RB injuries and suspensions are the killer this year. I usually go on the light side in the contest at the position, but thought I had "loaded up" with Foster, Rice, Moreno, Ingram, J Stewart and Cunningham. Last week only got 12.4 from the last two. This week hoping Foster plays as he may be solo for my squad. Not looking forward to it, but feeling a little better thanks to the rundown on teams with certain position shortages.

Enjoy this thread each and every yeast.

This might be end of me this week, my RB selections just aren't giving me much.

Toby Gerhart $21
LeGarrette Blount $6

I agree, always great to see how everyone's rooster does each yeast :)

My favorite team this week is WasabiAZ, Entry 106242. It's a 23-man team, with 21 players inactive this week. Unfortunately, the team was eliminated in week 2. No living team has more than 15 inactive players this week, and each of those has at least a 27-man roster. Would've been good to see just how far Cam Newton and Greg Olsen can carry a team. Come to think of it, I guess I can find that out just by watching the Panthers play this year.

Russell Wilson

Cam Newton

Carson Palmer

Marshawn Lynch

Andre Ellington

Christine Michael

Stepfan Taylor

Jonathan Dwyer

Robert Turbin

Percy Harvin

Michael Floyd

Larry Fitzgerald

Doug Baldwin

Jermaine Kearse

John Brown

Paul Richardson

Greg Olsen

Zach Miller

Rob Housler

John Carlson

Steven Hauschka

Seattle Seahawks

Arizona Cardinals

$50 of waste so far, but that will change this week

Doug Martin $24

Andre Williams $7

Justin Hunter $9

Cody Latimer $6

Eagles DST $4

If I can get 12 pts from my RB's, I think I'll survive. Wishing I would have spread the Latimer money out on Bortles and something else for this week though but Cutler with that favorable matchup vs GB gives me confidence.
Well, that worked out ok for me this week at RB so far. :pickle:

I was pretty happy with the game last night. Only had two RBs going who could point for me this week, and they both got into the end zone last night. 30 points from my only two RBs this week gives me confidence I will make it through week 4, my toughest week for byes.

After that, week 10 is going to be a little rough if I make it that far. Not sure what I was thinking there.

Giants - 169 brave souls started, 99 remain 58.6%

Giants, Saints - 12 teams, 6 teams 50%

Giants, Saints, Lions - 1 team 100%
I've added team pages to the website. This shows your results for each week of the season, how many times you've used each player on your roster, some summary stats, and a list of "similar teams" that share the most players with your own team. Kind of fun to click around and see what other teams are out there that share a lot of the same players. You can get there by clicking your entry number on the live scoring page, or in the dropdown menu in at the top of the page.

I'll need a miracle in order to make it through this week. I have 8 players on bye by design (including no D), but last year was the first year in the contest and I assumed the same cut lines would be in effect each week -- big mistake. Any way, I have 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 3TE, 1PK, and 0D. Each of these guys will score for me this week:

R. Tannehill
L. McCoy
M. Forte
B. Hartline
K. Benjamin
H. Miller
T. Kelce
S. Chandler
M. Bryant
ZERO from my D (both on bye)

Bye players: R.Wilson, B. Cunningham, AJ. Green, P. Harvin, M. Sanu, M. Nuggent, Rams, Cincy

Additional players out due to injury: D. Woodhead, M. Ingram, R. Streater, K. Rudolph

Here's my team. See you next year!

My team has been very steady, if not spectacular, despite the presence of AP. With AP out and Rudolf hurt, not sure how long that'll last. I'm sure there will come a week that I would have needed one of those 2, and it's likely sooner, rather than later

Not feeling good about this week with Chris Johnson as my only RB. I thought choosing early bye weeks was a good strategy, but injuries took out my other guys.

Might be getting that miracle.

:scared: Not looking good for me.

6 RBs (Rice :X , MJD  , McCoy :missing: , Ingram and Stewart :topcat: , and White). Right now I have a total of 3 pts from my RBs.

Now if you thought that was sad, I took 4 TEs (Cameron, Rudolph, Celek, and Wright). Current score of 0.

Unbelievable.

I would have taken 116.5 + L. McCoy at the start of the day and been happy... but his 1.7 points on the day are killing me. I'd hate to get cut because he sucked so bad today given the long odds of everyone else having the day they did.

No QB no problem! My Peyton as the only qb gamble worked for week 4. I'm in the 160's thanks to Antonio, Demarco and Keenan, though Lesean McCoy really needs to step up or I will be in trouble going into the deeper bye weeks!

Cutline right now at 115.35 unofficially.

I'm at 156.65 + (KC - 5.0) + (White :lmao: - 10.30)

Lacy finally gets used and gave me a little bit. Same with Torrey Smith. Walsh with a very nice game. Amaro looking like a :shark: pick all of a sudden.

5 of my 26 guys have had their bye. 1 (Freese) has a permabye. White is glued to the bench. Ingram is my one serious injury. Will be nice to have Green available the rest of the way.

On to week 5. Good luck to those sweating The Turk! :scared:

-QG

Richard Rodgers finally showed up, giving me my first non-zero TE score in a couple weeks! Woot!

I'm still sweating it out, though. Currently sitting at 109 (with NO's defense going, though they've gotten a zero so far, as did Carolina's defense). Cut line is at 115.35 with about a quarter to go in SNF. Only Edelman - 0.2 left to go. 10 points from him might be enough to do it. Maybe. I'd feel a heck of a lot more comfortable with 15.

So that Brees-to-Graham touchdown just raised the cut-line by 3.5 points.
Have to think the bulk of the guys that have Graham at TE don't have much else b/c of his cost.

-QG
For sure. Ditto that with Brees at QB, though QBs can't get flexed and are less likely to get counted.

I'm in the odd position of rooting against Brees, who I own, simply because he's unlikely to count for me over Roethlisberger. Every point he scores just moves the cutline up without helping me. It's looking like tonight's going to be a worst-case scenario for me, with Brees scoring about as much as he possibly could without counting.

On the other hand, if he goes bonkers over the final 5 minutes of the game, then that would actually probably help after all. So Brees either needs to never complete another pass, or throw for two more TDs in the next five minutes before tossing another one in overtime. Either would be okay, but please, nothing in between.

Ugh. Romo to Dez for a TD, and another 3-point jump in the cut-line. Pretty sure I'm done. 13 points below with only Edelman to go.

Cannot believe I'm sweating this! I have nowhere near the bye problems that others do yet find myself 3 points below the cut line with Edelman -2.30 to go.

Looks like a relatively comfortable advance, but yet again an uninspiring score -- 161.25. I still have LaFell - 3.20, but that seems largely irrelevant.

My WR are not good enough, but if only 2 of them count each week I might be ok for awhile.

I felt comfortable at 140.15 before the Sunday night game, now the cut line moves to 125+ with Brady and company facing a weak KC team. I have nobody left playing this week, so it's hold on and bite your nails time.

What's safe? I'm at 151 with only kelce who is unlikely to help me much (-10.2)

Sadly, injuries and bye weeks didn't hurt much, my players just aren't good.

I am right about there too. That Dez touchdown late put me in the low 150s with New England defense -4.

155.4 with nobody left tonight. I'm sitting at 4218 and just quickly looking at the ownership stats has me believing that I am safe. It's hard for me to envision 3300 entries scoring 30+ points tonight. <---------- (Famous last words)

so, uh, thanks for nothing Foles. You ****.

132 with Julian Edelman -2.2 left.

I heard a rumor the cutline is currently at 125ish

Hoping a lot of McCoy owners are out this week.
As a McCoy owner who's safe, I can get on board with that. If nothing else, maybe get rid of the 174 remaining Manning/McCoy teams, the 348 D. Thomas/McCoy teams and the 154 J. Thomas/McCoy teams.

Hoping more of the 98 surviving Lacy/Lynch owners get booted. Then again, Lacy might not help anyone.
