From now on he says he would like to be referred to as 'The Architect'.Jeff Fisher is just the worst.
The Fords spend money to field a better team? Lol.Not listed: Jim Caldwell.
Somebody nudge Martha awake. Jeff Fischer signed an extension August 2016. It’s OK to admit you were wrong & pay the settlement. We know you love Jim, give him a nice sendoff so he can spend more time with his grandchildren.
I've traded Luck everywhere, too little too late.Only one more week of Chuck
Seriously? 2006 there were 10 HC fired, 2009 11. You think they’ll be 11 more?Going to be a blood bath in one weeks time. Could end up being the highest turnover of coaches in one offseason I’ve seen in my lifetime.
yeah not a hc but easily the worst at his job in the NFLSark shouldn't be allowed to call plays on Madden let alone for an NFL team.

McVay, Pederson and Shanahan, all young first time head coaches (you forgot that McDermott is doing a very good job in Buffalo) don't seem like valid comparisons to older retreads like JDR, Fox and Caldwell.Should be interesting. There are not 10 offensive minded above average candidates available. In this copycat league, owners see what LAR and PHI did with new blood at the HC position geared towards putting points on the board. They are also seeing what Shanahan is doing with Garopollo in these past few weeks. Comparing that to defensive minded terdlets like Jack Del Rio and the mess he has created in OAK, John Fox and his continued suckage everywhere he stops, Caldwell and his Herminator routine, etc., hopefully teams will dig deep and uncover some O minded gems.
I shouldn't have used the word compare. I meant 'look what fresh idea's do' then 'look at what craptastic same old #### continues to do'. Why would anyone hire these perpetual losers to coach their team.McVay, Pederson and Shanahan, all young first time head coaches (you forgot that McDermott is doing a very good job in Buffalo) don't seem like valid comparisons to older retreads like JDR, Fox and Caldwell.
Absolutely agree. I was very opposed to the JDR hiring in Oakland, a 12-4 season last year did not change that and this year validated my feelings about him. Like Fox and Caldwell (and Marvin etc) JDR has zero ability to game plan his teams to wins. It's all about axes in the locker room and stupid, I'll fitting suits on the sidelines. I would think that Patricia would definitely know to get someone to run the O like his mentor has. I hate most DC head coaches on teams where I have fantasy players.Absolutely agree. Teams should be falling all over themselves to grab guys like McDaniels and Patricia. I wish Oakland would dump JDR because coaches would also be falling all over each other to coach that offense.

From the Lions message board: Caldwell couldn't man up enough to try for a first. Is it a surprise? First off Caldwell ball is a joke. Everyone knows he as as innovative as jello. There is more brain activity in jello. Caldwell registers a zero on the scale for brain life. It is so difficult watching other teams complete fourth downs on a regular basis. Brady and Wentz can sneak for a first over eighty percent of the time. It is technique and heart. Caldwell has zero in either category. Hell, the team might draw confidence from Jimmy frozenface except they can't tell he's confident because you could replace him with a cardboard cutout and it would take three quarters to recognize the cutout wasn't coaching.

I am not so concerned if a HC comes from the D side of the ball, it's youth and mental flexibility that I value (far more the latter than the former). McDermott is having a fine year and is definitely overachieving with that roster. Dan Quinn, Pete Carroll, Mike Zimmer, Mike Tomlin are all defensive guys who have had great success and I personally think Todd Bowles could be something special (I would take him over JDR without hesitation). And despite what some say John Harbaugh has had a great run as a special teams guy. Yeah guys I want Alex Collins to get more touches too but the Ravens are poised for their 6th 10 win season and 7th playoff appearance in 10 seasons under Harbaugh.I would think that Patricia would definitely know to get someone to run the O like his mentor has. Meh, Mike Tomlin and BB were DC’s. Jim Schwartz had some ridiculous offensive seasons with Stafford/Megatron. Brian Billick went from offensive juggernaut in Minnesota to offensive wasteland in Baltimore. Personnel, coaching and an ability to be creative or let your OC be creative is what is important. Patricia has an impressive resume from an intellectual standpoint. I think the Pats would be wise to do what they had to to keep him around for post BB.I would think that Patricia would definitely know to get someone to run the O like his mentor has. I was worried to the very end that he was advocating for Jackson to stay.
Seems to be a great offensive coordinator and play caller.Faust said:
Wait he said this? Dementia has officially set in.Jon Gruden wants to come back and team up with Winston. That will be serious entertainment.
Jay Gruden if let go will be pursued by the Bengals. Good for them.
Jeff Fisher is ready to come back and destroy another team. He also wants everyone to know that he is the true architect of the 2017 Rams.![]()
Hue Jackson want to go back to being an OC. Good move by him.
I changed the thread title. I don’t know how you do your searches or filings but just letting you know.
