***TNF on Prime Video - Bucs at Bills*** (-9.5/43.5) 8:15 (1 Viewer)

FF Angle

QB-Allen is an easy automatic
RB-No way you can play White right now, James Cook is coming off about 100 total yds, TD, 3 catches, previous 2 games were pretty below average.
WR-Godwin and Evans both in play, Diggs auto but Gabe Davis is off the heater from earlier when he had 4 games in a row with a TD.
TE-Rookie looks good for Buffalo and Knox is OUT
Many will play the Bills Def/ST

FPI has Buffalo at 83% to win this game
If you haven't used them yet in Survivor format, many got burned last week and that could scare some off this week
Seems like a major upset if Baker marches them into Orchard Park and orchestrates a win.
If Buffalo were to drop to 4-4, alarm bells are going to start going off.

Dalton Kincaid - 8 targets last week, 8/75 on the afternoon
Easy waiver wire grab for leagues where he was available and it was a lot with such a slow start.
High powered offense and with Knox undergoing wrist surgery, he may have the job to himself fora while.

Kincaid could slide into a TE1 upside quickly if Buffalo starts clicking on offense, Allen has been at or on Top most of the FF season.
Could be a huge find/steal going into the 2nd Half of the season.

Bucs are 10th overall in TE points allowed so this won't be an easy start if you do play him.

Not a fan of either team, so I will be watching strictly for fantasy purposes. Between the FBG Subscriber Contest and my 2 redraft leagues, I will be rooting for Cook, Diggs, Evans, and Kincaid. And as for Rachaad White, I would surely start him if he were my normal starter. Sure, the BUF D has faced a few strong RB's, but they currently rank 31st in YPC behind only DEN.

BUF 27 BUCS 17.

TB is struggling to score points, averaging 17 per game. They have talent at WR, an average oline, with 1 stud. The limitations are Mayfield and the running attack. Rachaad is a good receiver, but not a good between the tackles runner. The TB defense will not be able to contain Allen.

TB may struggle to score points, but Josh Allen is a turnover machine. The past three games he's thrown 1 INT to 2 TDs, with the best defense he's faced at 16th in PA, the other two near the bottom of the league. BUF only managed to score 14 points against NYG with Tyrod Taylor at QB, NYG defense is 23rd in PA, and Allen still threw an INT against that. This wouldn't be a hard game to pick if it weren't Josh Allen at QB. Not the way he's been playing over the past three games.

Teams have been running on Buffalo. Tampa can't run.
Tampa has been struggling on offense. Buffalo has been struggling on offense.
Tampa on the road on a short week off a home loss. Buffalo at home on a short week of a road loss.
Baker started hot,has cooled down. Josh just hasn't looked right lately.
IF Josh and Buffalo limit the turnovers I think they win easily.
I'll say they make one or two but still win...

Bills- 30
Bucs- 17

Buffalo at home, a lock.

Buffalo on the road, stay away.

With Purdy out… I’m forced to start Baker tonight in SuperFlex.

So I’m hopeful for fireworks.

But fear the obvious dud.

It’s not ideal, but I guess I have something to cheer for tonight.

TB did a good job vs. LaPorta

Pretty sure Sam was hurt, but LaVonte David is an exceptional coverage LB. He shadowed LaPorta in that game. TE's usually tear them up though because Devin White just runs around covering grass.

Trust me -- the alarm bells are currently ringing loud and clear. This team has been flat-out terrible the last three weeks, and the playoffs are very much in doubt. The fan base is very aware of all of this.

heard someone today describe it as Code Orange

(not red but def not just yellow)

Godwin def playing?

I think if the Bills were to lose this game, the alarm bells might actually go quiet from being burned out.

START

Dalton Kincaid, Buffalo Bills

  • The Bills’ first-round rookie led the team in receptions and receiving yards in Week 7.
  • He played in two-tight end sets and split playing time with Dawson Knox in 11 personnel, as usual, but he saw an elevated target share.
  • Knox and third-string tight end Quintin Morris are out this week, which means a significant increase in playing time for Kincaid.
  • He would have been a fantasy starter against any opponent, but the matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 8 is especially enticing.
  • The Buccaneers are one of six teams to use zone defense on 80% or more of passing plays. Kincaid has averaged 1.62 yards per route run against zone compared to 0.43 against man.

If Buffalo were to drop to 4-4, alarm bells are going to start going off.

Given that, I think they loosen the reigns on Allen tonight. I think this is going to be a bit like the Raiders game, but a little more aggressive on Offense, and 1 or 2 more scoring drives given up on defense. I believe the Bills will slowly but surely pull away as the game goes on. Dorsey can't possibly keep calling these stupid plays on 3rd down with some heat under his seat, can he?

Bills TEs consist of Kincaid, not a huge blocker. More passing in the game plan?

Vita Vea out.

Dare I say things are trending toward more Offense? What's the O/U?

I think Buffalo win this one quite comfortably. TB is kind of a paper tiger. They may be 3-3, but this is a below .500 caliber team.

I think the Bills offense just moves up and down the field on Tampa, especially with Vea out. I think a reasonable over/under for Josh Allen this week is 300-3 passing. Diggs should have a big game, Kincaid should get going, and I think if Buffalo focuses on a slot guy with only 1 TE active (hopefully Shakir) he could succeed too, as the Bucs are pretty weak in the slot.

I think this could be a nice game for Godwin if he's healthy, as the Bills struggle a lot in the middle with the injury to Milano and needing to help outside with White out. Could be a heavy RB dumpoff game too.

I'll say Buffalo wins 31-13.

Kincaid lined up in the Slot-45% of the time last week, could be higher tonight

Good Luck, he's firmly on my bench
I loved the 4 week TD run, helped soothe my Kupp pains for a few weeks but the last two games, prefer Sutton or Rice this week.
He was a good WR3/Flex during Sept/Early Oct
But maybe he's due

definitely due. And after a loss last week, the coach should have singled him and said we need more

thats my angle

Typically when you have a big point spread, especially double digits+ and you have AFC vs NFC, you take the points all day long.
These 2 teams never see each other, have no familiarity and sometimes it leads to wacky scores. I can point to a bunch of these already in 2023
I think Buffalo wins but it won't be as easy as the line would lead you to believe.
Back door cover action

Bills 26
Bucs 19

Bucs +9.5 and I'll vote for the Over

Starting Gabe confidently

Rashee against that cottony soft Denver D, please!
My bench now is Sutton-Rice-Gabe Davis, he's fallen from about 3rd to last guy on my bench and I'm happy to have him, he helped me several weeks, he'll hit again when I need him on a Bye week, it's hard to trust him after a couple donuts or 3 and 1 the last two games

Props to @The Dude for playing him, if he hits tonight my guess is a decent number of FF'ers have him on their bench

-And RGK, I can see Rice elevating to a starting WR for me, Cooper is about to hit my bench

That would be surprising to me, given they only have 1 TE active, unless they do some kind of run and shoot offense.

My bench is M. Thomas/Davis/Josh Palmer/Ty Lockett. Starting Puka and Rashee and gambling on a possibly injured Saquon against the Jets D in my flex spot.

When Gabe hits- he hits hard. But I don't want to gamble this week.

Alright, now you got me sliding him into the starting line up
I can always change it back 6 times over the weekend.

4/30/TD, 4/72, 6/90/TD his last 3 games
-He tops out at about 6 targets, don't think KC is anticipating a shootout

Really not liking the pre-game crew. Don't dislike anyone, but don't like anyone either; it feels like a chore to tune in before the kickoff.

And then we get Al and Kirk.

It's all a ploy to make Phil Simms attractive, isn't it?

The downside is: KC gets up a lot early, and stops throwing to anyone not named Travis.

But his targets and snaps are going up every week, and nobody else is really close on the team. KC will keep their foot on Denver's neck until late in the game.

I recently moved to the east coast and worst thing about the east coast is sporting event start times. Brutal. I miss Hawaii time. On the island this game is on at like 215pm. Sunday mornings games start with coffee at 7am then u can enjoy rest of day. This late night stuff is rough.
