Apparently, every Sunday afternoon the Pacers look like the '96 Bulls.

This is by FAR the craziest sporting event I've ever been at. Flares going off in the arena, everyone is jumping non stop and the building is shaking, riot police everywhere, everyone smoking inside, non stop chants and songs. It's awesome! It's their championship here, I got lucky to be here on this day.

Pretty decent ball too, but so much different than the NBA obviously.

Insane with the injuries. Indy playing out of their minds today, but NY just couldn't afford to lose OG when they did. Changed the series once they didn't have a big active forward to make length/energy plays and guard Siakam.

Injuries happen when you play really hard for too many minutes. It is why the Knicks run was unsustainable and why I predicted the Pacers in 7.

1 game rested at full strength? Knicks are tough as anyone. A 7 game series playing every other day? They just can't maintain that pace and effort.

They did have a great run. I didn't give them much of a chance after Randall went down but Brunson wouldn't let them quit. Should be a compelling team if they can stay healthy and add a piece.

Thibs coaching is good to beat season long over / unders, winning coach of the year awards, and generating praise from talking heads. Not sure it's so great for the health of his players or winning championships.

Nah. Brunson's a really good player but the constant grifting for calls is tough to root for and inevitably hurts his team the further into the playoffs they advance. See also: CP3, Harden, Embiid, etc.

Celtics will be huge favorites. Celtics took 3 out of 5 during the regular season so they had the edge, but Pacers showed they can hang. Hopefully it’s a good series.

Funny you say that. My friend was just getting out of Penn Station as the game ended and got caught up in the Knicks post game crowd. He said it was the happiest bunch of New Yorkers he's ever seen after losing a series. The chant started off with F Tyrese, then went to F Embid and eventually led to F Trae Young

Great for Indy, I’m happy for them and their fans as a fan of a fellow small market. That said, I think they are up there with the 2019 Blazers and 2021 Hawks in terms of, shall we say, conference finals appearances where the achievement isn’t all that representative of their actual talent.

Assuming my wife doesn't kill him before the game today, this is going to be fun. I just hope it's not a Nuggets blowout.

Kid is 8. He’s been a wolves fan for a month. He’s already pessimistic.
