This is goodProbably not really in the FBG wheelhouse but I can’t stop listening to Ghetto Lenny’s Love Songs by Saint Jhn
Is Ty Segall sans guitars really Ty Segall?Ty segall drops an album and nobody tells me :(
I'm tempted by that tour with Weezer and Fall Out Boy, even though it would be straight nostalgia driving me there and the last album I really like by any of them was released in like 2005.I let myself get my hopes up about Green Day's new single from their new album (which comes out...5 months from now?)
:(
I'm here to cut you off and tell you no. Don't do it.I'm tempted by that tour with Weezer and Fall Out Boy
Funny, at first glance mine looks more interesting than it's been in a whileStrange RR this week with lots of remixes.
They covered the whole album? I liked the one tune that popped up on mineA Giant Dog covering all of Neon Bible??
You couldn't do that with a regular sized dogThey covered the whole album? I liked the one tune that popped up on mineA Giant Dog covering all of Neon Bible??
Yeah. I don’t think it’s out yet. Just Intervention. They covered the whole album? I liked the one tune that popped up on mine
Old Menzingers?3 new tracks from the menzingers.
I thought they were a lot heavier. Who the hell am I thinking of?
I like it way more than I thought I would, there are a couple very good tracks on it.New Ghostface any good?
I still look at Pitchfork but it kinda sucks now (in before “NOW?!”). Fans of guitar music aren’t really in their demo anymore I guess. For fellow list nerds: Pitchfork (does anyone still visit them?) have put out ballots for their readers’ poll of the top 10 albums of the 2010s
Should we do out 2010-19 poll before or after the 2019 one? ( I was leaning after).. and song drafts for each of course.El Floppo said:I enjoy our list most of all. No joke.
Did I miss the 2018 countdown?Should we do out 2010-19 poll before or after the 2019 one? ( I was leaning after).. and song drafts for each of course.
I’ll post the results. It’s not much of a countdown, not many people sent lists :(Did I miss the 2018 countdown?
Celebration Rock and Worry were #1 and #2 on my list.D_House said:For fellow list nerds: Pitchfork (does anyone still visit them?) have put out ballots for their readers’ poll of the top 10 albums of the 2010s
lol, the first one on my list is Old Town Road... my son loves that song.Just discovered a Spotify feature... "On repeat" & "on repeat rewind". Kind of a greatest hits playlist pulled from your playlist, so no new music. Hittimg the spot today between RR, discover weekly, and daily playlists.
It's going to take a few spins to get used toNew Sturgill is ... interesting
Yeah I didn’t dislike it. Just an odd pivot from him. It's going to take a few spins to get used to
Gonna dig into this at some point. Finished the whole remastered Abbey Road already. Didn’t really pop as much as the remastered White Album but obviously still goodThe industry has remixed and remastered old albums to death but not many measure up to the more familiar originals.
The new Replacements release Dead Man's Pop is one of the exceptions. The Matt Wallace remix of their 1989's Don't Tell A Soul LP is terrific. I always liked the songs but struggled with the sound of the album. The new mix sounds a lot more like the 'Mats should.
I haven't gotten to the demos, outtakes and live stuff yet.
Bolded comment convinced me to check it out!Did Sturgill go synth-folk
New Broken Bells song is great.
Did Sturgill go synth-folk
UPDATE: I am fairly certain that I love this album.Bolded comment convinced me to check it out!
