Actually, the deal is great for me. Brees is a great QB. People were saying the same things about Brees last year that they are saying about Palmer this year. As for this year, it has solidified my team and upgraded me significantly. Palmer is good...but there are always good fantasy QBs. Favre, for all his mistakes, is a great fantasy QB this year. I'm not worried. I got Palmer for a 7th rounder right before the draft and I can get someone else for just the same.

Just traded Portis and Tynes for S. Davis and K. Curtis in a 10 team redraft league. I've got E.James, R.Johnson, and L.Johnson, with S.Davis now added to the stable. Curtis joins Moulds, Galloway,DJ (inj), Jurevicious, and Chatman.Working on a deal with CPep owner at the moment.

One keeper league, 12 teams, 16 player balanced rosters.I traded: J. JonesJ. WittenM. Hasselbeck (I have Peyton)forD. DavisA. GatesQB trash (I picked up trashy-ish Brooks)I love this trade, as long as Manning doesn't get hurt. I had lost faith in Julius, both as a viable #1 RB this year, and as a very strong keeper candidate next year. The other guy loves Julius, and probably isn't as focused on the current Cowboys RB situation. Gates carried me to the points victory this week.

Redraft. No PPR. I traded RMoss for Palmer.I had Moss last year and got burned with all of the decoy b.s.I'm not messing with it this year.Palmer replaces Plummer.

My trade made last Friday , 12 team redraft:Traded, Caddy and Harrison for F.Taylor and T.O. My thinking was that since our Super Bowl is week 17, that T.O. would probably still be playing while Harrison may be benched 2nd half cuz of Colts having their spot wrapped up. Was also sick of all the Caddy injury stuff and liked Taylor's schedule rest of the way.

Traded Galloway and Duckett for M Moore and Burleson.I had S Jackson on a bye and needed a RB. Have Engram and Bruce coming back this week and next so I could spare a WR. While I am undecided as to Galloway's future, I think his value is as high as it will be.

When plummer steps up his game ... he gets bumped?

I just traded away CMartin and Antonio Chatman for Rudi Johnson and Antonio Bryant.CMart was on my bench most of the weeks this year, behind TJones, KJones, CPortis and MMoore. Rudi brings a little more spark than CMart.Antonio Chatman was a filler for the last two weeks, Bryant is nothing more than a backup on my team for now behind DEngram, JJurevicous, IBruce, MHarrison and either Wilford or Bryant Johnson.

The trade was completed friday. due to league veto rules, it had a 2 day waiting period. so it went through today (first day that rosters are unfrozen).Regardless, Plummer has obviously been much more of a roller coaster ride week to week than Palmer. 5 pts? 40 pts? who knows. I'll stick with the #1 QB in my point system instead.

And the past Sunday makes Plummer good trade bait.

he gave: Fred taylor & GonzoI gave: Warrick DUnn & Rod SmithI did this trade cause I feel Taylor will have a better run down the stretch as well as Gonzo (who is coming around)TD league with bonush yardage

?? You appear to have him and Favre mixed up. Before this past Sunday he's been very consistent. Hardly great but consistent.I traded backup kickers last week :wild:

I suppose you could make a case for him being consistent, minus the first two games. Or you could say that almost 1/3 of his points came in one game. Either way, his trade value is at a high and I am trying to move him.

PPR dynasty league, traded Rod Smith and Reshard Lee for Frank Gore and a pick around #25.As for "Why?" - basically I'm reloading the team, willing to take a hit this year, although I'm still winning the division, in order to build the future. I have a nice mix of old production and youth, which allows me to move Rod Smith. He's a top 20 WR, but I really don't know how much longer he can keep it up.Gore isn't a guy I like too much, but he has some potential and Barlow is terrible. The 2nd should land one of the top LBs - perhaps AJ Hawk, or a prospect QB/WR.

One team in my league has a number of players on their Bye week - this week He also has a few injuries (on a poor team) and was short starters this week. So I traded a few players off of my bench for this deal I get ....Steve Jackson - and give .... Brian Westbrook and Derick Mason Now that gives me at RB: Alexander Tiki Barber Steve Jackson Willie Parker

Dynasty league - could keep 3 and can start 3 rb's so they are trhe premiumI had Culpepper and no one else, and cause I am 7-1 there was no way I would be able to get BJ, my 2nd qb was GrieseI trade Boldin, Cpep, and Caddy for Dunn, M Harrison, and Hasslebach ,a nd his 2nd rounderI needed a qb, and Iwill be proeceting Lamont for sure, after that it's tough FWPDeshaunWarrick DunnBarlowGoreSteve smiithSantana2 out of this groupI look good to win this year with the best record, a good qb, and I feel Warrick Dunn will be equal or better than Caddy for the rest of the season so it's not really a dwongrade (Yet)

Just traded:MBIII & Deion BranchforJoe Horn & Dominick RhodesI felt that I needed a 3rd wr (Holt, R. Moss, Horn, Jurevicious, Hakim & Gonzo - start 2 wr + 1 te or 3 wr)Have: Edge, Thomas Jones, Fred Taylor, Rhodes, Mike Anderson

12 team dynasty league, start 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 flexTraded Stephen Davis for Andre JohnsonHurts my RBs this year as I'm left with only Jordan, TJones, Barlow, and Foster who get significant playing time, but I needed a WR2 behind Burress... I'm stuck starting Bryant, Clayton, or Moose right now, so I have to hope Andre can have a big 2nd half. He's got some nice matchups, and hopefully a great future.

Traded A Brooks for S Davis - will get Bulger back (hopefully) next week and needed RB help after losing Deuce and with J Jones hurt

Let me get this straight!!! You Traded an injured recv? and injured QB on IR and a rook RB stagnating on a team (strugging Offence, potentially splitting duties with pittman) for

A top 10 RB

A top 10 WR

A top 10 QB and a second round pick? ? ? ?

And you are 7-1 with culpepper and griese, barlow and gore?

I am not buying it !!

This past Tuesday, I traded Reuben Droughns and Adam Vinitieri for Ricky Williams and Kurt Warner. My other QB (besides J McCown) was D Culpepper. My team is pretty strong at every other position, so I was willing to ride it out the rest of the year with the Arizona QB. It's a good thing too, because this was a day or two BEFORE Warner was named the starter this week.

Traded Barlow & C. Brown for L. Evans & J. Jones. The other owner only had one RB this week due to byes & injuries. I hope JJ is healthy down the wire and doesn't lose to many carries to Barber.

In a 10 team keeper(keep 8 max) over the past three days I've made the following trades:Traded Galloway for a second rounder in 2006.Traded 2nd round pick in 2006 for Andre Johnson.Traded Antowain Smith for conditional pick in 2007.In the first two trades I basically moved up about 6 spots in the draft while swapping Galloway for Johnson.

just traded Fred Taylor and Joe Jur for Willis McGahee and Drew Bennett.Kills me this week, as i get 2 guys not playing but I think it will hep me in the end

Twelve team, keep four leauge.Sent Santana Moss packing for Tiki and McMichael. Tossed Wiggins to the FA heap.

Traded Steve Smith for FWP and Jimmy Smith. Needed RB depth (only starters were Kev. Jones and CuMart). Plus, JSmith's remaining schedule is laughable, and FWP plays Minn and Cle in wks 15&16.

ppr keeper/dynasty hybrid traded Channing Crowder (four year contract) , Darrell Jackson, Michael Bennett and a mid fifth rd pick for Chris Brown, Takeo Spikes, Shelton Quarles and a low 2nd rounder

In a keeper league: I traded Vick & Plaxico for Hasselbeck & Reggie Wayne. Hasselbeck is a major upgrade at QB as Vick was my best option and I don't think Wayne is too much of a dropoff from Burress.

Traded Mike Anderson and Cadillac for McGahee. Will go into effect Week 10. I was content with what I had but the McGahee owner was in desparate need of a #2 RB.

LJ, Tony Fisher, Garcia, and Jimmy Smith for Brees, Jamal Lewis, T.Henry, and Rod Smith in redraft.Hated to trade LJ, but I have no good QB options and HAD to have Brees, Jimmy and Rod swap was to get around bye week issue this week.

Traded for Gates yesterday with the Culpepper owner. I'm now built for a back-to-back Championship run.Gates and BennettforCollins, Driver, LJ and Stevens.12-team redraft. My Team:QB: Palmer, Collins, BrunellRB: LT, Westbrook, Jones, LJWR: Harrison, Driver, Galloway, ChambersTE: Cooley StevensHis Team:QB: Orton, FrerotteRB: S.Davis, W.Parker, M.Anderson, T.FisherWR: J.Smith, J.Jurevicius, D.Bennett, K.Colbert, B.Lloyd, T.TaylorTE: A.Gates, J.PutzierI know I gave up a lot, but Collins, LJ and Stevens were riding my bench anyway. My contention was giving up Driver, but he'll be seeing a lot of doubles from here on out with Walker and Green already out and Ferguson, Chatman and Fisher hurting.

Those that traded FOR T.O. before the suspension news, how are you feeling about it?
You have to be joking. Show me someone who is ok with it and I'll show you someone without a pulse. :fishing:

Traded Steve Smith for FWP and Jimmy Smith. Needed RB depth (only starters were Kev. Jones and CuMart). Plus, JSmith's remaining schedule is laughable, and FWP plays Minn and Cle in wks 15&16.
**Quick update...this trade was vetoed.

Why in God's name was that vetoed?

Which side did the vetoers think got the better of the deal? I guess you are "stuck" w/ Smith for another week.

Yesterday I traded Cris Perry (and SD Def-filler) for Jax Def and Carr (Who I dropped for Warner)The key for me was Jax D. Have Denver as well, but Jags schedule meshes perfectly w/Denver the rest of the year-Jax primarily. The other owner was in huge need of a RB, while Perry was my #5. Feeling good.
