What kind of beer is everyone drinking tonight? (3 Viewers)

Currently drinking a Stone RIS. After this, got some Dogfish 90min and Stoudts OIS in the queue.
Not a bad lineup. surprised you don't post in this thread more often.
Only a few weeks ago discovered the store by me that sells good beers. Been using this thread as a guide. I'm sure I'll post more often in this thread when I become more acclimated with these types of beers.
hell.. i don't know what i'm talking about 90% of the time and i post here

I think it's been a while since I thanked Fro for sending me the Pliny the Elder. Man that was good beer. If anyone wants to do a growler trade sometime....
Pliney the Elder might be the best beer that has ever crossed my lips, and I have plenty of beers throughout the years.

That was a truly excellent beer. Really, if anyone else would like to figure out a deal for a growler........

I still need to get a growler for Wingnut, so the next time I'm at the brewery, I'll pick up two and we'll do an Elder for Masala trade.

furley, you try/like either of the porters I sent you?
i'll be getting in to them tonite.had 2 very long days in a row... i really need to unwind.. and i'm gonna do that with a Bully!
Did you ever find any Okocim Porter? God that stuff is good.
yup  got one in my fridge right now.
I think you'll like it a lot. Be sure to report back. I've been pimping the hell out of that beer in this thread and was wondering if anyone agreed with me.

Soon as I get my BIF package, I'll be making a road trip down south to find a few beers. I'll stop by Pizza Port and grab you a growler of something (maybe the 15) and toss it in the mail.

 Guess I have finally gained a little credit around here for being decent to trade with.

We’re really happy with this year’s Stone 06.06.06 Vertical Epic Ale. This is a very dark ale fermented with Belgian Trappist yeast, so the flavors in it are really deep and complex. The Belgian yeast clove notes combine nicely with the roast malt flavors, with dried cherry and anise undertones. The flavors imparted by the special roasted malt are very rich, smooth, and silky. It will be interesting to see how this beer ages, and how the smooth roasted malt characters evolve with the spicy Belgian yeast character over time.

 :excited:

A case for now and a case for later.
 My 03, 04, and 05 are buried deep in the cellar for a reason. The 06 sounds like it could be the best one yet.

Don't think so. Stone didn't distribute in this neck of the woods back then.

Alright the wife just got back, time for the AB.
Fired up Tiger Woods Golf. One drink for every shot. :banned: Will report my final score.
-1 through three and a pint glass gone already.
even through 9 and a bomber of AB GONE!!
-1 for the first round. A 22oz of AB and two 12oz Sierra Nevada PA gone. Foe ne at least beer + golf = better. On to round two . . . . . .
:lmao: Always works foe ne too - the Wednesday league wouldn't be nearly as much fun without ol' Land O' Lakes in the beer cart catching up with the foursome at the 3rd and 6th holes like clockwork.
