The holy war over this receiver corps is odd. This feels like a pretty clear 1a / 1b situation with Sutton being the A and Jeudy the B. Both feel like strong WR3 / Flex plays with upside.

I would not know because I truly don't even look at rankings but that's how they were being drafted by most people(not me). For me, there is nothing clear about Juedy being the B to Suttons A. Maybe, maybe not, but it's certainly not clear.

This is the exact thing a brought to the table earlier. I don’t have either on my dynasty teams, but will definitely be targeting Sutton in both of my upcoming redrafts. Jeudy has definitely flashed potential in camp according to local reports, but has been very inconsistent. He’s always had issues with drops and that has still been evident in camp thus far. Even with the Patrick injury, he’s still been reported to have bad body language and seems like his head isn’t there. Apparently the rookie Washington is tearing up camp and looks hungry. That could be bad for Jeudy if he doesn’t put it together.

I've heard numerous local camp reports all summer about how well Jeudy is doing. Just one example from yesterday vs. PS2.

Speaking of Jeudy, the 2020 first-round pick also had a terrific day at practice today. His day served as an anti-Pat-Shurmur showcase, with Jeudy taking an end-around for a massive gain, and hauling in numerous passes on deep routes — which he wasn’t given the privilege to run under Shurmur. One of those deep completions was a touchdown that came at Patrick Surtain II’s expense, and it marked just the third time all camp that Surtain had been beaten that badly, and the second time it’s happened at the hands of Jeudy.

This is not what I'd personally term as one of them clearly being 1A and the other 1B but it's all solid reasoning I don't disagree with at all and pretty close to mirroring how I feel.

As a Bronco I fan, I hope this is how it plays out. That's certainly the expectation.

I think it's more likely Sutton meets this expectation than Jeudy.

It's an outdated legacy narrative that some in here are trying way too hard to carry over to the current season. Of course Jeudy still needs to prove himself once real bullets fly, but all these imaginary "reports" of bad body language, inconsistency and drops are simply not an accurate reflection of Jeudy's performance since OTA's began.

He’s off to a terrible start. I didn’t watch the game today but saw some clips of the fans not looking happy. They’ll get it going but Hackett sure has the feel of a one and done coach. The Broncos have a richer than normal owner. Perhaps Sean Payton can be lured here.

You’ll read about it tomorrow - he cost them so many 1st downs, couldn’t decide whether to go for it on 4th & short or 4th & long….to the point he had to use 2 time-outs and/or take delay of game - at home.

He also had a critical play & opted to run their 4th string TE who’d touched the football once before in his career. When JaWill was averaging 6+ YPC.

Jerry Jeudy (shoulder/ribs) did not practice Thursday.​

Jeudy left in the first quarter of Week 2's Broncos-Texans contest after being driven into the ground hard on a catch attempt. He's not practiced either of the first two days this week leading up to Sunday Night's game against the 49ers, and that puts him on the pessimistic side of questionable if he's able to get in a limited practice Friday. If Jeudy sits, Courtland Sutton would likely be a target hog for the Broncos in Week 3.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Jerry Jeudy (shoulder/ribs) "is on track to play" in Week 3 against the 49ers.​

Schefter noted Jeudy "wants to see how it feels in pre-game warmups" before making a final decision. Jeudy went down in the first quarter of Week 2 and did not return. A pair of DNPs early in the week made it look like he would miss Denver's matchup with the 49ers, but Jeudy did get in a limited practice on Friday. It's likely the third-year receiver will play at less than full health, but fantasy managers should still bet on him as a WR2. In Jeudy's only first and only full game with Russell Wilson, he went for 102 yards and a touchdown.
