WR CeeDee Lamb, DAL (1 Viewer)

I hope he really takes this slow. Don'tt get back to 100%. Aim for 110 or 120%. Maybe even consider surgery, even if it's just cosmetic.

Signed,
Guy with lots of George Pickens.

As a guy who owns both, I agree...
I'm confused by this. I would think if you owned both, you'd want both to play. Its not like Pickens is getting 100% of the receiving production without Lamb. Lamb+Pickens is likely better than Pickens+rando.

Maybe it's the idea of let Pickens cook while Lamb isn't 100% and keep him out until he is so that Lamb will be back to full speed. The risk being that if Lamb is back at less than 100% it drags down performance of both guys to the point you don't have an elite option.

You're right, I would likely have to start both. Would the two together be better than my other options (Waddle, MHJr, Jamo)? Maybe. But I like having an elite guy there like Pickens has been.

Yeah you run the risk of going from having 1 top 5 WR in Pickens to 2 WR3 types if a still hobbled Lamb eats into George’s targets.

I guess I just don't see that scenario happening. Dallas offense is too good. If Lamb and Pickens have WR3 weeks, its because Javonte Williams and Jake Ferguson had 4 TDs or something.

I get not wanting Lamb back, if you have Pickens. But having both, I just don't get not wanting the guy you took in the 1st round out there. I think there are absolutely gonna be weeks where both guys are top-12, and I think this could be one of them.

Its not about not wanting Lamb back out there.......it's about not wanting a hobbled Lamb underperforming out there.

Right back to being an elite WR1. There aren't many WRs I am taking over Lamb ROS considering how good Dak looks. Puka has his usual health scares, JJ issues at QB, although Flacco loved Chase last week I don't know how long he will hold up/keep putting up good performances, etc.

who gets Surtain this week? him or Pickens?
Hopefully Pickens lol. IIRC doesn't Lamb move around a lot and sometimes in the slot? Does Surtain typically follow teams WR1 or moreso just one side of the field?
Yeah, I'm pretty sure they do move Lamb around a lot. But I don't know about Surtain.
I got this wrong Eagles week, where I thought Surtain wouldn't follow AJ, but with a little more evidence, I think we can make a guess this week.

Denver has played 3 games this season, where a team had multiple big time WR threats. Chargers, Bengals, and Eagles.

Chargers-he covered Johnston
Bengals-he covered Chase
Eagles-he covered AJ

The Chargers one is the one that throws me from thinking Surtain just covers Lamb. In all 3 cases he covered the more "downfield threat" and none of those guys play in the slot as much as Lamb does. I guess I think Surtain probably rotates and sees some of both Lamb and Pickens. I wouldn't let Surtain affect any lineup decisions this week, not that anyone is likely sitting Lamb or Pickens this week.
