The Inauguration (1 Viewer)

On this.....   It was something enacted like ten days ago and was to go in effect next Friday the 27th.  FHA mortgage insurance was being reduced by 0.25%.

I have a buyer client that was scheduled to close on the Monday the 23rd, but last week the lender told them about this and we asked for an extension to Friday so they could get the lower insurance/payment.  The seller drove my buyers crazy by taking five days to sign the extension and we got it yesterday.  And now today he lost the reduction.  He was posting all day on FB today for Trump LOL.  His payment was going down about $40/mo on a $173k home.

To me, it looks like more of a political play by Obama. Rates are still very low, so there's no need to do this and take money out of the insurance account, even if some say the account has enough now.

Since this was just enacted about 10 days ago, it's not really going to affect anyone, unless they applied in the last four days and they are right at their max loan level.
Yeah whats 40 dollars over 30 years of monthly payments? Just a pittance. A mere 14k. Heck you can barely pay for a year of college with that so why bother?

Reasonable people can disagree on the program but it is simply fact based that this action made it more expensive to buy, or for the semantically driven, finance a home than it would be otherwise. Which was my whole statement.

Yeah I don't care what she has to say.  Ivanka is basically gonna be the first lady, I think Melania is gonna be out of the picture mostly.  But when she's in the picture, she fills it up nicely.
I find her extremely masculine jaw line distracting. And really I don't find her very attractive.

That's not really what a community organizer necessarily is.

Thought Geraldo was going to jerk off looking at Melania the way he was gushing over her.

Speaking of guys that should be put to sleep...

#### that guy, he ####ed up a few days for me in Afghanistan with his bull#### cowboy crap.  He's an awful person.

Even if he wasn't total garbage in his 70 years of private life (of course he was), he's still done literally dozens of things as a candidate, president-elect and now president that have had an impact on the country, in my opinion a negative one.  And people will and should talk about those things.

Would you have dropped discussion of Clintons email and Benghazi and whatnot if she had won?  Not to mention her Cabinet appointments and speeches and whatever else she did between election and inauguration? I think we both know the answer.
No you don't, because I never talked about either thing or really anything specific she did. I have always disliked democratic politics and positions in general. The Benghazi thing and email server, to me were just things. Things that I think probably could be found similarly on damn near everyone in similar positions.

Be careful when you generalize someone because sometimes you'll be wrong. Like this time.

Whatever was in that vault?
His ####ty over-rated career.  After causing me so much stress he asked me at the end of the detail if I wanted a picture with him "for my family?"  I think I responded, "uh, no thanks."  I seriously hate that guy.  Then the AP guy wanted to do the same ####, wandering off into the hills alone. ####!

Take you every day of the week and twice on Sunday.
I'd probably nuke Alexandria and expel Texas from the nation within hours. Drunk with power, I would assemble the first Presidential Harem by day 6, comprised entirely of young nubile pop singers, late-2000s porn stars, and Jennifer Connelly.  By week 4, every major religious icon on public grounds would be encased in a giant commemorative pet rock.

No it didn't.   TEN DAYS AGO it was exactly the same as it is now.

Like I said earlier, the ONLY people that could possibly be affected by this are some that applied and were approved this week.  The market simply did not need to risk the insurance pool that pays for bad loans. There a re more than enough qualified borrowers out there that can't find a home right now because inventory is so low.

90% of my business is about helping people get their first homes. I have over 250 people I'm helping build credit scores so they can qualify. I understand quite well what home ownership means to all of us alot better than most.

You're talking about taking the money from the insurance pool. Do you understand that?  If something goes bad again, the tax payers will be on the hook again.  This isn't money going to lenders.  Your comment above without reflecting on how it affects the insurance pool is the type of thinking that led to Clinton and Bush making it too easy to buy a home which led to the bubble bursting.  There are many high priced areas right now where it's possible to see a bubble burst. The Bay area is already showing some initial signs of it.

Is this supposed to be the bad stuff? Cause I'm totally in.

I can't believe anyone voted for this buffoon. I honestly can't think of a better word to describe him. A privileged, self important, bloated, egotistical buffoon. POTUS!

Lmfao

worst country ever
You can always leave and make it better. Just a thought.

Oh yeah the bubble is going to burst again and taxpayers will be on the hook again. Whether or not this change was made. Another bubble is inevitable as absolutely nothing was done to stop another one. And the point is it was going to get a bit cheaper to buy a house now it isn't. Which is what i said. I didn't argue the program. I made no pronouncements on the right or wrong of the FHA lowering the rate only that they were going to and now they aren't. So it will be more expensive for someone to buy a house in the coming year than it would have been. Fact.

What makes her attractive imo is her mind, grace, speaking ability, and her work to bring health and education more to the forefront, esp for our youth.
I still really want her to run for President in 2020. She has no experience, but that's out the window now. She is the most well known Democrat that is eligible to run, and the most liked.

I know she doesn't want it, but she also appears to be somebody who takes duty seriously. I'm pretty confident she would defeat Donald Trump- easily. I'm not so sure about anybody else.

I think Biden would have a good shot. I think he would have won had it not been for his son's death. I'll never believe that this election wasn't rigged somehow. Don't know how, but very suspicious that such a difference in pop vote that the lowest one ever on record would win.

She's a normal, intelligent person.  No reason for her to do that.

She seems like a good person. She seems very bright and passionate. Especially in comparison to Melania. But we were talking physically attractive and for me not so much.

No tim we aren't doing dynasties any more. No more Clintons or Obamas or Bushs for that matter. Given her husbands policies and her seeming support of them I have no desire for her to be in the White House.

Also no to Joe. I like Joe I really do. But there is a reason he has lost the presidential primaries twice and his voting record leaves something to be desired,

Well we disagree on Obama.

And as for the dynasty thing, who cares? Not me.

You should Tim. The idea of Washington not taking another term was partially the idea that power shouldn't be concentrated in one executive for that long. I am pretty sure he would have felt the same about their spouses. I know I do.
