The teams weak at RB that have been counting on Foster's production will be hurting. But overall I agree that it won't have a large effect.
Yeah the guys that will be hurt are the ones with week 5 bye guys. Dolphins, Patriots, Squawks, and Stillers.1520 out of 1770 CJ Spiller owners also have Foster - these are likely to get hit harder.1104 out of 1314 Thomas Jones owners also have Foster.278 guys have all 3.It'd be interesting to see the makeup of the 1392 non-Foster owners at this point.Funny thing is, even if every guy who gets eliminated this week has Foster, there still would be about 4700 out of 6100 entries left with him. That's 77% of the entries.-QG
Foster, Spiller & Barber for me. Had to use Spiller's points this week, but my WRs, Witten, Bironas and the Detroit D have me at 166, with Holmes, Berrian and VD (all-8.1) to go. Also looks like Big Ben is getting back just in time if Rodgers (my only other QB) is going to miss any time with his concussion.

Hoping the sim cut of high 120's is close, I'm currently at 126ish plus LT2/Santonio (-3.7 flex) tomorrow night. Looks like the Witten cover for Finley was a wise move, and DA's 0.3 may end up being critical for me. Hoping that some of the flops by the widely held guys along with some important bye players this week keep the numbers in check :hifive:

Sitting on 168 with san fran d and berrian who i dont expect to change things much. Fig that should be over the cut pretty good this week.

So far D.Will is killing me really gonna need him to do way better to have a chance. I was excited to make it to Big Ben coming back but with the way Rivers has been playing every week doubt I will even use him.

Good luck to everyone this week.

Rivers, Chris Johnson, Mike Williams(TB), Succop, and the Detroit Lions have pretty much saved my butt today. Sitting on about 157 right now with LT still to go but I have to imagine with Arian Foster not doing much todfay that the cut has to be pretty low. Actually I'm excited if we could shed a lot of Arian Foster and Austin Collie owners this week.

Hopefully 157 is well ahead of the cut, scores should be pretty low this week.

Scoring is way up in our FBG survivor league with almost identical scoring.

i'm a foster, collie, spiller, anderson, finley, hernandez owner. :lmao: :lmao:

Might have gotten by with NO qb's.

Team #1

Brady 0

Bradshaw 10.4

Spiller 3.9

Nicks 37.0

Austin 32.0

M.Williams 22.9

A.Johnson 14.5 (still have Moss who could add here)

Shiancoe ___? (J.Finley gave me a zero here)

J.Hanson 19.0

Tampa Bay 14.0

At 153.7 w/ Moss and Shiancoe that could add to it.

Brady 0

Bradshaw 10.4

Tolbert 10.5

Flyod 35.3

M.Williams 22.9

T.Owens 23.2

Calvin J. 15.4

Witten 21.9

J.Hanson 19.0

Saints 6.0 (SF +)

Total 164.6

Whew, hopefully i survived not having a qb this week.

Update on the :lmao: entry:

101289

Unofficially

91.3

QB - D Anderson 0.3

RB - Tolbert 10.5

RB - Bradshaw 10.4

WR - Wayne 13.5

WR - Henderson 10.1

WR - Driver 9.8

TE - Gates 22.7

Flex - Ocho 5.0

PK - Prater 6.0

TD - Baltimore 3.0

He has Gore, Moss and SF Defense left.

The math is tricky with the flex but it figures to be Gore - 5.0 and Moss minus 9.8 and San Francisco -3.0

Could be a close call for him.

The sim has gotta be wrong.
Read the rule book fine print:
Code:
...in the likely event entry 101289 should fall below the cut line due to a small roster size, the line moves to .05 below said entry's score for the week...

21 kicker guy is amazing

Pretty awful week for me. Taking 3.9 and 3.7 at RB. 4 WRs injured or on bye, and also had Mark Clayton and Jermichael Finley.

Yet, somehow, I can survive if Kevin Kolb throws a couple more TDs.

Mike Williams, (22.9 stud) Louis Murphy (8 -i'll take it at 3WR) G.Camarillo (tbd)TE: VD (stud 23.9) and Schianco (TBD: probably flex)K: M. Bryant (8) Nedney (dud) Team D: Lions (Stud 19.0) 49ers (Dud) Rams (dud)

Thing is, in the survivor league every player is owned exactly once. While just over 80% of the entries have Foster in the contest, only 8.3% have him in the survivor league. Not sure that just because scoring is up there it'll necessarily carry over.-QG

Seems there are a great number of teams with Brady, Roethlisberger and Schaub in some combo (toss in D. Anderson for good measure, and then add A. Foster and Finley to a bunch of them) . These teams are in dire straits It was a perfect storm - Week 5 bye, under-performance and the injuries. I noticed a shedload of teams with the Brady/Schaub or Roeth/Schaub combo. A.Foster and Finley are just a given for teams still standing. Its going to be a tough cut if they didnt have Hanson and DET D as a buffer.

By ny unofficial calculations I'm at 167+. Onto next week but that Clayton loss hurts a lot. Hopefully some Foster owners get cleared out after this weeks dud.
Foster is gonna be a fact of life for the rest of the contest. Every elimination for this week and 3 after it could be a Foster owner and he's still be on over 1/2 the rosters :lmao: In a funny way you're almost better off (if you don't have Foster) to hope the other non-Foster guys go by the wayside and that you'll be more unique (and hope that Foster somehow tanks more consistently down the line).-QG

You might be right. I was thinking along the lines of1295 Det D owners495 Phil D owners (only 37 with both)270 or so Ari D (33 also have Det)That's about 2000 people hanging a 20 spot + just at D. Will be some big kicker scores too.

Dear Michael Crabtree: Welcome to the stat line.

155 and done. After the afternoon games I fully expected to be heading home this week, based on Crabtree's dismal start and the uncertainty of LeSean McCoy.

Of the 1251 teams that started with Crabtree on their rosters, only 544 remain (43.49% survival rate).

Add in my other top under-performing WR (Colston), and only 12 of the original 44 teams with this WR combo are still alive (27.27% survival).

Would be nice if these two could both consistently step it up in the upcoming weeks.

Pre-MNF sim. The cut will almost certainly be in the mid-to-high 120s.
I'm officially eliminated at 112.Horrible week for me in all football related contests. Eliminated in my survival pool by my "cute" pick of the Bengals.....knocked out of the subscriber contest after a horrible trifecta from Schaub, Foster & Finley....lost in my IDP dynasty league when my defensive guys laid a complete egg across the board...lost in my 10-teamer thanks to Finley & Foster.

At least now I'll find more time to work on more important things in life. Good luck everyone.

Come on; you know you're rooting for me.Piece of cake; Moss is good for 3 TDs against the Jets and Revis.
Your bravery in the face of the Turk is admirable, but he is not one to flinch.3.5% according to the Turkomatic.Good luck. All hail the Turk! -QG
You don't tug on Superman's cape; You don't spit into the wind; You don't pull the mask of the old Lone Ranger; And you don't mess around with Turk.

CJ Spiller and his mighty 3.9 add him to the list of players I have used.

Bironas also debuts for me with his much more respectable 15.0.

Assuming Berrian continues his stellar play and doesn't beat 14.4 I will be down to 4 out of 26 players I haven't used:

Stafford, Derek Anderson, Bernard Scott, and Berrian.

Moving along with help from Floyd, Mike Williams, and the Lions D. Hopefully thinning some Schaub/Foster/Finley owners. Get Ben back next week too.

Luckily got through my biggest bye week issues this week. Quantity issues will no longer be a problem, it's the quality I'm worried about :bs:

Not all the Spiller/Foster entries will be eliminated. I have them and also Mathews among my 4 RBs. Throw in Roethlisberger and Clayton and that put some pressure on my other 13 roster spots. I have 206.55 this week. No skill, just a lucky confluence of events. But that is exactly what will be needed during the playoffs. Large rosters may have a better chance of survival to the playoffs, but small rosters full of studs may end up doing well.

Unbelievably it looks like I'm going to survive. Sitting at 131.2 with LT (-3.9). With .3 from my QB position and Foster, Barber, Spiller, Knox, Robinson, Chambers and Branch all on my roster I thought I was dead but Floyd, Jason Hanson and Winslow came through for me.

Shaub - 8.7

CJ - 25.7

D-Williams - 7.4

Foster - 3.7

Gaffney - 17.7

Murphy - 8.1

Henderson - 9.9

Celek - 15.2

Hanson - 19

Buccaneers - 20

135.40 - if I manage to survive this week, I will be shocked. Riding my Defense and Kicker for the second week in a row...

19 player roster and Foster/Finley owner here, I'll easily make the cut at 172. It helps that I have V. Davis as my other TE, as well as Gore and Charles at RB.

Sim says I'm 100% moving on.

I have no idea how...

Stafford and Bradford as my QBs

RBs are Best, Matthews, Foster, and Leon

:deadhorse:

Finley and Clayton owner too...

I'm sitting at 119 points with LT and Camarillo remaining. Camarillo's points will get used if he scores anything higher than 5.

I'm hopeful to squeeze by, but if LT gets 80 or 90 yards and no td's tonight, I'll be squirming.
