In twenty years, you will look back at this point, and say this was the start of the downfall.

no different than any other year...I don't have Peterson, or Rice if that is what you are asking.

10 years from now, you'll look back to this era, and remember how the NFL used to be on top.

Look at all the complaints the NFL is dealing with - personal conduct of players, PED usage by players, recreational drug usage, an owner accused of sexual assault, a commissioner that nobody trusts, so many rules now that almost every play has a flag, big hits are going away, it will be no-contact soon enough, games are dragging on, etc.

laugh all you want, but the NFL is on the down side of its popularity. just as baseball is seeing the average age of its viewers get perilously close to retirement age, the NFL will see a sharper drop off.

So the "NFL" needs to clean up the law breakers................but not the, ya know, the legal system?  Interesting stance.

The biggest threat to the NFL is fantasy football.  If fantasy football somehow lost a ton of its popularity, then the NFL would lose a crapton of money.
