Brandon Lloyd - any injury info? (1 Viewer)

Would appreciate an insight into Brandon Lloyd's injury status. I saw the report where he was in a brace, but that's about all I can find anywhere. Trying to decide if he's worth keeping on the roster or not. Thanks!!

I can't find much either, but did get a few tidbits from the bears message board.

Apparently he was able to get off the field when he got hurt, but fell down and "acted" so the Bears could get an injury timeout. He banged his knee into the ground, so I doubt it's ligament damage. The only thing Lovie said about the injuries to Lloyd & several other Bears players is that they're not season ending.

He's expected to be listed as questionable, and there's a chance he could miss a game. I'm hanging onto him, he looks like a pretty decent WR3, even if he misses a week.

Read something Friday were he said his knee was sprained and he was handling it exactly like he would a sprained ankle. Whatever that means.

I could use him but don't know how you can start him. He was ruled "out" on Friday, not even a GTD. Under that situation players rarely are able to return the next week and do well. I'd just like to know his status to determine if I should cut him or keep him.

Mon, Oct 6 Brad Biggs, of the Chicago Sun-Times, reports Chicago Bears WR Brandon Lloyd (knee) did not play in the team's Week 5 game because of a knee injury. He is considered day-to-day and may not play in the team's Week 6 game.

It's just a sprained knee. He'll have had 2 weeks of rest for the next game. I have to imagine he plays, especially after seeing the Bears passing game excel w/o him.
