The Real Official wildcard game 2 *** Steeler Vs Bengals *** (6 Viewers)

Idk. I feel like the Brown hit wasn't as bad as people think. It did seem like an attempt at the ball in real time, but with Burficts history and anytime you make such solid contact with the head, you won't get any benefit of the doubt.
I didn't realize hitting someone with your shoulder was so bad.

Burfict made zero attempt at the ball. Watch the angle from the sideline. He lined him up

having seen the replay, the burfict hit was terrible. i thought he was running behind the play and brown dropped down into him, but that clearly wasn't the case.

still think the second penalty was bs

Enjoy your patty-cake flag "football" kids.
Why would anyone think that hit by Burfict should be legal?

Just dumb to even think that should be allowed.
I guess we were just all ####in insane for almost 100 years.
We were...when we didn't understand head injuries and their impact and former players all with CTE and dying younger than they should.

Add in multi million $$ lawsuits...and of course the NFL is not going to want to allow that.

Watch UFC if you want more violence.
I want to watch football. I don't enjoy grappling. I enjoy teams of people fighting to move the ball down the field. Not this offense fest where the defense is expected to just let a player go over the middle of the field and not hurt them. #### our stupid legal system that reduces all of us to the lowest common demonminaator and doesn't allow anyone to take any risks. Again, enjoy the patty-cake flag "football" and your superior morality for protecting players from themselves.
I like football too...and don't need head hunting to enjoy the game.

Today's legal system? Or a league that was hiding what they knew about head trauma.

I don't think you understand the issue whatsoever to keep talking like this...so I will just leave you to acting like a tough guy needing head hunting hits to enjoy a sport.

Ya know the incomplete pass to Brown was huge too. Not sure exact situation Pitt would have been in but they were still far enough outside of FG range. Just so ####### dumb, Burfict. Dumb dumb dumb

Time for Marvin to go.
A million times this. Eight years of this ####, and he doesn't even have control of his team.

I don't even know why I'm so upset, I'm not even a Bengals fan; but Jesus, I am tried of seeing games where the refs affect the outcome more than the players do.

If the receiver is considered defenseless and you hit them in the head/neck area, even if you don't lead with the helmet, there's no discretion. It's a flag in today's game. That was an easy call.

Love how Burfict is a thug but Shazier is Man of the year. #### all of you.
Really dude you are clueless just stop. Idioit
Learn how to spell check you buffoon. Both were completely illegal hits to the head.
Check the rules BUFFOON, shazier was a legal tackle.
Legal tackle or not (and it was borderline) bragging on the sideline about concussing another player is not exactly classy

You have to know the time and place where you are at. He thought it was week 18 and not Round 1 of the playoffs. When it is win or go home and you are winning with seconds left, you don't give it away.

In Madden, Burfict's awareness would be about 6/100. 95-97-84-6

I think Shazier gets fined, but he was tackling a runner in a a live game play. There is no penalty for helmet to helmet on a runner. His sideline actions clearly show he is a thug and a doosh, but it was legal. Burfict took Brown's head off after the play was done, clearly incomplete and that is a personal foul on a defenseless receiver. Hence the penalty. Both were correct calls by the refs, pure and simple.
Yep. Bernard wasn't defenseless, Brown was. End of the story per the current NFL rules.
Exactly. There was nothing wrong with Shazier's hit.

It wasn't borderline. Bernard was not defenseless, Shazier can go helmet to helmet all day long and it's not illegal.

I feel bad for the true Bengal fans. It's sad that people are trying to say the NFLs love for the Steelers somehow screwed Cincinnati. I think the saying goes, you can't fix stupid.

An attempt at the ball? His hands were at his waist. Was he trying to catch the ball with his ear-hole, and just happened to put his shoulder into Brown's head?

I think Primanti Brothers should send Pac Man and Burfict some sandwiches to ease the pain...

:lmao:

The Steelers controlled that game through three quaters, lost the momentum when Ben went down. They may well have won it without Pac Man's help, but it sure made it an easier field goal.

That seriously is the sweetest victory, aside from a SB , that I have ever witnessed.

All you had to do, if you're the BUNGLES, is not implode.

What do they do??

Implode like Chernobyl.

LOL. I cannot stop laughing.

Thank you Marvin, you've made my 2016!!!!

NFL refs tarnish this game.
Or players who can't control themselves.
That second flag was BS. No question about it

Same here...not really a Bengals fan, but live in an area where their games are on all the time and news in the paper everyday so I end up rooting for them most games. Lewis needs to go.

Why go for 2?

XP forces two TDs and two 2 point conversions
2 pointer forces three scores.
I get it at times...but given how the game has gone...forcing 2 TDs an having to go for 2 twice is almost as good really.
game is over. game was over when they kicked the 2nd fg. llllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllm

Someone is going to get f'd up next Pitt possession. Refs letting it get out of hand.
The refs have made some bad calls against Pittsburgh as well. And with the way McCarton has played, I don't think any sane person can say the refs dictated the outcome of this game.
haha. not so fast tho.

Did he bump the refs? Have not watched all the replays but appears he did...pretty easy 15.

Can't believe some of you are blaming the refs.

The Steelers were lost, and the Bengals gave them the game. Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of guys. I've hated Burfict ever since he was at Arizona State. That guy has never changed.

Pretty heroic of Big Ben to go Willis Reed in final minute- unfortunately that won't be remembered because of what took place.

Next week: Ben vs. Peyton: the GImpy Bowl!!
