Capella's 24-hour, VERY bigly OH MY GOD HOW DID WE GET HERE thread (1 Viewer)

Seriously how does Hillary not come out and thank her supporters for staying there all night and let them know it won't be decided tonight. So lame.

He has a little work on his side to do. He won. With that he needs to cut out all the bull#### and act like the president.

If he comes out and acts like a little ##### well it's going to be pretty hard to get behind that.

Democrats will likely do what was done to them when Obama came in and not work with him but he has to figure it out. Good luck.
He has work to do.  But either way, so do we.

I've spent hours in that ####hole Javitz Center for work conventions. That place sucks balls.
My wife's business conference was held there when we visited NYC a couple of weeks ago. Word going around today was that Hillary symbolically chose Javitz because of its glass ceiling (no joke).

I think Van Jones is going to throw down with Corey Lewanassbag.
I thought Van's comments after it was obvious that Trump was going to win were poignant.  He obviously seems hurt by Trump winning - I don't agree with everything he said but his sincerity was genuine.  There's a big divide going on right now and there's fear and anger on both sides.

If I'm looking at this stuff right ... Trump has been steadily pulling away in all three of WI, MI, & PA. Not immense leads, but around 2% or so. Enough of a lead to not really be recountable, right?
Kind of a shame they can't wrap this up...He was 254 on Fox with 20 from PA in the hopper and...

2.5 hours have passed. PA was called on the AP I think...this is exactly why Trump won...people just drag their feet.

It applies to anyone who does not get health insurance through his or her job (or is an independent contractor), is not Medicare-eligible, and has a pre-existing condition.  And I'm not sure you've ever read how the health carriers define a pre-existing condition, but of that 6%, probably 97% have one.  It's one of the reasons why health care is tied to employment.
No way are that many people that unhealthy where they wouldn't qualify for any insurance.

I'm expecting lots of found ballots in north Philly.
They're frantically stuffing as we speak.

"Aww gee willickers, here's 200k votes in this one precinct in Olney we forgot to count. Our bad."

I strongly suspect that Hillary and her team will be taking some kind of legal action to contest various aspects of the election.

I would be floored if she conceded tomorrow - but I hope she does.

He is the President now he has to be the bigger man. This is all on him. He has shown he is incapable of this over and over again, don't see it happening now.

Honestly hope I'm wrong and will be happy to admit it if it happens.

that's me.

first Obama out-maneuvered this "Podesta-led dream team" by building a never-before-seen ground game.  She was annoited then too, but lost so much steam at the end, the Super Delegates had to cave to Obama.  Her team got a lot smarter regarding cheating against Bernie, but the crowds told the story.  20,000+ to see the grandpa.  A few hundred to see Hillary.  She is not liked.  She has not been a champion of the people for a long time.  The voters have consistently rejected her.

This dream team of DNC, Hillary, Wall Street, plus the entire media all just lost to Donald Trump.  Let that sink in the next time everyone wants to rig the election.

We the people reserve the right to blow it all up.

He will graciously accept the win.

I'm guessing you never tried to get health insurance on the individual market that existed before the ACA.  It was impossible if you had any sort of health condition at all.
I'm sure it was.  But obviously a ton of people that currently get insurance via obamacare had it prior to obamacare b/c they're the one's that are whining about the premium increase.  No way that 97% of the people that currently have insurance via obamacare didn't have it prior to it.

Ok. I can buy some of this.

Let's hope he doesn't immediately try to pass major legislation with no Democrat support.  That would be very devicive.

So no Trump TV then?  Was hoping for some softcore pr0n option that rivals Cinemax.  :kicksrock:
i texted an ex this morning that i was rooting for Trump so there wouldnt be TrumpTV. she's very mad at me right now. if you become an ex-ex, that doesn't mean you hafta get back together, does it?

Perhaps the Democrats should come out and say our only mission is to make sure he doesn't get #### done.

Seems like we have a pattern here.

lol, PA is gonna hold this up for days because of provisional ballots if they split Michigan/Wisconsin.
DD, has Wayne County finished tallying up? Trying to see ifHRC really has room to move in MI or if they might as well call it.
Arbymelt said it was tallied three hours ago.

Says 71% of precincts have reported in Wayne County as of 4 minutes ago, Trump has a 58k lead so I'd guess just by simple arithmetic she could still win Michigan.  But it doesn't look great, Trump won a bunch of counties up north the GOP never wins (Saginaw, Bay, and close in Genesee).
