Weird Food Combinations You Like (3 Viewers)

I'll start. Peanut butter and egg. My mom would often make me poached egg on peanut butter toast. It's phenomenal. Sometimes if I'm lazy I'll just do a fried egg or even scrambled, but the peanut butter combo is unmatched.

I don't think it's considered weird by all accounts but I like putting ground meat in my mac n' cheese. I think that's a pretty standard casserole.

That said, I've also been known to put cut-up hot dogs or even some tuna in my mac n' cheese.

Cream cheese and olives sandwich. Ate this as a kid when we were home sick and still make it once a year or so.
cream cheese and cheetos on baguette.

this was a "oh crap, forgot lunch and have to run to the supermarket across the street from HS to scrounge" lunch... it was phenomenal.

I also make salads without the lettuce. Iceberg lettuce has almost no nutritional value so sometimes I just put in croutons, bacon bits, shredded cheese and thousand island and go to town.

My wife thinks its foul but all you're doing is eliminating one ingredient, and a really bland one at that.

mmm, salad cereal

Also not necessarily "weird" but I will go through phases where I absolutely love a toasted bagel, cream cheese and a few slices of pastrami as a lil sandwich. And I like the cheap-azz Budding pastrami, none of that expensive crap.

What nutritional value do you think bacon bits has?

Ketchup and butter sandwiches. Had them at Gramma's house after preschool (around the corner) way back in the day. Still make it from time to time for a quick snack.

Or if I want some protein, a peanut butter and butter sandwich. Yum.

I actually threw up a little.

Maybe this will work for you....? Mayonnaise on bread. That's all. We called it a "Wish Sandwich", as in, we wish there was some meat in there. haha.

It's been a while, but Ruffles and milk chocolate. Also, Ruffles, baked beans, and yellow mustard with jalapeno - basically, nachos, extra trashy.

Also working with a combo of pepitos (roasted pumpkins seeds), radish, and cheddar that's promising

We used to do jam sandwiches in college. Recipe:

2 Pieces of Bread

Jam two pieces of bread together.

My late stepdad loved ham sandwiches, a piece of ham with another piece of ham on each side no bread needed.

My dad used to eat these. He called them blood sandwiches which was a better name than they deserved

Vanilla Ice cream with apple sauce -- My wife calls me weird, but it is a delicacy the few times a year I have it.
Interesting...

I have a delicacy that's not necessarily "weird" but probably not very common: I love mixing whipped cream (especially Cool Whip) in with chocolate pudding. Something about the consistencies and tastes of each that blend together oh-so-nicely.

Throw in a scoop of protein powder and you've got some "protein fluff"

I think we're going to have to get a ruling on weird. What's not to like about cream cheese + cheetos + baguette?!
