The Inauguration (1 Viewer)

i know you think your analogy is cute and all and you might even believe it, but that's not why Trump won. Trump won because there are a great deal of Americans who are sick and tired of the left's agenda and for the first time, there was a guy saying what so many others felt and won not in spite of, but because of, his total disregard for political correctness. There are a lot of people who were and are tired of it.  So whatever that says about our country is what it says, but it's not liver vs. ####. It really is and was the left vs. the right. This country is deeply, deeply divided at its core and this election has cast a huge spotlight on that division.
This is the stupidest thing that I've seen this week, and considering the post-Inauguration press conference, that's really saying something.

Since when have protectionism / isolation and sucking Putin's #### been priorities of the "right?" Hillary was far closer to a traditional Republican this cycle than was Trump -- it's exactly why she couldn't get out the Democratic base and consequently lost.

Just absolutely unbelievable that people are so dim that they just look at the letter after a candidate's name without digging any deeper.

You guys realize no matter who wins you still have to go to work, pay bills, clean the house, and live life? Seriously, there is so much opportunity to be successful no matter who is in charge, don't use something you can't control become an excuse in life.   It's clear people just use these events as excuses for their personal failures.
Your entire post was garbage, but just to zoom in on this:  I have 2 friends that are chemists for the EPA.  We are all recent graduates and since they are new to their jobs, they are expecting to be downsized.  But hey, there's no reason for them to blame anyone but themselves for their failures, right?  ####### trumpkins, man.

Updating this post with another tidbit that I totally forgot about until this morning: Spicer was so despised in student government that he was nicknamed "Sean Sphincter" which he hated.

When the nickname appeared in the college newspaper, he went on the warpath about the First Amendment and tried to have various people hauled in front of the Judiciary Board of the school.  I also remember him talking about starting up his own opposition newspaper sometime after that.  He was a giant tool.
Great story

Coeur , you seem like a bright guy and I actually start buying into what you are saying and then you call those who disagree , dim, dumb , dullards etc.  and I'm completely turned off. Your message would be much more accepted or heard if you left those comments out.

:lmao:  this is awsome

Also, confirmed

I have a friend who works for the EPA and she said right after Trump was sworn in on Friday, her department was informed that any new contracts/projects are on hold effective immediately. She's expecting to get fired as well, and she's been there 10 years.

Hey maybe tone down the toolish cyber tough guy act? Not his fault you all work for an overreaching agency that needs to be downsized.

That sucks , but is it governments responsibility to provide jobs or create jobs ?

Best wishes to her, this really sucks for many good and smart people.

My mother was there. My mother-in-law was there.  My aunt and cousin were there. Many of my neighbors and good friends were there.  Some of our fellow FFA posters were there, presumably with their wives and daughters and mothers. We have some female posters and lurkers here who may have been there. That's who you're talking about in this passage.

I don't know if you were having a bad day when you posted this, but that would still be no excuse.  I've crossed the line here before, as have most people who post regularly, although usually not to this degree.  For the most part we double back and own up to our error in judgment.  Hopefully you'll do the same, because this is ####ing awful.
They get this line of thought from Rush Limbaugh. I've heard it so much it didn't phase me when I first read over it. Remember Sandra Fluke.

lol that's how you'll spin it... ok.

the park service reported FACTS about crowds. And trump through a tantrum.
It's also pretty funny that Trump is ordering others to exercise better judgment and more discretion in operating their Twitter accounts.

If I knew you wanted to have a conversation about this in good faith, I'd indulge you.  But considering your history of posts, there's no chance of that.  I really don't know what it would take to convince me either, so just continue to take your pot shots and I'll do the same.

I meant that in all sincerity.  Obviously the conservative line of thinking is if you reduce regulations, you open up an environment to create jobs..I'm not saying I agree with this move , but they seem to think it works .

While my views are different from yours unlike your crew I don't get my rocks off attacking and insulting people with different views if they act reasonable. Bad look.
My crew?

I merely pointed out the irony of your post. If that's an attack so be it.

Side note - one other weird or new trend from Trump is his recent tendency to bring a cheering section to his pressers. That happened at the conflict of interest presser and again yesterday at the CIA. He brings a band of staffers who cheer or applaud key punch lines.

Got that from his days in TV...

Amazing someone who spent two days claiming homeschooled kids get an inferior education to public school kids can call someone else stupid almost every day.  Chill out

It's still patently absurd to believe that a random person can do any job as effectively as a team of educated and experienced professionals.

His thin skinned ego is a pretty serious threat to our national security.

Yeah, maybe someone else can get into this.  I'm not going to.  No hard feelings DB.  We might occupy the same space here in the FFA, but we don't need to interact with each other.  It'll just devolve into insults and neither of us want more of that.

So insecure.

No problem..

Decided when I woke up that from now on I am going to try and keep things above the belt. Have a nice day.

You still show total ignorance and have no idea how any of this works but continue to insult people like you're an expert.  Seriously, you should lay off the insults of others Gump.

"A random person" is about as ignorant as it gets.  You should really educate yourself on how this works.  Or keep throwing out random insults and making a fool of yourself.  Your choice.
They absolutely are a bunch of random people drawn from the cross section of Americans as a whole in terms of education and experience, guy.

By far the #1 reason that people home school is religious objections to the material taught in other schools. By far. What does that say about what kind of education those kids are receiving?
