'13 - Heat over the Spurs in 7 games, we all remember the Ray Allen bailing out the Heat down 3-2 with security setting up for a Spurs victory
You have the Cavs down 3-1 in 2016 pull it out in 7

Most of these NBA Finals are pretty bad or lop sided, most of the Series that were even 4-2 seem lopsided in hindsight.
NBA not exactly showcasing their best stuff on the biggest stage.

Usually one conference is more dominant than the other and that conference finals should be the finals. Not this year though.

If any game encapsulates the 2024 NBA Playoffs this would be it. Perfect way to cap off a terrible post season.

The Mavs seem like a 5-seed and need a lot more than just 1 more superstar on this team
Not sure it's really a team yet, feels like Luka is the team, Kyrie some nights is around but the rest of this group not that great

I wouldn't expect Dallas right back in the Finals next year

That Luka airball down 14 was massive. A little 6-0 Celtics run after that and just when it seemed possible we might get a game, we aren't.

Based on what im seeing , i`m more convinced than ever that the Celtics purposely dropped that game in Dallas so they could win it in Boston for the fans , they are that much better than the Alice Mavericks .

Don't blame the Celtics for a unentertaining post season/ finals. There opponents are bad.
Has DAL even hit a 3 tonight?
They are shooting awful. They are not too pretty good overall.

Dallas beat three really good teams to get to the finals. They are legit

I don't understand why people are so surprised. 80 years of NBA history says you have to be a top 2 seed in your conference to win a title. If you aren't and you make a run you are probably going to get blown out.

The NBA equals the best teams win rhe championships.

Boston has had an incredible season, there is no doubt about it. But they also haven't been tested much in the Playoffs, not their fault.

We heard all season that the West was far superior to the East but in the end not only are the Celtics easily the best team in the league, but I feel the Pacers played them much harder despite the sweep, and that was with Halliburton out for 3.5 games. With the Bucks, Heat, and Knicks all suffering massive losses to injury in the playoffs I think the West’s dominance is somewhat of a paper tiger in retrospect.

I am on the other side. I think the Celtics were by far the best team, but the next 4 or 5 best teams were in the West.

I'm excited to see what the Knicks can do next year with a healthy Randle.

Really the only team that could have given Boston a great series is probably Denver but they lost at home in a game 7. Celts are clearly the best team in the league this year. Big summer ahead for white boys wearing their hats backward and yelling incoherently.

True but this team that showed up in the finals isn't the same. Credit the Celtics for shutting them down but I don't think DAL beats OKC or Minn playing like this.

Boston's D has been awesome tonight, but you could be blackout drunk by now if you took a shot every time Dallas missed an open shot. Good grief.
