In the clubhouse at 149.8!! Still don't understand how I've lasted this long with this sorry bunch at RB. Pierce counted for me this week at 3.4, that's how bad it is.
RB Nick Chubb - $300.00
RB Dameon Pierce - $213.40
RB Alvin Kamara - $1513.90
RB Khalil Herbert - $130.00
RB Tank Bigsby - $91.30
RB Chris Evans - $30.00

Look at the bright side - Chubb already had his bye!

So I am ahead of the cut line by 419 entries.

What has the highest Monday cutline change been so far this year?

-QG
I don't think we've even moved 10 points and that's with 3 of 5 weeks of 4 teams playing.

It really stinks to have a good team and know that it's all for naught because you have Chubb.

@BassNBrew @QuizGuy66 : The largest cut line movement with 1 Monday night game was 7.50. The average is 6.21 points.

I'll skate by this week and advance to week 7, but with very little help from WRs.
This is my (pathetic) WR group result in week 6, with Joshua Palmer nicked up, although expected to play tonight:

Currently sitting on 135.0 with Dicker the kicker - 8.3, and Josh Palmer - 7.1 left to play....

All I've got to say is Ezekiel Elliott picked a good week to show up on the score sheet

Aside from Parris Campbell, I would have LOVED that WR group going into Week 1 based on what we knew/thought then.

I have Chubb, Conner and K Herbert as my top 3 RBs, and I still may survive another week! At 132 with LAC D (-5) left. Current cut line at 114. I should be good.

But I am still dead man walking.

A lot of dead teams walking this year. Probably will be one of the easiest years to make the finals if you can avoid injuries to your studs. We are going to see some really low cut lines in the coming weeks.

So many studs have had injuries already: Chubb, Kelce, Kupp, JJ, Saquon, A Jones, the list goes on and on. Can you imagine after all this lamenting if someone who owns Chubb gets lucky with all their other picks and actually wins it?!?

We have a decent amount of board regulars on the hot seat, so best wishes to all!
We have 5 regulars currently under the cut line, and 3 others less than 7 points clear of the cut line. :frown:
If you have the time, can you tell us who we need to sweat this week?

I'm about to write the dumbest thing I've ever written on a forum, or perhaps anywhere:

I don't have a single player on my roster who is injured or has lost his job. Yeah, Dameon Pierce is losing some snaps, Zack Moss should be relegated to backup (but hasn't been!) but I knew that when I picked him, and Bryce Young's role could get a little shaky maybe. But looking around the league, I can't believe how my guys have danced through the minefield without being touched.

Okay, I just ensured a truly humiliating elimination for my team: you're welcome, everyone.

Yeah, the week sucks so far, but I still have all of Herbert and Pollard, plus anything Ferguson can give me over 6.7, and finally #dickerthekicker anything over 8. So we will see, but I'm cautiously optimistic.

As a DFS player...or more precisely someone who throws money away playing DFS....I'm fascinated by the Moss/Taylor/Richardson situation. When AR is playing, the RB's fantasy points get crushed. Moss has been awesome. I'm not sure anything is actually gained by displacing Moss with Taylor (there, I said it).

Well written, and don't worry - there's no such thing as a jinx! I too have avoided the injury bug, and I doubt any of my guys will miss time this year.

It isn't pretty, but I should survive as I have zero QB points at the moment with Herbert going on MNF
There are 600 entries between you and the cutline. You get every single point of the contest's highest scoring QB. Did you just say SHOULD survive?
Well, I was listed here as one of the potential entries at risk, so yeah, I was just pointing out I should survive. But sure, I expect to survive.

I will give you all a board regular to root for tonight - @Hatch
He is currently 48.15 below the cut, and ahead of only 8 other contest teams. But he does have a shot.
QB - gets all of Herbert's points
WR - Allen counts starting around 4 pts
TE - Ferguson counts starting around 4 pts
PK - Dicker won't count until 15.9 pts
TD - LAC counts starting 6 pts

Now THIS is sweating!

The problem is, all of the players are at the top of the commonality list for tonight. Let's just say they each hit their averages:
QB Herbert - 29.96
WR Allen - 26.36
TE Ferguson - 10.70
PK Dicker - 8.15
TD Chargers - 7.50
Total = 82.67

Now take away the points they need before they start counting = 29.90. That leaves 52.77 points. That would put him 4.62 above the line, assuming the line moves ZERO tonight. And trust me, if they all score those amounts (and Pollard has a decent game), the line will be moving more. If I were Hatch, I would actually want Dicker to score very low, and also the Chargers D, unless they can score about 13+. Then have Herbert & Allen explode for 60+, and Ferguson to have a double digit game.

Brought to you by the lovely folks at the Spanish Inquisition. Interesting things happen when you let religious convictions dictate civics...hello Governor DeSantis.

and now back to the main topic...

I may be just below the cut line, but not sweating at all… Herbert-0 should have me above the line by end of 1st quarter. Add to that Ekeler-6.6 and possibly even Ferguson-9.2. Feeling 99% safe.

Oooh, a misplaced Falco earworm?? Usually it is Bohemian Rhapsody that jumps to mind musically

I'm not smart enough to operate the quote, but 7.6 above the line per @Puppies post, I'm 7.6 above the line with all of Dicker's points counting. I suspect I'll be OK, but the Turk is hiding somewhere in the house.

I assume Herbert gets both passing and
receiving yardage for that 10-yard play, but sadly appears that he gets no PPR bonus. :ponder:
In the event of a discrepancy among stat providers on any of the above statistics for any of the above positions, the nfl.com player page game logs will be deemed to be official. For players listed on the contest form as QB, RB, WR, or TE, no points will be awarded for any stats not listed above (e.g. return TDs, fumble recovery TDs, receptions for QB, two-point conversions, etc.).

Somebody WILL own Herbert and miss the cut by less than 1 point

Ugh so mid-1pm games I am at around 68 points...gonna be a very big sweat even though I have some big players yet to go (Burrow/Chase/Nacua/McCaffrey). Supporting players have not come through so far.

:scared:

-QG

This post was mocked at the time, but if Burrow/Chase/Nacua/McCaffrey put up their week 6 total (53.95 combined) instead of their week 5 total (121.05 combined) I would have ended up with a score of 128.45 - missing the cut by about 5 points*. Can't assume safety until the points are in the bank.

* - the cut drops - but probably not enough to save me

-QG

Sorry about Parham's missed endzone look Twin Turbo :(
-QG

also...... Joshua Palmer had 3 receptions for around 60 yards, and a TD .... all called back by penalties. He could have put up really good numbers tonight if not for the penalties.

Big sigh of relief for a few Herbert owners on that 2nd TD just now...
