Minnesota and Sacramento compete for three quarters and then each quit in the 4th lol
15-zip (I believe) run by the Nuggets to pull it off. Huge, huge win. The #2 seed is Denver and the other best 3 teams may all be on the other side of the bracket in the West.

1. Warriors vs. 8. Clippers

2. Nuggets vs. 7. Spurs

3. Blazers vs. 6. Thunder

4. Rockets vs. 5. Jazz

1. Bucks vs. 8. Pistons

2. Raptors vs. 7. Magic

3. Sixers vs. 6. Nets

4. Celtics vs. 5. Pacers

Denver's home/away splits are quite different.. surprised they would have let the game be that close

The final day worked out well for the Thunder imo.  Get a beat up Portland squad and avoid GS in the second round.   Being a Rockets fan, I'd gladly trade places with them.

They played 6 players total, 3 of whom played all 48 minutes and outscored the Kings by 20 in the 4th.  Either the Kings were just really terrible or they had some associates make some live bets at the end of the 3rd quarter.
Yeah, that ending was sketchy af.  Portland sat all the starters, but then won after being down 25 with that group of guys.  Makes no sense.

Rational response to beating your Vegas o/u by only 13.5 wins, IMO:

Adrian Wojnarowski @wojespn

Vlade Divac is pushing to consolidate his power as Kings top basketball executive, seriously weighing dismissal of coach Dave Joerger, league sources tell ESPN. Divac/Joerger set for meeting today. Joerger led Kings young core to a 39 win season. He has a year left on deal.

I can't believe how this worked out for the Nuggets....they basically threw their game on Sunday against Portland....it wasn't so much sitting Joker, Millsap, and Murray.....they still had a 7 point lead with like 5 minutes to play.....they could have very easily, and I mean easily won that game.....but Malone then left Isaih Thomas in the game for the last 7 minutes and did not put back in any of Barton, Harris, or Morris who were all playing well....he left Thomas in who single handily gave the game to Portland....which then set up the scenario that played out....Portland wins out after that.....Houston loses to OKC and Denver wins one of last two....Denver now gets to avoid both Hou and GS until the finals if they take care of business...the Nuggets denied trying to play this out, but it was so obvious.....but how it worked out was even more incredible....

George hits the last second 3 and Hardin misses a wide open 3 after that.....a game HOU should really have won but they didn't.....Portland down huge last night to SAC but somehow pull it out in the 4th quarter......and Denver who played like crap against a depleted MIN and did not deserve in any way to win that game somehow pulls off a 15-0 run in the last 4 minutes to steal it.....it was set up for karma to kick DEN right in the mouth.....but somehow it didn't and while SA and Pop will be tough....it really couldn't have worked out better for DEN....they do not match up well at all with GS or HOU.....

now IMO Utah is going to give HOU all they want.....wouldn't be surprised whatsoever to see Utah win that one....but even if HOU wins then they and GS get to spend a ton of energy beating each other up....same with POR and OKC.....

can't believe the dominoes fell the way they did for Den....they really didn't deserve it because of what they did in Portland.....karma gave them a hall pass there.....but I think it could rear its head with their match up against pop and SA....

This is why fans of teams with bad ownership can never have nice things. Unless the second best player of all time happens to be from your area and you win the lottery the year he’s draft eligible.

Terry Rozier just told Rich Eisen he would have said the Earth was flat a couple years ago, so was happy no one asked him. But then he said he's still not sure, and that he's confused about it.

Embiid might sit out game 1.  Ugh.  If this series goes 6 or 7 long, Toronto will sweep us.
Where are you seeing this?

i know there were some comments by brand a day or two ago, but I don’t know that it’s thst serious.

I did hear them discussing on the radio. Oh that wacky Sixers medical staff. Tried to play it off as load management but it might be his knee.

Ugh.

When asked about his availability for Game 1 of the 76ers' series with Brooklyn, Joel Embiid answered "I have no idea."

BTW, no link as it is only on the Bleacher Report App, but a new Game of Zones episode dropped yesterday.   It is about the Jimmy Butler infamous TWolves practice and subsequent trade.  Freaking hilarious.

Walton officially gone, and here we go!

Ty Lue is a strong frontrunner for the Lakers coaching job, league sources tell ESPN.

I’ll admit, I was a little worried that the Lakers would replace Magic with an adult and the franchise would get its stuff back together. I’m just thrilled to hear their next hire will be Lue.

Did Wade make that retirement official yet? Sounds like the Lakers need a Robin next year.
