514s are great for everyday use. and #### tapered jeans. sorry, that's just horrible.

I walked by last week and saw they had 40% off everything in the store so I tried on their "Photographer" pants, liked them and bought 2 pairs. I wore a pair today and they feel great. One problem. The zipper length/penis access opening is rather small. As FBGs, we need a longer zipper that will allow us plenty of room to move our lengthy member around in the restroom. Just something to think about if you're considering purchasing Express pants.
I have a pair from there and have the exact same problem. Fit great, but I have to unbutton and drop them down to take a whiz.

I prefer the "Producer" pant to the "Photographer" pant. In both cases, however, the pant is supposed to sit at your hips, not your waist. This may account for your fly problem.EYLive said:FYI I'm not sure how many of you shop at Express (the men's side, but I don't judge). They do sit at my hip. The cut of these pants are kind of low rise so there's a limit to how high you can wear them anyway.I prefer the "Producer" pant to the "Photographer" pant. I tried the "Producer" pants and they were a bit wide around my calf, but they felt nice too.

Always tuck with a sports coat. It will look like you spent the night on someone's couch if you don't.Quick "tuck" question. Will be going with a brown sports jacket, jeans and button down cotton shirt this weekend: I've been buying shirts as short as I can find them so as not to end up wearing a "skirt" when not tucking. Noticing more tuckage lately with the jacket/jeans combo. What say you? Tuck or no tuck and any conditions...

With a sport coat, you tuck in as mentioned. Without, I don't think it is a hard and fast rule. Depends how you want to come off looking. As you mention, most of the dressier dress shirts are much longer so if you wear them I'd probably tuck in as very few if any look great with the giant tail. But some of the more casual shirts are the shorter ones and they don't require you to tuck and in fact, will probably just have you retucking all night as they come undone.glock said:And with no jacket? Ok, if you are, in fact, slim. What's the current stance on slim fit shirts?
All depends on the shirt. I wear the Joseph A Banks dress shirts and buy their slim fit. I'm not slim by any means but their regular ones balloon out too much. What's the current stance on slim fit shirts?

True. But you're also thinking of the Brett Favre/Dale Earnhart "W" stitched pocket jeans. Those are the most 'well known' Wrangler jean, but I guarantee you that they have styles within your price range that are more fashionable than Levi. You might be a bit biased.Yes. (Full disclosure. I'm 6'4" 280. I have Ermenegildo Zegna, Hugo Boss and Brooks Brothers suits all which fits nicely through the legs (my thighs are also big). I RARELY will find anything at off 5th or Last Call that works for a fella of my stature, usually am in there once a month or so (with the wife). Every now and then something will fall into those places but not too often down here.So I'm starting to diversify my suits a bit as I'm getting older and have someand while I took some of the recommendations from here about Saks Off 5th and others but the problem I ran into was my Adrian Peterson thighs. Chances are they were raw denim. You can't hem raw denim jeans until after they're washed for the first time, and you're not supposed to wash them for a good six months. When are some of you girls going to start wearing the rolled up jean pant cuff look? It's the only way to go if you have the body type to pull it off. If the buttons don't "pull" you're good. What's the current stance on slim fit shirts?
Yep, this is ridiculous. If the atmosphere is casual enough to wear shorts than it's casual enough to not have to tuck your shirt. If you feel like you absolutely need to tuck, than put some pants on. Tucking anything into shorts and you look like a dweeb.I can't believe anybody really tucks their shirt into shorts. Maybe a french nancyboy rollicking in the countryside. Big wtf

This is a good rule for all button down type shirts. If any part of the bottom of your shirt doesn't go past mid-junk or mid-butt (roughly same place that a sport coat/suit jacket should hit) it's OK to wear untucked.
Only time I tuck button down shirts is if I'm wearing dress pants. And you NEVER tuck polos.

I personally tuck more often that not. I go by another rule of thumb, essentially: If your tucked shirt would dislodge itself from normal body movement, it might as well start untucked. If it would stay in reliably, tuck it in.

i like the beige better. kind of depends on your look though, right? so factor in hair color and length? complexion? height?naomi said:Alright... you guys helped me pick out a dress for a wedding last year so I figure I'll throw this one your way too. This is just a dress for fun (probably wear it mostly in fall and winter with tights).
I'm stuck between getting it in black or beige (not interested in the leapord print). I like how the details like the buttons stand out more with the beige but black is generally slightly more flattering skin tone wise for me (some beiges have a nice sophisticated effect, some tend toward washing me out, it's a gamble).
