On an average year, probably no. Last year, I'm sure I easily surpassed that. This year, I won't even come close.

. When I was an alcoholic I've done this quite a few times.

Now I don't drink but once a month, but I'll drink usually anywhere from 6-18. In a 2-3 hour period when the kids are in bed.

17 jiggers in a bottle of bourbon, a bottle a week puts me at 884, add in the occasional beer/moonshine and I'd guess around 1500 units a year.

If a unit is a 1 ounce shot then more likely around 2000 units a year

Easily. I drink either 2-3 beers or a couple glass of wine at dinner each night. I enjoy pairing my meal with a drink. Burger/pizza? Grab a beer. Pasta/steak/fish? Grab some wine. If we have company it grows to 4-5+ depending on how long they stay or if we play cards or if a game is on. During football season it's easily 5-10 during Niners' games.

I'd say over on the 1k pretty easily. And that's without getting "drunk" very often.
