I traded Reggie Bush for Anquan Boldin.

I had Bush as my RB3, but TBell as RB4 (and I hope Bell can hang on to the main RB in Denver).

My WRs were bad: R.Smith, T.Williamson, and Mi Clayton

Wow. You got arguably the best dynasty QB for two arguable "crapshoots". I wish I could pull that off in my league.

There were a few picks involved, nothing too substantial. I have P Manning and Rivers, Eli was expendable. My WR corp includes S Smith, Burress, D Jackson and a few others. I was not comfortable with injuries and Plax's attitude problems.

 
In a dynasty league I traded Maroney for Chad Johnson.

It's a start 2 RB/3 WR / 1ppr league and I already have Portis, Bush, Thomas Jones, Barber III, and Jerious Norwood.

So now my starting WRs are Darrell Jackson, Chad Johnson, and Torry Holt.

Will Maroney be fantasy gold for years to come? Probably. Did I give up future depth at RB? Probably. But, my modus operandi is always win now, and my WRs are scary.

Somehow I'm 0-4 but I can feel some wins coming.

 
Trade Caddy for Jennings.

I wanted so bad I was not thinking straight.

Counter part offered Branch for Caddy and I replied Caddy for Jennings, he accepted with in 1 min.

Than I told my self, "you just got screwed"

Picked MoMo off of waivers (roster restricted league) and sent him with ROY (to the SA owner) to get Fitz and Thomas Jones.

Starting lineup now Vick, Ronnie Brown, Portis, Wayne, Driver, Fitz, Nedney, Dallas D. Feeling good for the reast of the season.

I gave up J. Walker & J.Horn for Fitz & K-Rob. I then dropped K-Rob and picked up Colston thinking he seems to be the #1 option for WR now in NO.

I am 2-1 (Had a horrible week the 1st week, but had the top score week #2 and second high score week #3)

I may look to trade Dunn and/or LJ/Heap for another upgrade at maybe QB or WR.

I gave Willie Parker and Fitzgerald

I got Brett Favre and Steve Smith

I have RB depth and thought Smith will outperform Fitzgerald. I'm also wary of Willie's games against Baltimore including Week 15.

 
Was offered Gates, J.Jones, and MBIII for DeAngelo Williams and Ben Watson in my 12 team keep 3 league. Obviously, I accepted as quickly as possible.

This upgrades my starters to Brady, Tiki, SJax, DJax, Driver, Gates, Akers, Bengals D/ST. Now I have Dallas' backfield, Rhodes, and The Burner for RB depth. I also have Terry Glenn and Cotchery. Backup QB is Plummer.

 
dynasty....... traded culpepper and d. rhodes for Leftwich and J. Harrison.

Not too sure how I came out of that one.

I haven't seen anything out of Cpepp since 2004, and Rhodes is quickly working his way to the bench, and at best a guessing game of RBBC.

Funny, I own Plummer, Perry, Ward, and Turner...... in a 12 team Dynasty. I wouldn't do either of those deals.....but maybe I'm too proud. Funny, I don't even think that Jake's mom is proud of him lately.

I wanted to dump Rhodes for two weeks now. With good RB depth, I could afford to stash away Turner so I targeted him. The guy I traded with desperately needed RBs. I told him I needed WR help. He wasn't sold on Rhodes, but was willing to give up Horn with Williamson for Turner as the "throw in" trade to balance out the RBs and WRs (league roster requirements). The Vick/Favre thing was out of the blue due to his need for a bye-week replacement for Manning. I jumped on that.

I just turned down the 2nd deal. I see more long term upside for Smith than Plummer. I drafted Perry as a rookie and I just grew tired of waiting for his potential to outweigh him constantly being hurt.

I just turned down the 2nd deal. I see more long term upside for Smith than Plummer. I drafted Perry as a rookie and I just grew tired of waiting for his potential to outweigh him constantly being hurt.

yeah....imo...... I'd take Smith over Plummer, but I will still give Perry one more chance (just one ). We'll see if he can finally play up to his talent level.

2007 1st rounder from a good team

I figure Parker to Boldin is only a small step down from a points standpoint, plus Boldin should have a lot of years left (WR's last for a long time), and it gives me flexibility to start another RB (Dayne, M Morris, etc.).

And Leinart was huge for me--I have no great QB's or young QB's, and Leinart could be great soon.

The other guy already has E Manning so he didn't value Leinart as much as I did, and I'm guessing he liked Willie a little more than I do and/or worries more than I do about Boldin's injuries or prospects with a green QB.

Giving up Vick was tough because I think he is primed but I like my chances having the Cincy, Pitt and Denver running game locked up. Plus I can withstand a major injury because I have a valuable RB to deal. If DeAngelo breaks through I'm set. Someone picked up Kitna right after my trade which dissappointed me.

Redraft, PPR

Traded Rod Smith and Jerious Norwood for Mushin Muhammad. I had the depth on my bench and Muhammad becomes my WR3. I like Norwood long term but he was likely to never see my starting lineup this year.

I had planned on picking up Michael Robinson to back up Gore, but my opponent this week smartly beat me to him while my trade was being processed. I grabbed Leon Washington instead.

One of the teams in my league (keep 4) is loaded at WR but was extremely desperate for a RB this week (he had Fast Willie and Tiki both on a bye) so I made an offer and managed to deal McNair and Barlow while picking up Driver and Phillip Rivers. I'm pretty sure he would've done the deal just straight up Barlow-for-Driver, (otherwise the poor guy was stuck with grabbing somebody in the Kenny Watson/Musa Smith neighborhood off the waiver wire, in other words mailing in a loss this week) But I also like River's upside, so I put that on the table too, and I'm feeling pretty good about it from that angle too.

Believe it or not I think the trade just got a little betterfor me. The other owner threw in C. Benson. I already have T.Jones.I might be able to package Jones and Benson for an upgrade at RB, WR or QB.

The Why?I was 0-3 and needed to shake things up. I lost my first 2 games by 5pts or less due to plummer and not knowing who to start at RB.My RBs: Portis, Dunn, Deuce, RhodesMy WRs: TO, Driver, Mark Clayton, Givens, Gabriel, Reggie WilliamsPortis had a very good game, but don't forget it was against HOU. Everyone is running on HOU. I am worried about his shoulder and the fact that betts had 120-something yards vs Portis' 80-something. Rhodes is slowly losing more and more time to addai so I didn't think he would be a viable #4 RB for me much longer. The other owner countered by adding Driver and Stallworth to the trade.I wanted LT and figured it was a good sell high time for portis. LT has a fairly easy schedule after the next 2 weeks (BAL and PIT, then its pretty easy). As far as Im concerned he is the #1 fantasy RB and should continue to consistently produce 20+ pts a game. When the other owner countered by adding driver & stallworth to the trade it made it more difficult. I think both recievers are at about the same level, but driver does not have the hamstring injury. Tynes was a throw-in to offset roster size.Deciding who came out on top with this trade is hard. It depends on alot of things. Does addai get hurt and all of a sudden rhodes is getting all the touches in IND? Does portis become the top 5 back everyone thought he would be? Does the injury to stallworth linger? I don't think we will know until the end of the season.

Apologies -- the why:I have LT2 and Westbrook as well. My WRs were Fitz / Jennings / and crap.I traded some RB depth for an upgrade at WR and a potential starting RB in the future.We start 1 RB, 2 WR, and 2 flex RB/WR. So, I can potentially start LT2/Westbrook/Lamont Jordan/Fitz/TO if these guys get their acts together.

I'm strong at WR but incredibly weak at RB. (T Jones, Dillon, J Lewis, F Taylor) No one would take Jamal except this team - I didn't really want Edge, but knew another team that liked Edge, was disappointed in Ronnie Brown and nervous about Boldin with a rookie QB...

I then traded Edge, Jennings & Fred Taylor

for Ronnie Brown, Anquan Boldin & Brandon Jacobs

The team with Ronnie Brown had Dunn on a bye and no RB to replace him, so I offered up Taylor. I also knew they were high on Jennings.

Net loss: Torry Holt, Jamal Lewis, Fred Taylor, Greg Jennings

Net gains: Plaxico Burress, Anquan Boldin, Ronnie Brown (& Brandon Jacobs)

why?: I had DL depth with strahan, grant, laboy, and bryan thomas. I needed help at LB. The other guy was strong at LB but desperately needed DL help. I feel we both filled needs with depth but that I got the bigger upgrade.

why?: I desperately needed QB help. Went into the season with big ben and then alot of guys with "shots" to make it. Like Griese and Josh McCown. Guys that looked like they would be starting by week 3. I picked up Huard off waivers and started him last week. As you can see, my QB situation was more than bad, it was pretty dang ugly. Witten was depth for me at best. I also had Gates and Wiggins at TE. So witten would only start for me on gates bye (which he did). The other guy had bulger and warner and needed help at TE with mcmichael, eric johnson, and troupe.

why?: Huard would probly not start for me again. Since I had picked up brunell (from the same owner) I will be starting him this week against NYG. After this week Huard plays PIT and then SDC. After that Green will probly be back. I could also use the WR depth. I have a mess after my top 2 guys , Djax & Walker, I have rod smith, randle el, matt jones, and josh reed. Engram gives me a fair #4 WR.

why?: I picked up morris on waivers and was not going to start him. Mainly I wanted trade bait. So I vastly upgraded my TE imo and got a RB in MB3 that could be a great player down the stretch if jones gets hurt. To cover shockey in the bye, I picked up wrigster to cover for that week.

 
Actually I made this deal last week:

Gave T.Jones, Maroney, & Henry

Got McGahee, A.Bryant & Atrain

I already had LT & C.Taylor at rb, thought McGahee would be perfect #3 back, plus the deal settled my #3 wr for me.

Like I said, made the deal last week before Maroney & Jones went off, needless to say I am :wall: about now.........

A guppy in my redraft league had Moroney, Dillon, Bryson, and Gado for RB, and 7 WRs. I was able to trade him Joe Addai for Chad Johnson. :pirate:

This is the second time CJ has changed owners this year- the guppy got him for TJones, and I sensed he regretted it- he didn't start CJ against me in week 4.

 
12 team redraft. Just traded Morency to the Ahman Green owner for Joey Galloway. He needed RB and I needed a WR w/ good week 7 matchup to cover byes. I had picked Morency up off waivers over the weekend to cover Monday night game (in case Westbrook couldn't go.... whew).

Morency for Galloway? OyI traded Burress and Morency away for Galloway and McGahee.Also traded Caddy Williams/L. Jordan/I. Bruce for Housh/Chambers/McAllister. I'm tired of hearing about the Oakland/TB disasters and Caddy's Mystery Injury.
