Whaaaaat... no, I have not. In fact I did not know that beer existed. I'll have to see if I can make it out to Spring House again sometime soon. I do recall liking their pumpkin beers. Thank you for the reminder... I appreciate it.Have you had satans bake sale mint chocolate chip stout from spring house? Never thought I'd like a beer like that, but had it a festival several years ago and thought it was great.
Saw these at Binnys today. $18.99 per. I wanted to....couldn't. Same with Surly Wet.From 18th Street's FB:
"Introducing Nickel and Dime, two new Double Dry Hopped Double India Pale Ales that won’t leave you feeling short changed. Both are juicy and hazy- Nickel (7.4% ABV) is brewed and dry hopped with Nelson Sauvin and Simcoe hops; Dime (7.6% ABV) with Citra and Galaxy hops. Available 10/12 at both locations. 13oz drafts $6, 16oz 4pks to go $18."
Looks like I'll be having another talk with the wife about how I spend too much on beer tomorrow lol.
How is it? I don't think I had it last year...maybe even last 2 yearsBorn Yesterday.
I was at my local bottle shop yesterday when the Lagunitas rep dropped off the keg and a few cases. They tapped it right away. I said hi to the rep as I was grabbing a sixer of it and he offered to put it on his tab as well as the fresh pint off the keg.
I love it, 18 bucks for a 12 pack. Tremendous value IMO.How is it? I don't think I had it last year...maybe even last 2 years
Last year’s batch was easily the best ever IMO. It was unreal how good it was — best shelf beer ever level. How is it? I don't think I had it last year...maybe even last 2 years
Damn. Well I have to get a 6er this year.Last year’s batch was easily the best ever IMO. It was unreal how good it was — best shelf beer ever level.

I had that not too long ago and it was delicious.Samuel Smith’s Organic Chocolate Stout
Not in IN yet either...Damn, I won't see Born Yesterday anywhere for a few weeks yet
Born....Three Weeks AgoDamn, I won't see Born Yesterday anywhere for a few weeks yet
I am worried too. I still haven't seen it at my 2 local spots.Born....Three Weeks Ago
I found a FB post of a local party store with it so Friday will be my day.I was told to expect it tomorrow at my store.
Nice username/avatar.Been working on a sixer of Ballast Points Victory at Sea all night. Had a bomber of Three Floyd's Broo Doo also.
Becoming the norm which sucks.Just spent $72 on 16 cans of beer
“Maybe the end of next week” per my guy here in IN. He has it in the back I think, but can’t sell it until Indiana Beverage tells him to.You guys weren't kidding about this Born Yesterday. Fresh hops season pretty much cements fall as the best time of the year.
Just went to the gas station on the corner...“Maybe the end of next week” per my guy here in IN. He has it in the back I think, but can’t sell it until Indiana Beverage tells him to.
Dime is absolutely worth it; Nickel is good but not worth $18.Becoming the norm which sucks.
So tempted by those $18.99 4 packs from 18th Street. ......and I know if they still have it I'm going to give in.
Don't forget to send me that 4 pack you promisedJust spent $72 on 16 cans of beer
I've read that too. But Nelson....Dime is absolutely worth it; Nickel is good but not worth $18.
It does, but dry-hopping with expensive sexy hop varieties at these crazy levels to create teh #hazebro is crazy expensive to do, too, per my friends in the industry and that homebrew.Becoming the norm which sucks.
On behalf of New Zealand, I say "suck it" to Australia, your cool sounding hops, and your legion of fanboys...Galaxy FTW GB...
How is Broo Doo drinking this year? Haven’t grabbed it (yet).Been working on a sixer of Ballast Points Victory at Sea all night. Had a bomber of Three Floyd's Broo Doo also.
True which is why I don't ##### about it, more just shake my head. My wife started snooping around about the price of the beer I purchase and I refused to tell her.It does, but dry-hopping with expensive sexy hop varieties at these crazy levels to create teh #hazebro is crazy expensive to do, too, per my friends in the industry and that homebrew.
Don’t think I’ve ever had anything less than outstanding from Hubbard’s Cave. Also picked up Fresh v6 and v7. V6 is ekuanot and simcoe. Supposed to be good.
v7 is Idaho 7 and El Dorado. Really intrigued about the Idaho 7 as I've seen that being used more frequently.
