Which particular Yeti style? There are plenty of stouts out there to try. Have you tried Victory Storm King (assuming you are in PA?)
Kind of need more info
hi ditka, have tried the yeti imperial stout and the yeti oak aged espresso stout and love both. was wanting something along that line of beer to compare.
have tried the youngs choc stout and Samuel smith choc stout and they don't compare to the yeti for me.
i'm in nc
Beers I'm pretty sure you have access to that compare (yes, Yeti is great):
Ten Fidy
Old Rasputin
Stone Imperial Russian Stout (comes out every April)
Founders Imperial Stout
If you like coffee in your beer like the Expresso Yeti, Look for Founders Breakfast Stout.
That's off the top of my head. Look for local breweries. You probably have some great stout around I've never heard of.
thanks sebowski.I have not been able to find the founders which is 1 I was going to try. I will look for the others you mentioned above as well. it stinks paying $8-10 a bottle and not liking it, hence asking for the knowledge here.
Other beers distributed to charlotte/Huntersville area, but not sure what total wine has:- olde hickory event horizon
- duclaw retribution
- olde hickory imperial stout
- brooklyn chocolate stout
- brooklyn black ops
- bunch of different evil twin stouts
thanks palmer. I'm sure i'll be able to find a couple with both lists.
Ended up finding and getting:Founders breakfast stout
Yeti espresso...it was there
Big bad baptist imperial stout
Olde hickory brewing imperial stout with tad of honey. Apparently after a few sips I will feel like a Russian czar...
Palmer, I got our friend Rob the big bottle of delerium tremens to pay him back the thank you of the yeti he got me. Know if he drinks that?
Thanks again for the recommendations guys.
