sorry, "powerboner"Um, where is the English versionboner de puissance
I'm pretty sure you still can. The Remix version, is from Röyksopp's Night Out EP and it's a totally different pace to the IMHO name only version it's based on Melody A.M. The band refer to it as Istanbul Forever rather than Poor Leno The Dance Mix.Obviously N.V would have to make the ruling. And sniped here, although I was going for the album version. Didn't see that coming.Time to Dance
Loads of choices from this band, but this is the one I want.

Hi.Gotta go in a few mins...who can take a PM?
Real good song. I'm going back and forth on taking one of his songs. No clue what I'm doing with my mix yet, may make a sharp left turn at some point. For Marco:
8.12 Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds - "Dig, Lazarus, Dig!!!" (4:11)
This is a nice mix, although Royksopp lost me, and I'll likely skip "Yellow" when given the opportunity (not an awful song, I've just had my fill).JML's Music Mix circa 00-09 (running order to be determined)
OH then me.Who's up?
Nicolay told Paste that he played on sessions for a forthcoming Hold Steady album, but the band has rerecorded those sessions with another keyboardist.
Nicolay illustrated things with a fairly confusing zoo creature analogy: "In the Hold Steady, I was kind of a fox in a hedgehog band. The Isaiah Berlin thing about the hedgehogs who have one defining idea and the foxes who have a lot of different ideas. So this is going to let me indulge a lot of those different ideas."
Or, basically, Nicolay felt like he'd done all the things he could do with the Hold Steady. He told Paste, "They have their one big idea-- making literate, wordy lyrics over big anthemic rock-- and the last two records were about as good as I felt like I could do with that idea."
Instead, Nicolay will focus his energy on a vaudeville-themed solo tour. People going to those shows might find Nicolay playing banjo and tapdancing (seriously), two things that rarely appear at Hold Steady shows. He told Paste, "I want to explore this vaudeville troubadour idea of going out there all over the world and seeing if I can walk into a room of strangers and entertain them. I think part of the problem of being known as a member of other bands is, if I walk into a room with my name over the door, no one really knows what to expect. I have, in a lot of ways, a blank slate to see what works."
I'd pay to see Franz tapdance. Is Franz Nicolay a little bit insane?

This might be the only place in print that "punk" is used to describe this song. It's classic 80s metal, even in the vocal tones, without so much as a dollop of punk to it. Interesting that this is a 2000s song, it sounds and looks exactly like it would if someone in my high school would've done it back then.(3:18)
I think Tufnel introduced me to these guys. Thanks buddy.

lol... seems like Tufnel and I have provided back to back picks of the same band several times. Probably cause we're totally gay for each other. Anyway, happening again...
8.20 Okkervil River - "For Real"

Yeah, this would have been pick #2. Both are on my go to playlist these days.I'll stack their rhythm section up against just about any band. Jaw-dropping good.Didn't know if there were other Dismemberment Plan fans around.
