TO had the day off for treatment....but started running routes on his own pretty much full speed...so Reid said to him, hey if you're ready to go you should be practicing and TO took exception...sparks flew....Reid sent him home and a suspension is likely coming.

But he's soooo talented, that the Eagles should just put up with it.Just like the Vikes should have put up with Moss' antics because he too, is soooo talented. :sarcasm:

 
Just reported on the local news (NBC10) that the entire 'episode' was started when Andy Reid asked TO to stick around for the autograph session at the end of the day today (he missed Sunday's session, much to the dismay of the Philly fans).

Of course, nobody tells TO what to do and he told Reid that he wasn't going to sign autographs for anybody. The argument escalated from there until Reid told him to grab his things and go!

I'll keep you updated on what I hear from the local media...

He's going to cost himself A LOT of money (not just from Philadelphia, but prospective teams in the future) if he keeps behaving like such a spoiled child.

 
According to espn.com, when asked about Owens leaving camp, Rosenhaus said it was a matter between Owens and Reid and declined further comment. fwiw

If it is something as silly as signing autographs that is really stoopid of him.

TO just held a press conference to announce that he plans to hold out from the suspension. When asked if that means he will actually practice, he looked confused for a moment then yelled, "Ow! My groin!" and ran away.

And I don't have enough work to do to waste time looking for the poop thread. Start by searching for evilgrin72's thread starts. I think that one didn't get deleted but I could be wrong.

PRAYER and lots of it. then hope he kisses and makes up with Ried in a HURRY. Hold on and hope or find a guppy who will give you Chad J or someone like him. I would wait a few days unless soemone blew me away and then start shopping and hoping depending on waht news comes out of this mess.

The Eagles can't afford not to get another season out of him.  It's not that they couldn't field a team without him, but his is an awful lot of money to be carrying on the cap without getting production.  And their team is built to win now. 

I think they put up with him for one more year, come hell or high water, and then dump him.  He'll be back in camp, they'll downplay the situation, and the Eagles will be back to their winning (albeit dysfunctional) ways.

Wasn't his contract front-loaded? This year his cap figure should only be the minimum + pro-rated signing bonus, right?

Sounds like the same from Sal Pal on NFL live. An argument began over T.O. skipping autograph sessions and he was suspended/asked to leave by Reid.
 
Dammit...why do I have this idiot on my 3-man keeper?LT2, TO, and Westbrook as it stands now. I may flat out drop him and keep Bulger instead.Knew I should have unloaded him during the offseason...

Eagle fans are praying that Tommygunzz will state that the Eagles are done this year, thus making them a lock as Super Bowl champs.

Shhh. Everyone over here thinks he's a mild-mannered guy with a fantasy football mind like a steel trap. We're the only ones that know he's a stone cold freak....

 
As an Eagles fan I have to say that I'd rather lose every game this year than win the Super Bowl with that piece of crap on our team.
