He has become one since then.

In my starting lineup this week were Jordy Nelson and Louis Murphy.
Fortunately, I had Kyle Orton, Arian Foster, Ladainian, Tolbert, Brandon Pettigrew, Harry Douglas...
I basically had 6 guys score me in the 140's and just barely made it.
That's the kind of week I needed to have a shot. Got some byes out of the way.

It's all in the definition of "stud." I'm not saying anyone expected Foster to perform like he has so far, as the #1 RB by far (an "uber-stud"). Previous discussions of a "stud" here was about guys costing more than about $20-21. Most entrants thought he should have cost more than $20-21, and thus perceived him as a "stud" as previously discussed on this thread.

Foster would not be a stud under our definitions we were bouncing around in this thread. He was the cheapest starting RB out there, so a must have like mentioned above. He just is out performing his price so far, along with other players like LT. But it does not make them studs. Any rosters who had Foster as their 2nd RB would have been flawed in my view too. Since planning to rely on a potential boom or bust player for weekly points is a very risky move, especially in best ball in my view. He was the best looking #3 RB available though, thus many people picked him. ( though I figure many did pick him as their #2 RB... which pushed the percentage to such high amounts of ownership. but those will undoubtably be the teams falling off as the season progresses )
