***Buffalo at Kansas City*** (-1.5) 54u Mr Allen, Mr Mahomes, gentlemen...START...YOUR...ENGINES!!! (2 Viewers)

Frazier just screwed himself out of any head coaching opportunities. You want that guy as your head coach?  Unreal. 13 seconds left!?  And their safeties were 30 yards deep paranoid about giving up the win, even though with deep safeties they just gave up a TD a minute ago anyway.
On the flip side, Daboll is probably going to have his pick of the litter.

They were fine allowing the first pass. For the second they should have tackled every WR at the snap. Take the 5 yard penalty and good luck with your Hail Mary.
I’ve always favored this strategy c for years. And no one ever does it. I always want to see it when the offense is 1st and goal with 15. seconds left. Hug the wrs for 3 plays until the clock is near zero. Then they only get 1 chance at a TD instead of 3 or 4.

Who cares about the overtime rules? This game never should have gotten to overtime. Inexcusable. The defense choked, but this loss is squarely on coaching and a host of bad coaching decisions made in the last 30 seconds robbed Josh Allen, the offense, and Bills fans of a trip to the AFCCG.

I don’t care about next year. That’s a long way away and there are a lot of good young up and coming teams in the AFC. Nothing is guaranteed and not winning now is a total and utter failure.

Yeah...but KC did the same thing.  Last QB with the ball wins.  KC didn't deserve the win any more and if the coin had landed on the other side I'm sure Josh would have found the end zone.

I know this is a gut punch as a Panthers fan that gifted the Pats one and choked vs Denver.  You've got a great team, unfortunately they are better enough to escape the luck factor.  Honestly the only failure I see is coming up short in some regular season games and this game not being in Buffalo.

Frankly the kickoff shouldn't matter. They are at their own 25 with 13 seconds left. That should be good enough. You can't let them move into FG range in 2 plays no matter how great their offense is.

Matt Milano getting beat by Kelce for the TD was a nice capper too. Milano and Edmunds were flat out awful all game and one of the biggest reasons the defense floundered. Neither could cover and both missed tons of tackles.

Pathetic OT rules honestly. Thought that ever since have followed NFL. This is the worst example ever. You have 2 QBs throwing counter punch after counter punch then you dont even let one of them try and answer the call in OT

Embarassing
Defense is about half of the game.

Not the way the NFL wants it.  They want offensive shootouts that come down to the last play of the game. They love this ####, yet still have stupid rules that only let one offensive team touch the ball in OT - all due to a coin flip.

The kickoff aside, I agree.  Not sure what Frasier had his defense doing, but that was dreadful.  No one was even near Kelce on the play that put them in FG range.

Maybe we can get together with Browns, Chargers and Vikings fans and cry it out.
Sorry for your loss. Condolences. Take solace in knowing you have one of the best QBs anywhere, a generational talent, who undoubtedly will steward your team to a Super Bowl championship in the near future

We will probably never see a playoff weekend like we did this weekend ever again.

All 4 games ended on the final play.

This is exactly what I was thinking.  I was also thinking it on the Bills previous drive when there was 30 seconds left at midfield.  Do it four times and it leaves them at the 30 yard line with one play left.

I was at the Epic in Miami, a 41-38 overtime loss in a 1981 AFC divisional game to Dan Fouts and the Chargers, where Miami overcame a 24-0 deficit, and Kellen Winslow blocked a fg and had a then-record 13 receptions and fell exhausted on the field after the game. Fans at the Orange Bowl were standing for the entire 2nd half. This BUF-KC game is right up there.

Youre kicking a line drive that’s gonna bounce on that kickoff.

fair catch on a squib kick or a fair catch inside the 15?

ok….

Okay, so then the Chiefs are starting from their own 5 or 10 or wherever they fair catch the kickoff?  Kicking that ball into the end zone was a failure of biblical proportions.

But 15 yards deeper

Maybe, maybe not.  Give Hill the ball in open space with no one around?   Did you guys see him waving bye to the guy 2 yards in front of him on the TD?  I remember more musical city miracles than teams drive 50 yards on 13 seconds.

really feel for the Bills. feel strongly they need to change OT rules in the playoffs to college rules. losing because of a coin toss just sucks

As a Bills fan I am more mad at the defence and the 13 seconds. If you can’t stop them there you don’t deserve to complain about the overtime rules.

Really brutal for Buffalo not to get a shot in OT, but let’s not go totally off the rails and implement the college rules. College OT isn’t even football. Just tweak it to allow both teams to touch the ball and be done with it.

That's the game I came up with as the only competition I could think of for this one.

Truly an all-timer tonight.

Weather was ok this weekend and I almost felt guilty staying inside and watching all 4 games.

I regret nothing.

We don't need CFB OT but we need some kind of OT reform.

My preferred change (1st team to 6 points wins) wouldn't have helped in this situation.

Yeah, it’s funny because non-Bills fans seem more upset about the overtime rules than Bills fans. Obviously I wish that the Bills had win the toss or had another chance, but the defense had to make a stop at some point and they just didn’t. And if you can’t make a stop when the opponent has it on their one 25 with 13 seconds left, then whining about overtime rules and that you didn’t get a shot is dumb.

Just play an entire 12 minute quarter.  If it's still tied play another 10 minute quarter.  If anyone is still alive then play a sudden death quarter.
