After 4 pm games:
156.10 + (Allen - 36.60) + (Watkins - 9.90) + (MIN/TEN - 9.00)

Decent number but gonna be very hard for my score to improve.

Sitting at about 188.7 with the potential for more.

There wasn't a whole lot of production from my RBs, but my WRs went into full berzerker mode.

This seems to have been a pretty rough week for RBs all in all.

Feeling pretty comfortable this week with Cousons & AJDillon to go.

Other than only having 1 kicker I’m kinda liking this team.

Sorry to be that guy, but I've looked in this thread for scoring, tried last week's link, and can't find anything. Are you guys calculating your own scores from the raw data? And what about the cut line?

Again, my apologies. Bad weekend as I flew to Auburn to watch PSU hand us our asses.

The path to take is from the main footballguys menu select "More" then "Contests" and then you can go to your team or standings to see how you're doing. The scoring you'll see there is updated fairly soon after the end of the games - totally unofficial mins you.

145.55 with Allen, Lazard, and Dillon to go and all 3 probably adding to my score. Again not good but not bad either. Like I say anyday you wake up breathing is a good day, I'll take it.

Got it. So pretty much the old thing, thanks. I was under the impression it was a separate link.

Good news is, I shouldn't have to sweat this week. 46 over the line with Doubs/Cook/MacKenzie -4, -4.6, -8.2 + Goedert -7.1, Bullock -8.8 and MIN -11.

I'm relieved that so far the cut line is lower than I was expecting. I was not feeling good after Thursday night's game, but things look pretty good now. I still have 6 players to go, but not expecting much of a bump, if any. Lowest flex score is currently 9.90, so nothing helps me unless players score above that.Probalby the best chances are with with Goedert and Dillon. I do expect the cut line to jump up more than it did last week since there are 2 Monday night gamest this week.

CUT LINE90.70

Elliott appears to be a big mistake after 2 weeks. Watkins might bump Kelce off his flex perch after scores update. Glad I invested in 2 stud TE.

Hopefully survive to week 3 by the grace of Turk

Monday Night players are:

QB - Cousins (2475), Hurts (1855), Allen (1071), Tannehill (108), Minshew (50). Kirk & Jalen are 2nd and 3rd most common QB's, and Josh is 14th. I think these 3 are gonna raise the cut a good amount. Why? Because the only top 15 most common QB to have a great game was Jackson. Carr/Lawrence had usable games, but all the rest were under 20 points.

RB - D. Cook (1428), Moss (712), Mattison (699), Henry (666), Gainwell (507), J. Cook (394), Singletary (371), Scott (353), Hilliard (279), Sanders (278), Haskins (153). Dalvin will determine how the lines moves here. None of the more common RB's ahead of him scored over 11 points.

WR - McKenzie (1894), Jefferson (1851), Davis (1284), Osborn (953), Brown (871), Thielen (760), Diggs (711), Smith (488), Burks (282), Woods (248), Crowder (152), Westbrook-Ikhine (94). Lots of great WR performances already, but there's some serious firepower here. Isaiah & Justin currently sit at 6th and 7th most common.

TE - Goedert (1744), Knox (1097), Hooper (587), Smith (272), Swaim (15). Dallas is the most common TE, and Dawson comes in at 9th. Of the remaining top 9, the highest was Njoku at 7.7. Goedert may push the line alone with a great game.

K - Joseph (699), Bass (516), Bullock (476), Elliott (425). All middle-of-the-pack kickers in terms of ownership. Not alot to see here.

D - BUF (1583), MIN (1395), TEN (971), PHI (796). They are currently 4th, 5th, 9th, and 10th most common. Some quick math and I think roughly 275 Bills owners are rolling with just them at D.

With 4 teams left on Monday, we could see a pretty significant rise in the line. Hopefully you are all comfortably ahead of it.

Care to guess what significant means? 30 points? 50 points?

42 pts

I’m 30 above the cut line with Cousins, Diggs, McKenzie, Vikes D, Titans D, so hopefully I’ll make it through, but this TE group does not inspire confidence…

TE Dawson Knox - $140.00
TE Albert Okwuegbunam - $90.00
TE Mo Alie-Cox - $62.40
TE Kyle Rudolph - $30.00

With 4 games left, hard to say where that cut will end up. I am only 20 points above the current value. AJ Brown, Cousins, and a couple defenses to go. Fingers crossed...could be tight.

Trivia fun with " Turk-o-matic"

In checking standings after the 4pm games yesterday, I was looking at the cut line and also the bottom of the standings, feeling a bit lucky for myself while at the same time feeling a little sorry for some folks who had scored very few points though the first 13 NFL games. Then I got a chuckle when I looked at the very bottom of the list and saw a team named "HolyHandGrenades" in 11,030th place, with a grand total of only 13.80 points. Now who do you suppose could resist taking a closer look and checking out that lineup? Certainly NOT ME!

So upon closer observation I noted that the team consisted of 10 Green Bay Packers, 9 Philadelphia Eagles, plus 3 additional players on 3 other NFL teams, (including Clyde Edwards-Helaire, who incidentally accounted for all 13.80 of his points so far)... plus Blankenship, who is on NO NFL team at the moment. On first thoughts you are probably thinking the same thing I was, which is no chance for this team to advance to week 3. (But you would be wrong). I made some notes because I wanted to check back today and check on this team's progress.

After one additional game was played last night between Green Bay and the Chicago Bears, this team has now put up an additional 107.80 points from that single game, and sits at 121.60 points (22.60 points above the tentative cut line), and in 7,574th place. PLUS... He has 9 players still to play tonight, all Philadelphia Eagles.

Now, I'll be willing to bet that this team will not survive for very long, and certainly not through bye week 7 if he makes it that far, when all 9 his Philadephia playes are idle.

I had a slight hesitation to posting this because the last thing I want to do is offend anyone, especially the owner of "HolyHandGrenades". There are many different strategies involved in this game and I ceratinly do not claim to have it figured out myself. But I do think the humor is worth sharing here. It gave me a good laugh, so hopefully if you are reading this, you found it interesting, and maybe a bit humorous as well.

My plan to continually advance with a sorry *** roster marches on! ... so far.

Sitting on 101.75 with three players remaining this week: Josh Allen (-8.95); James Cook (-5.60); DeVonata Smith (-6.50)

My three highest scores so far (and the only three to break double-digits) are 20.80 (Bateman), 13.90 (McPherson), and 12.60 (Kelce).

Looks like somebody might have gotten their in season contest strategy confused with their post season contest strategy.

Care to guess what significant means? 30 points? 50 points?
Well, the cutline went from 90 to 99 with the CHI/GB game, so that should help us with our guess.
QB - Fields & Rodgers were 9th/16th with scores of 10 & 24. I doubt Fields made a dent, but with Aaron's cost/score, he made a bump.
RB - Dillon, Herbert, and Monty were 5th/12th/61st, but their scores probably did very little. Aaron's 20th with 30 points did the heavy lifting.
WR - The only 2 who mattered were Lazard & Watkins (5th/12th with 9/12 points respectively). Doubs was 4th with 4 and Cobb was 62nd with 6.
TE - Kmet got skunked again, and Tonyan scored 4. Nothing here.
K - Crosby was 5th with 10, while Santos was 25th with 5.
D - Both scored 5, and were 2nd/11th.

The only great score was Aaron Jones. Based on the above and the studliness/commonality of the players yet to play, I could see the line moving 30-35, but that's just a guess.

I'm hopeful for movement of 30 but expect Murphy to kick in and move the line by 40.

I'm whistling past the graveyard with 116 + (Jalen Hurts - 9) + (Dalvin Cook - 8) + (Titans - 7) + 2 (flex benefit if Dalvin outscores current RB2).

Scores of 25 and 20 by Hurts and Cook assuming a Titans D push put me at 139. A line movement of 40 puts the cut at 139. My contest life is a coin toss.

Nobody has a crystal ball, but I'm guessing the cut line won't go much higher than 125. Although there are still 4 teams left to play, there are fewer subscriber teams with players still active. Of course, if we have a repeat of the type of scoring in the Baltimore - Miami type game, all bets are off.

I'm in trouble here on 98 with basically just Knox still to play
What's your team #?
109010
Sadly, you are .5 under the line after the late game, but you do get all of Knox's points after 4.1 and all of TEN D's points after 3.
I assume you didn't verify your roster after you set it? You own a guy who was IR'ed a week before the deadline.
If you mean Robinson then that was intentional, if you mean someone else that was an oversight. Can't win prizes anyway

I was talking about Zane Gonzalez. He was ruled out for the season on 30 August, and the contest closed on 7 September. Not being able to win prizes must suck!

So assuming Minnesota's defense doesn't come up with a defensive TD it looks like my team is done at 160.75 which seems good enough so onto Week 3!
Good luck to those sweating the Turk :scared:

Very curious to see the cut. Actually, I don't think it went up as much as the scores would say. Cousins scored like crap, and so did Cook.

Typically, the lowest score for the first few weeks is someone who chooses a team like 15 kickers or something. Week 2 was no such week. The lowest score was a normal 20-person roster with 3 QB's, 5 each at RB's and WR, 3 TE's, and 2 each at K & D. The team was as normal as they come, yet scored only 66 points. This could be any of us...
