Almost took maps earlier today. Love that song.Great set of picks.
Awesome. The url code works when I type it but not when I paste it in.So I used to be able to copy text from my excel file and it would have all the url formatting work on the old board. I could just type the and text and it would work.
Anybody know how to do that now without clicking on the link icon?
I do most of my posting on my phone and don't want to have to hand type all the YouTube links. I used to email all the text to my phone and copy it in here.
Thanks.
Dammit! Just got back in to post that - first thing that hit me as soon as I read it. :8-trackdays:Now you're messin' with a sunuva#####
Never heard Wolf Parade, but love the other 3. Evil is one of my favorite songs, and would have taken some Tool long ago if they were on the ol' Spotify.gonna knock out a big chunk of the 2000s

18.02 Interpol - Evil 2004
19.29 Wolf Parade - Shine A Light 2005
19.29 The Raconteurs - Broken Boy Soldier 2006
Those are actually solid picks.1975- John Denver "Sunshine on My Shoulders"
I chose a cover of a Depeche Mode song (Ice Machine)21a - Wonderwall - Ryan Adams - 2004
21b - Lilian - Depeche Mode - 2005
Wonderwall is another great cover where I like the original. I *think* this is first Depeche Mode song chosen. I figured they would at least have a few 80s selections.
That was my 2nd choice for 1972. My number one is still out there and will be made next

Great picks. Stuck Between Stations is the other song I had for that year, and it was a tough choice. I thought it would have been taken long ago. Here's a double double shot of aughty proof...

Which was it? I was thinking of the one from Hot Tub Time Machine myself. Not that I don't love it. Probably my favorite hair metal ballad. Its just that I shifted gears and it doesn't seem to fit.
For me, the search function has been hard to seek things out since two board upgrades ago.Search function revealed nothing as well, but that's irrelevant I'm sure.
Thanks KP. Do you listen to Obscura? They are on my list to check out from fellow death fans. I checked out on alot of metal in the 90s and jumped back in the same time you did. I have always loved death though and saw them a few times back in the day. If the death to all tour comes back I highly recommend it. Was one of the best shows ive seen. Follow death dta tours on facebook. YOu know Richard Christy the drummer on the last death album the sound of perseverance is a regular on Stern? What's going to clear out bars quicker - Death or tim's picks?
That Death album has become one of my favorites now. Always listened to metal, but I did have a cut off point of how hard/how much growling I could do. There were a few bands that rekindled my love for metal in the 2000s after complaining there was no good new stuff out there - Mastodon is one (love that pick too), and you inspired me to take the other now with one of my picks. Anyway, that got me listening to other stuff, pushing past my usual cutoff, and finally started listening to Death. Just fantastic all around. Love the pick.
That was the song I wanted the whole draft. The Hold Steady are a great bar band and are perfect for a jukebox like this. I forgot to actually draft it and feel lucky that it was still there. I have only done 1 other draft here before (recent Scarcity) and this is the only repeat. I took it for an interesting category, "reference to a sports team".Great picks.
