Edward Herman was born in 1943 and was in Lost Boys. He would be 73 today but he died 2 years ago. Not exactly A-list, mogul there though.

For whatever reason, systemic child molestation just seems difficult to root out in a variety of contexts (Penn State, Catholic Church, that BBC guy, Rotherham, Hollywood??). I'm not really sure why that is though.

There's probably no perfect answer to this question aside from "maybe." However, if the matter did proceed to the criminal court, the defendant would likely NOT be able to preclude the witness's testimony because of the NDA. Should the witness testify, the remedy to the defendant would likely be whatever monetary recourse was made available to him in the NDA.

I don't do much civil work but my understanding is that, unlike a plea agreement in the criminal, a civil settlement does not require an admission of liability or even that a trier of fact could possibly find liability if he matter had proceeded to trial.

I don't like the guy but obviously him getting passed around like a toy to every pervert in Hollywood has really messed him up in the head. The truly repulsive people are all the Hollywood industry folks that knew this existed and looked the other way.

So 7 days later. We must have different ideas on what soon means. The Coreys have pushed this narrative a long time. The one still alive refuses to name anyone. While I find it easy to believe there are pedophiles in Hollywood, just like in say banking, I find it hard to believe there is a ring of them raping young boys for decades, many of whom go on to be powerful in the industry in their own right, and it's never been exposed. it's not how people work. The more people who know the less likely a secret is to be kept. Especially in this age of instant look at me.
