I'd go up there tomorrow for some day drinking but have a flight out to SC. You and CDL will have to carry the Funday torch.

Would gladly trade anytime for some cool Chicago only stuff. The Flying Buffalo stuff is starting to gain a following in Michigan. I put it on par with Bourbon County.ditka311 said:I have not but feel free to send a couple of bottles my way for testing.
Underestimated it -- negative 15 here this morning with a wind chill of negative 28. Taking the dog out to pee at 5:30 am in pajama pants and slippers = not recommended. Hoping my nuts drop back down sometime later today...Eff you, GB...![]()
We're looking at a high below zero tomorrow with wind chills under -20, plus even more snow and likely ice storms to top it off. I already can't feel my toes just thinking about it -- gonna need to be drunk just to survive going outside to clear the driveway.
Pretty sure a lot of barrel aged goodies will be opened this weekend. Still need to pick up a few things with a more moderate abv level.Grabbed some stuff for the holiday weekend: Cone Crusher, Enigma, Prairie Hop, and Prairie Gold.
Indeed -- planning on finally opening Lizard of Koz, and have BCBS and KBS ready to go as well. I just can't do too much BA stout in a row, though. Need to break it up with some lighter hoppy stuff.Pretty sure a lot of barrel aged goodies will be opened this weekend. Still need to pick up a few things with a more moderate abv level.
You mind if you give him my address to send those beers to instead? Also chompin' at the bit for my brother to get his a$$ to FedEx to send me my box o' NE hoppy goodness, which will be Heady, Focal, Julius, Sap, and Green x2 each, plus whatever else he throws in to fill it up (prolly Trillium stuff).
What's your address?!?Also chompin' at the bit for my brother to get his a$$ to FedEx to send me my box o' NE hoppy goodness, which will be Heady, Focal, Julius, Sap, and Green x2 each, plus whatever else he throws in to fill it up (prolly Trillium stuff).
I'll forward it right over LOL. Sent him a pretty solid box for those including 2 Black Note and 2 KBS plus some good 18th / FFF hops. Trillium for him is easy to get like FFF is for me. Alchemist and Tree House require taking a whole day to go get...You mind if you give him my address to send those beers to instead?
Tree House is impossible for me to get around here. I gave up playing the game to get it. Much easier to get Alchemist and Trillium takes no effort.Coeur de Lion said:I'll forward it right over LOL. Pretty easy really. Pack it well into a box and send via UPS or FedEx. Cost is dependent on location and weight. Costs me anywhere from 20-30 to send a box to Florida or NC, about 15 to send to MichiganNever sent beer , how does one do it and about what is the cost ?
get a big enough box, lots of soft packing material, wrap the bottles in bubble wrap, copious amounts of tape to seal it. set up a shipping account with one of those major shipping companies.. ship "olive oil" to your friend.Never sent beer , how does one do it and about what is the cost ?
Have to take a day to go out to the middle of nowhere to the brewery from what I hear.Tree House is impossible for me to get around here. I gave up playing the game to get it. Much easier to get Alchemist and Trillium takes no effort.
yes they are on the CT border around nothing.A couple of coworkers have been there twice and came up empty.Have to take a day to go out to the middle of nowhere to the brewery from what I hear.
Get to know the mailroom guys at your company. No time, no cost.Never sent beer , how does one do it and about what is the cost ?
I'm pretty sure it's coming. The new massive aging facility is going to be cranking out huge amounts of BA beer. Should start to rival BC.Coeur de Lion said:https://foundersbrewing.com/latest-news/2016/2017-update-barrel-aged-series-and-frootwood/
Lot of rumors swirling that CBS will be making an appearance in 2017.
Just arrived! Also chompin' at the bit for my brother to get his a$$ to FedEx to send me my box o' NE hoppy goodness, which will be Heady, Focal, Julius, Sap, and Green x2 each, plus whatever else he throws in to fill it up (prolly Trillium stuff).
Just had a Doubleganger myself...TH just keeps making stoopid good beers.So... 1st time having Julius. Yeah... it's pretty hyped. And yeah, it lives up. No, it is better. Just ridiculous.
Picked up a couple today. Going to have one after I finish getting the turkey in the brine.Santa's Cookies and Milk from Hailstorm. Awesome, not quite as good as hipster but still very good.
Transient Artisan Ales in Bridgman too from what I hear. A few guys in my local FB beer group are huge fans. I've been meaning to get up there and check it out.Ilov80s said:Defloured from Witches Hat. They have firmly established themselves as the source for NE style IPA in Michigan
