My oldest daughter saw her open for Tay Tay and play this song. Would have gladly seen her open and then swap places with my daughter (although I'm sure the Swift part was amazing - or so I've been told)

She was my first show after Covid, early summer 2021 when artists had started touring again. Open-air show at a gorge amphitheater, and she killed it. Highly recommend.

I have been playing Reckoning a TON the last month or so. It may be my favorite by them now. Every day I play it once at least. I was gonna use REM as my backup if I got sniped. I was just trying to decide if I was gonna use the two songs before yours. Pretty Persuasion or Time After Time (Annelise). Camera is probably my third favorite. What a record. Great pick.

I picked this song because Diana and Marvin do more than just swap verses like a lot of duets do. The sound is the glorious excess of early LA-era Motown. You can hear the swimming pools, movie stars and cocaine in the mix.

I assumed an L. Kind of like Elton John. It’s his stage name and functions like a last name.
