so i know everyone wants to say tiger bak and will win every major again if he just fixes his drive but brohans look what if he keeps driving like that but does not have the insane scamble game he had today heck with those drives if he is even just normal scrambling he has a horrible round today so look all i am saying is keep the expectations reasonable take that to the bank brohans

I am celebrating a great career.
In my mind the best golfer of all time - even if injuries and whores cost him the longevity of Jack. Tiger was a better golfer at his peak.
But its over. Nothing wrong in acknowledging that.

Sinn is fishing now. But this is a classic forum maneuver. He really believed in that last tourney when there was a lengthy debate about whether Tiger was "in the hunt" (he clearly was). When that went south for him, he made the perfect pivot to jk I was just shticking all along.

To be in the hunt you have to have a chance to win. Tiger had no chance. I think deep down you realize that. Holding onto the past is a dangerous thing. Let it go. Live in the present.
Nobody begrudges Tiger's amazing career - I have already said - no shtick - I think he was the best golfer ever. But, its over. Its been over, but people keep holding onto the dream. Its not healthy.

Tiger was the betting favorite for a short period at the British Open, albeit not odds-on. He was never the favorite today, but got down to 3-1 on Bovada at one point.
I guess if one wants to cling to the fact that Tiger hasn't been an odds-on favorite at any point in time of the last two majors, well, I guess that's something. Not sure what the significance of it is, but yeah, it's true.
