So does anyone want to trade a wr for a rb?  Gotta laugh when your most expensive player, who had a decent game (Gordon - 79 yards and a touchdown) doesn't count for rb or flex, but your $3 wr counts with half his points. Still, 216 in week 1 isn't half bad.

Crowder better improve quick.
Another week with 4 RB counting and Crowder and Cooks appear to be a waste of money.  Hogan and Parker did alright.

So, last week I finished #71 with 235.5 points. This week I am currently 7.8 points below the cut line with Theo Riddick (-8.4) and Kenny Golladay (-8.9) to save me from elimination. This goes to show just how fickle this game of fantasy football is.

Dear Pete Carroll:

I understand that marijuana is largely legal on the west coast, but if you could manage to abstain long enough to address the offensive line, I would appreciate it.

Sincerely,

Russell Wilson / Doug Baldwin / Richardson owner.

Some things after 2 weeks. Asumming health

If Stafford is healthy he will be on a lot of final 250 rosters

If you don't have Hunt on your team you are a dead man walking.

Cutler was knocking off the rust and will start slinging it soon. Parker owners rejoice.

Javrious Allen will get people to the final 250.

Ajayi is going to be on a lot of final 250 rosters.

Almost forgot Derrick Henry is taking over. Congrats on the teams that have him and Hunt.

Who the hell thought it was smart to roster Ginn at 9 dollars, oh yeah I did.

Last year was the year of the running back. I think this year is the year of the tight end. Henry, Ertz, Watson, James, Clay, Engram, Doyle and maybe even Kittle are going to be big. Hope you guys all have 4 or 5 of those guys rostered.

lol you figured all this out after just 2 weeks, huh?

Weirdness for the week: Throw out my high and low scores and every player that scored for me was within 4.5 points of each other:

Mike Evans 22.3

Chris Boswell 17.6

Carlos Hyde 17.3

Julio Jones 15.8

Bucs D 15

Jay Ajayi 14.6

Jameis Winston 14.5

Kelvin Benjamin 13.7

Leveon Bell 13.1

Julius Thomas 7.1

151 points. We're moving on to Cincinnati.

I selfishly hope you are right, but I think it was more about game flow (resting Murray in a blow out). Henry only had 2 touches in the first half and only 4 touches while it was a 2 score game. He didn't take over until it was 23-3 with a few minutes left in the 3rd quarter.

OK! I finally found my "difference factor"! I'm one of only 4 teams that started with DJ, Dalton, Olsen & Sturgis, and the I'm the only one left alive!

Oh, wait.........

I hope you're right on most of this.

I spent too much on RB but at least they're preforming so far.

T Gurley RBLAR2728.60RB

K Hunt RBKC1025.90RB

M Gordon RBLAC2820.80FL

D Henry RBTEN1315.20FL

T Cohen RBCHI314.8

I had Ginn for a while, dropped him and someone (don't recall whom) for Parker when the fins got week 1 off.

According to calcomatic, I finished 0.4 ahead of the cut line. Thought I was toast and might be if there are any discrepancies.

Kittle is gonna have to carry me

Wow,  8517 remaining teams have Kareem hunt.  Not me though.  I don't think thats a good thing right now but whatever.  After 2 weeks, I have $43 dedicated to players that have not factored in the scoring.  This might be interesting to track as I make my way through the weeks until elimination..

Eliminated after week 2. Expected more out of Cam Newton as my #1 QB. $14 of dead money spent on 2 RB's :wall: . Two WR's and on K hurt and out in two weeks  . Back to the drawing board for next year.

Lol you spent to much on RB I spent $114 on 4 guys and non have been used as a flex and the only one over 20pts in a week was Hunt. Here's hoping they are just warming up.... o yea except DJ might not even be good to go by playoffs. Hats off to anyone who makes the top 250 with $39 of wasted money.

Hunt and Witten are leading my squad to a nice start (204 & 190), with Ertz & the Lions D also making big contributions. TE looks to be my strongest position, with all 4 flex starts coming from there. Biggest concern is RB where DJ is out and I only have Hunt, Bell, and Smallwood left. I wish I'd spent that last $2 on Buck Allen instead of Marcedes Lewis.

Usage report:

QB WInston (1), Bradford (1)
RB Bell (2), Hyde (2), Ajayi (1), C West (1), Smallwood (0)
WR JJones (2), K Benjamin (2), Evans (1), Golladay (1), D Parker (0)
TE Graham (1), Thomas (1)
PK Zuerlein (1), Boswell (1), Santos (0)
DT Tampa (1), Miami (0)*

* No defense played week 1.

All I know after 2 weeks is that I'm still alive. I can't make any predictions at all at this point. Byes have a way of upsetting any narrative you think will play out.

760 eliminated in week 2, more than I expected

I've got dead money piling up with Olsen, Coleman and Sturgis on IR.

Luckily, my $3 Kearse and $3 Dorsett might fill the void left by Olsen.

I spent way too much time deciding on my second QB between Bradford, Siemian and Goff, to pair with Winston. As it turns out, they all look pretty good so far. Went with Siemian since he was the cheapest. I considered dropping Winston and going with those three but went with Winston and Siemian in the end.

And even though a 700+ teams picked Goff, it looks like almost nobody picked Sammy Watkins.

Sam Bradford owners just got the 6 word sentence of death. Going to see Dr. James Andrews.

Vikings QB Sam Bradford seeking second opinion on knee from Dr. James Andrews, per @mortreport. Has pronounced pain in knee.

So glad I added Goff to my final iteration along with my Dalton-Bradford lineup.  Goff may single-handedly keep me in this thing.

Or maybe I'm okay with having Marcedes Lewis. 0/0/0, 0/0/0, 4/62/3.
