??CHAMPIONSHIP EDITION/TOILET BOWL EDITION??

This is where we ask questions and offer help. And thank you to all of the posters who come here to offer that help.

A couple notes:

I attempt to give well considered responses to all questions posted.

1) This only works if people participate. If you ask for help it is good form to offer help to someone else.

2) It helps if you post the matchup. e.g. Mayfield vs Den or Matt Ryan @ Mia

3) Please post important league scoring considerations (e.g. PPR, super-flex etc).

4) Please go easy on the nicknames, save that for other threads. We can't help if we don't know who you are talking about.

View this as an exercise to help focus your thoughts about teams in general. Players you own may not be involved in these WDIS questions but certainly you will own players on many of these teams. Analyzing other players will help you identify things you may have otherwise not considered.

Would love to use the Week 18 thread to include which teams are playing for something and may or may not rest their starters. Of course all of the regular WDIS content is invaluable as well.

For those in leagues with a week 18 matchup. I have 1 left and have won 2 out of my other 3 leagues.

Standard, non-ppr:

Harris or Stevenson? I just read in the other thread that BB doesn't plan on resting players. When did we decide that we trust anything BB says?

Mooney or DJ Moore?

Will Brady play the whole game? Otherwise I start Carr as my QB2 in this Superflex.

The rest of my team is chalk.

Flip a coin on Harris/Rhamondre. Simply no way of knowing. And why would the Pats rest players, the division is still up for grabs, isn't it?

Mooney>Moore Mooney seems more QB proof and Chicago is on a bit of a run.

Doesn't TB have to play for seeding? If so he'll play.

Hoping that Harris is rested to make our decision easier. I have Stevenson and am debating between him and Barkley.

I would go with Mooney. I heard Bruce Arians on the radio yesterday and he is expecting to have his entire defensive backfield intact for the first time since the beginning of the season. Of course, they are still missing some pass rushers but Carolina's OL is a sieve.

I, too, am concerned about Brady. I have him and Cousins and I could also pick up Tannehill, Wentz, or whomever. As I understand it, Tampa can still get the 2nd seed with a win and a Rams' loss, which isn't far fetched because SF NEEDS to win. Don't know an NFL player's mentality. I mean if it were to get the top seed and a bye there is no question about a max effort but something like this... For my third WR, I'm going with Pittman over Evans both because of Evans' lingering injury and because don't know Tampa's mentality.

I’m just down to Brady vs Carr.

Will Brady play the whole game?

Carr doesn’t want to get into a shootout with Herbert but may have to chuck it if they fall behind.

I am not aware of the seeding scenarios relating to the Bucs but if a better seed is on the table I imagine Brady will play.

Regarding Carr, since their week 8 bye Carr has one game with more than one TD pass (week 10 v KC), he has five games with more than 250 yards (four under) and one game over 300 yards (week 12  @ Dal).

So despite having a win & in scenario, if the Bucs have something to play for I roll out Brady. If not, then Carr.
